Srenity nodded. Actually, she thought he was crazy too. But she didn't tell him that. She looked down at Tails. "This is Tails. He's lost, so I'm helping him find his friend." Serenity explained, turning her gaze back on Dante.
"H-hello." studdered Tails. He was eyeing the sword on Dante's back nervously.

Dante nodded, with a smile. "Nice to meet ya, little buddy." He told the fox. Suddenly, the ground started to shake, and the air started getting freakishly warm.(I'm setting up for a minor villain to show up, if that's okay with you. He's from DMC4. His name's Berial.)

Tails hugged Serenity's leg for balance. "W-w-wh-what's g-g-go-going o-on?"
"I-I do-don't kn-know!" Serenity was really getting freaked out now.

Suddenly, a mass of buildings burst into flames. A wall of hellfire rose from the ground, and out of the wall came a massive, horned demon. He had a body kinda like a centaur, and he carried a huge flaming sword. "I have returned, Son of Sparda! Now, face the full fury of Berial! I, the conqueror of the Fire Hell!" He roared.
Dante looked at Serenity with a smirk. "Still think I'm crazy?" He asked. He knew all along that she didn't believe him. He wasn't born yesterday. He then pulled out Ebony and Ivory, letting loose a shower of bullets on Berial.

Both Tails' and Serenity's eyes widened.
"Ahhhhhh!" yelled Tails, hiding his face in Serenity's pant leg(the only thing he could reach, really).
Serenity put her hand on Tails' head. "It's okay Tails." She told the fox, although not sure herself.

Dante ran to a building away from Serenity and Tails, firing at Berial the whole time.
Berial turned to face Dante, swinging his burning sword at him with massive force.
Dante, being the badass he was, simply put away his guns and blocked the giant blade with Rebellion.

Dante jumped onto Berial's blade, running up to the head of the conqueror. He then got in a few good slashes at the head of the massive demon, before he got thrown off. He then looked to Serenity. "No worries! This guy's a pushover!" He told her.
Berial roared, shooting a stream of flames at Dante, who rolled away at the last second, shooting Berial once again.

"See Tails? It's all going to be fine." Serenity told the small fox, comfortingly rubbing his head. Of course, inside she was thinking that if this was a pushover, she didn't want to know what was hard.

Berial turned his attention to Serenity and Tails, his huge blade descending on them.
Dante ran over to Tails and Serenity, blocking the blade with Rebellion again. He then pulled out one of his guns, a dark aura glowing around it. "Jackpot!" He said, firing a charged blast of demonic power at Berial's head.
Berial roared with pain, clutching at the eye he lost. He stumbled backwards, falling into a building.

Serenity knelt down and sheilded Tails when the blade was coming down. She shut her eyes tightly....but nothing happened.
She opened one eyelid, and saw Berial as he roared and fell into the building. "Wha....?"

Berial simply vanished in a vortex of fire, wanting to live to fight another day.
Dante smirked at the fleeing Berial. "Wuss..." He called him. He then looked to Serenity and Tails. "You two okay?" He asked.

Serenity stood. "I think so. Tails, are you okay?"
Tails opened his eyes, which had been tightly closed. "Uh-huh." he said, then suddenly pointed at the tall building next to the one Berial had smashed into. "Hey, there's someone up on that tower!"
Standing ontop of it was a Mysterious Figure with long silver hair and a sheith at his side, which held an extremely long katana. He was staring down at the place Berial had vanished, no real expression on his face. "I ask him to do a simple thing, and he fails me...." murmured the man in a rather deep voice.

Dante's eyes shifted upward to the person on the tower. "Who is that?" He asked no one in particular.

The man turned his head towards the three.He put a hand on the handle of his katana, slowly pulling it out. He stopped when some of the blade was visable and pushed it back in. "No. I have no time to waste on these fools...." The man turned and walked away, out of their view.
Serenity's heart beat faster when he looked at them. For a few reasons. One, she thought he was going to kill them, two, he looked familiar, and three, he was just plain hot! But she relaxed when he walked off. "I-I don't know....But I recognize him from somewhere...."
