With a smirk at Nyx, now roused from her own sleep, Mau slowly stood up as the all clear was given. He saw a woman exit first, and while she seemed eager to please, standing at attention, Mau was much less quickly to move. He took his sweet time climbing out and stretching once more before standing at attention. The agent's smile had thinned to a contemplative line as he thought of who was here with them, and the strengths and weaknesses they all brought with them.

Idly, a thumb traced over his belt. 6 balls. His companions, and companions in training as the case was with a few. But a mission was, he hoped, a good way to get his team to behave even just a little bit better.

Alexander watched as the island slowly got 'bigger' as they got closer before they landed. He unstrapped and grabbed his gear to be ready to leave the chopper when one of the others with him on the mission jumped out before they fully landed. He winced in sympathy at the landing and got out as quickly as he could when it was fully landed. "Are you alright?" he asked the other Rocket. He could see the tears in his eyes and hoped he hadn't managed to hurt his self badly already.

Rocket Agent Faleen

Faleen grinned softly back at Will when he was woken, rising to her own feet when the chopper had landed and they were given the okay to start filing out.
"Good to see, you ready for this?"
It pleased her that he was on a mission again, it would be a good opportunity for him to gain more experience as a Rocket.
She hadn't been sure if she would be able to make this mission herself, considering her condition after the volcano, but she had recovered well, and was ready to get back out there for the next task for Rocket.

She took a moment once she stood to run her fingers over her pokeballs, making sure her entire team was present, and gather any of her other tools and belongings she would need on the mission.
It was then that she noticed that Will hadn't been the only one to fall asleep on the way toward the island, a few others, including Nyx was laying against the Agent she knew as Mau, clearly asleep as well, untill the man gently woke her up.
"Was a soothing ride I suppose" she commented to the Agent and Will with an amused smile, before making her way to the exit and hopping out.

"Ah- And long, yes." The agent chuckled at Faleen's comment. Nyx didn't have a chance to say anything before Liam, apparently too excited to wait for the helicopter to land completely, jettisoned himself from the vehicle. "Wha- Liam!" She sounded less worried and more indignant; It was too early for these sorts of shenanigans.

She exited soon after Mau, eager to stretch her legs and get going with the mission. Whatever it was, she hoped that Galactic wouldn't show up; luckily the police definitely wouldn't be, which nullified the chance of gun-shot wounds that tended to accumulate on number of their pass missions. She saw that, thankfully, Liam was unharmed from his drop. "You really should wait until we land to exit the vehicle, Liam."

Lucas eyed the enthusiastic kid as he jumped out a bit too soon, an eyebrow raised at the clumsy display. He removed himself from the helicopter alongside the others, falling into line to await further instruction. Merry would be his most valuable companion, Snow and Fetch acting as good back-ups. Liselle would be best kept away from danger, and Droid was so unreliable that he had been left at the base. For anything else, he had confidence in his own skills as a former assassin, as much as he hated that part of himself. An interesting day indeed.

Claire smiled at Isadora again and patted her shoulder reassuringly. The psychologist still looked at least a bit unsure and nervous. "Don't worry, you'll do fine, I'm sure."

After some people started exiting she hopped out of the helicopter as well, and despite everything she was excited. Even with the possibility of Galactic hovering over her, it didn't bother her nearly as much as it had before. Once on the ground she joined the others, standing at attention and awaiting orders.

Rocket Grunt Kofuku

Kofuku stepped out with shaking legs from the helicopter and onto the soft ground of the island. Nervous was a great way to describe how she was feeling at the moment. Between the fact that she'd never been on an aircraft (or a bird pokemon for that matter) and the knowledge of how packed the infermary was after each group mission, it was no question as to why she was on edge.

All through the ride, she picked at the hem of her shirt and wriggled her toes in her shoes while chewing the inside of her cheek, praying that nothing went wrong with the engine and they didn't crash in a firey ball of burning flesh and metal. When she wasn't busy worrying about their decent, she was busy trying not to throw up on anyone because apparently she got air sick.

Solid ground under her feet, Fuku felt better about where things were going, sure she was still nervous, but being on solid ground definately made it all that less bad. Dressed in simple Grunt atire, Kofuku was sporting a little extra bagage to her waist area; on her belt she had her pokeballs clipped to them on her left hip, and on her right hip was a decent sized pouch containing medical supplies for if and when the s**t hit the fan. The good Doctor had been nice enough to let her take some local anesthetic with her as well as a few rolls of bandages, sports tape, tweezers, and a travel-size bottle filled with rubbing alcohol. As she rubbed her hands together, Kofuku looked around, spying faces she recognized and forcing her legs to stop wobbling as she made her way over to Faleen.

"Hey." She said quietly, still feeling her stomach uneasy.

Once the engine to the helicopter had died down completely, Seth exited the helicopter. His blue eyes rolling as he noticed Liam on the ground, clutching his knee. Why was he here again? Anyway, he wasn't going to wait on the bumbling idiot to recover before launching into his pre-mission speech.

Will gave Faleen a nod. "Ready as I'll ever be."

However, as all the grunts and agents filed out, they would notice a gaping hole within the rock. The gurgling of and rushing of tidal waters being heard within its depths.

"Listen up!" Seth barked as he came to stand near the edge of the cavernous opening. "Each of you needs a supply pack. There is a list inside each one, make sure to double check that everything you need is inside. We will be descending into this cave, where we believe to find Kyogre. If you're claustrophobic or have a fear of heights... Get over it. This will be a dangerous mission and I expect each of you to be on constant guard."

They all should