Maeko - Mouse
Lily nodded her head, suddenly much less intersted. "Tell you what Miss Mouse. I'll put this item on hold for you and the next time I'm in Mossflower I'll ask for you and yours and you can feed me dinner at your humble abode. Then when I'm there I can deliver the dress, all safe and sound, in exchange for a decent meal for a change. How's that sound?"

Maeko - Hedgepig
"Fish is good." She licked her lips almost compulsively. "Though it'd have to be at least 3 meals worth if they're uncooked or unsmoked... two smoked big ones would be enough if you've got that on you."

Kami - Ferret
"Look kid, I don't care if you wear a dress... you got a song or not?" All due respect. She almost laughed at the poor kid. (( note:: Kami, while Lily doesn't care if he wears a dress, he will most likely be ridiculed in the setting, seeing as to how it's not Gaia it's Stonecrest XD so it would be better to either get it and alter it into a tunic, or choose something else for his sake XD ))

Umbra - bat and bird
Lily glanced at the Bird and the little bat. She liked it when creatures looked interested in the things that she had scrounged. Somehow it made her feel proud and useful... "Look over the whole table kid, " she almost smiled at the little bat. "Everything's for trade here, and you wont' know what I got unless you look. " And with that she shot the little bat a final wink before attending to another customer.

Scaramouche - Kitty kitty
"Some days I take anything, and other days I take almost nothing." She shrugged. "Really I have no use for the normal things, but I will trade for food, other clothing, things like your beads there, and pretty much anything that amuses me." ((Note:: if you decide to trade something that your cat is wearing it will be/can be edited off the image. in exchange for something else if you wanted ^_^ ))

Nikiana -shrew wifey
Lily was very aware of the shrew looking at the wares on the table, and was very aware of the fact that the little shrew was also ignoring her. She didn't really care for social matters so after locking eyes with the little beast once to make sure the shrew knew that Lily saw her, she went back to her other customers.

Le Franz

Lily gave the Wildcat a "G'day" in return for his Hello, but since he hadn't said anything else she decided to let him look over the wares on the table. She wasn't sure what it was he was looking at, but she knew he'd either find something he wanted and start up a conversation, or discover that there really wasn't anything here at the table for him.

Epra overheard the hedgehog and glanced up to see Gormen pointing to the shirt she held. After a moment, she placed it back down on the stump, near the male. She hadn't wanted it anyways and it seemed that no one was interested in the hat that she was wanting.

"I suppose you can have this..." she told Gormen, making it sound as if she was being kind and reluctant to give it up. Turning to Lily, she pointed to the fluffy white hat. "I guess I could take that off your hands, since no one else wants it."

The shrew pondered on what she could trade. Several others were offering meals and another was offering a song. Psh. She couldn't sing and her cooking was the source of most of Tuck's complaints. Perhaps she could trade Tuck for it? That was an amusing thought.

"Sure" Lily picked up the hat and handed it to the Shrew for inspection. "i'll take anything in trade for it that I told the others... food, clothings, amusement, yaddah yah." She glanced at the bat again for a moment. "The little ferret yip wants to trade me a song... so really, anything is possible."

Abeya glanced at the battered looking hedgehog warily, raising and eyebrow and nodding to him. She was beginning to feel hopeful, if a bit nervous about cooking for a stranger. “Oh…well…yes. I suppose that will work.” She frowned, having hoped that she could leave that day with the dress that she was falling so in love with. “That sounds fair. How often are you in Mossflower? Maybe I could have something ready and meet you here with it? That way you don‘t even have to go out of your way.” Was she sounding too desperate? She surely hoped not.

Gormen turned at looked at the shrew and nodded, knowing what she was trying to do. She was one shrewd shrew. “Ay, they’re big, but not yet smoked…caught fresh this morning…” He swung the fish from his shoulder and held them up to Lily. “The four of these can be stretched quite a ways, if you cook them just right.

"Yep." Lily held out a hand for the fish. "That'll do." She picked up the shirt in her other hand and held it out as an exchange. Then she glanced up at the mouse again. "I'm here when I'm here." She shrugged. "I make it a point to not be tied to a schedule just in case something interesting happens."

She shrugged again. "But I'll probably be here for a day or two if you were interested in meeting me here. I won't sell the dress to anyone else if you're worried about that."

Gormen handed the fish over to Lily, taking the shirt. He bowed slightly to Lily and Abeya as he backed away, quickly turning and making his way out of the hustle & bustle of the market.

Abeya nodded, putting her arm around Newt, “I can meet you back here with the meal tomorrow then, maybe…in this general area?” She smiled, pleased to know that, for now at least, the dress was set aside for her. She bit her lip, hoping the meal would be good enough to officially secure the dress.

The little ferret dragged his paws down his face until his lower eyelids sagged, he was so embarrassed. "N-no! Did I point to that girly thing? I meant that, of course." he said, pointing instead to a rather old-looking, hooded grey-green cloak grey-green cloak with a plastic clasp in the front that was shaped like a leaf. It was a bit tattered at the edges, but the size and the color of it were pleasing to the youngster. He was always looking for flashy stuff like that, and he'd been wanting a cape for some time. They were dramatic and looked pretty cool when you ran around in them.

"Of course I have a song for it! One just for you!" he said in a rather dramatic voice, and strummed his mandolin once, thinking for a moment before launching into a little tune.

"Lily, Lily, here you are,
Selling off stuff from near and far~
Everyone thinks you're a celebrity,
but you deny this very wittily~
You braved the wilds to find cool things
Lily, Lily you are the -king-...
and you make my heart sing~
Oh Lily~ "

The ferret sang his little song for the raccoon, obviously made up on the spot. He did a little dance in place as he strummed chords to accompany his singing, and for a youngster it wasn't too bad. It was simple, and he looked at the raccoon hopefully, batting his eyelashes once he'd finished.

((I know Kep, I mostly did it for the lol factor :B *jerk* Also, I know a couple other people were looking at items that weren't pictured, like abeya's dress. If I wasn't allowed I'll gladly change this.))

"Yeah..." Lily plucked up the cloak and fingered it for a second... feeling the material in her paws. Then she glared at the ferret almost comically and handed the thing over. "I'll expect you to remember that song if'n I ever see you again."

(( I don't mind you guys picking your own edits like this, but the whole purpose of this particular setting for edits was so that you could get almost cosplay like items... Like a smurf's hat and pants, or He-Man's chest straps, or a Barbie's dress XD .... These are things that Lily took off of toys behind a thrift shop. So While your cloak is fine, you could also make it be something more cosplay if you liked. ))

((I could? I think I will change it up then. I'm gonna edit my previous post, I just got a fun idea XD))

edit: ((alright, it's changed. ; w; i hope it's okay, heehee. And here's my response.))

"You bet your boots I'll remember. I remember all the songs I write!" he said with a smirk and a wink, taking the cloak as she handed it over. He would have to remember to play it each and every time they met, he thought to himself as he inspected the thing, thumbing over the clasp before swinging it around and putting it on. He couldn't help but grin, it was a very nice cloak.

(( Kami, just take him and his new cloak to the "Lists" subforum and post him in the "Keppit's Edit Awards" Thread. ... let me know if you want it edited into his current appearance or if you want him edited fresh, and if they're different, then I'd like to know which one you want on the cert ^_^ ))

Cecil swaggered through Mossflower, his chin high and his gut sucked in as best as he could get it. The slightly plump anole had a bit of an odd gait to his step, in part from his rather daring escape from the eagle that nearly made a meal of him, and his tail... Oh, his poor, poor tail. It had only just begun regrowing and he was more than a bit shamed to be seen as "incomplete." Tree knows if it'd ever grow back to it's former glory.

He highly doubted it would.

Still, as he strolled along, he did his best to keep a dignified look. It was often times a challenge when he was in the best of shape, but at least he was trying right? He wasn't completely lily-livered, and besides, Mossflower was safe. Not only was it safe, he was certain he could wrap his lips around a few stray wood-roaches while there. His attention was turned from food to the general hubbub around a raccoon, who seemed to have a few trinkets to barter off. Not being one to miss a deal of any sort, the currently green-tinted anole waltzed his way to the crowd, head held high. All he had on his being was a canteen of water and a sack of crunchy delectables to hold him over on his travels to there from Fleuve.

"H'oy, what we got 'ere, missy? S'lookin' like a right good selection, iffin' I does say so, m'self." He skimmed through with his focused, golden eyes. White hat, striped suit of some sort, a dress, nothing he was too terribly interested in, and then his eyes settled on something smashing. The hat and cravat weren't what he had come looking for, but he certainly liked them. They'd make him look stylish and tough, he just knew it. He'd look like a right terror, sleeping in "protecting" his native Fleuve in that get-up.

"Miss, what y'be interested in fer that yon hat, hm?"

Leandar pointed decidedly at the garment he was enamored by. "Is that hat over there for sale?" The wildcat had never encountered a hat that seemed for perfect for the place he resided in. The desert was infamous for sudden sandstorms, which the face mask could protect him from, in addition to the attached goggles. "You see I live in Hallowmarl, and these would be absolutely perfect," he said.

User ImageImogen spent most of her time in Woodhaven. It was true she had been to the mountains and she had also been to Fleuve, but the only place besides her home territory that she ventured to often was Mossflower. That was where she was now. She liked to browse the shops to see what other people made and look for ideas, but every now and then, when she had found more than enough food supplies for herself, she would make a journey to Mossflower in order to actually trade. She didn't get things for herself often, but today she hoped to.

She wasn't sure what she would get. Perhaps something to add to an invention or just something to put in her house to make it look a little nicer. She looked around at the different shops until she noticed a group of critters gathered around a small stump. Her curiosity forced her to move closer, as it often did, and she peeked past the other critters to see what it was they were all looking at.

Clothes. There was a raccoon standing there trading off clothes for things that were... a little different than what others might take. Imogen listened as a young ferret near by sang for the raccoon an obviously impromptu, but decent, song. When the song was finished, her attention turned back to the clothing. Her eyes scanned the items until she noticed a bit of orange peeking out from under a blue and yellow dress. Taking a step closer, she gently moved the dress aside to find another underneath. Well, sort of. It was an orange turtleneck sweater and a red pleated skirt, but the two were attached, so it worked like a dress. She wasn't a huge fan of red, but orange was one of her favorite colors. The other was green.

The excess berries and nuts that she had gathered were resting in a bag that she had put together from a leaf and set by her feet when she moved the dress. Her love for orange was overpowering her slight dislike for red, and she soon decided that she wanted the shirt/skirt... thing. She was fine with offering the berries and nuts, but she wasn't sure if it was enough and she had an idea. She had a container in her bag that she had made a while back from a walnut shell, a stick, some blades of grass, and tree sap. She hadn't yet found a use for it, but had been carrying it around in case she did. Now, she was thinking about offering it to the raccoon. She hadn't traded any of her inventions yet, mostly because many of the other vendors wouldn't take them, but maybe she would. She'd taken a song, so why not?

Imogen dug through her bag for the walnut shell container before waiting to get the raccoon's attention. She wasn't very experienced with these types of transactions, so once she had her attention, she went into her habit of speaking quickly and said, "I really like that orange shirt-skirt dress thing," pointing to it so that she knew which one, though it would probably be difficult to mistake it. "I have some berries and nuts," she lifted the leaf sack at her feet for a moment before setting it back down and continuing, "but I have this too. I made it from two halves of a walnut shell and it opens up." She untied the blades of grass that she had connected to the front and opened the container to show her as she said, "It took a while to figure out, but it's actually really easy. I just looped these blades of grass around a stick and stuck them to each half with sap, see?" Turning it around to show the stick at the back that worked as the henge of the container, she couldn't help but smile, but a moment later she worried if she was simply being a bother and quickly added, "You can have both if you want." Yeah, she wasn't good at this.

((Doll clothes, art from the show, and more art. If there are too many custom items, I can change it so that she wants the shorts instead. Also, sorry this post is so long. ;;; I wasn't paying attention to length as I wrote it. And I hope the walnut container thing is an okay 'invention' or whatever. The henge part of it is more the invention than the actual container. :T But yeah, hope that's okay. If not, I can change that too.))

Marcelline nodded. Jewelry, then, would the raccoon take today. She wasn't too keen to part with her beads- she'd gotten those from her parents- but her anklets, now those she was willing to trade away. After all, that's how she'd gotten them in the first place. "How 'bout these, then," the cat said, unsnapping the gold cuffs from her feet. "Fleuve design- they ratchet shut, meaning they'll fit a pretty wide variety of feet, ankles, necks, what have you. They're not too old, and they polish up right quick. And, what's most amusin' about them- " She paused to open up one of the anklets and show the raccoon. "There's light engraving inside and out, showin' what I think is a food fight. The rabbit who made 'em- he said he did it to commemorate something or other, he wasn't really clear. So, then. Fair swap?"
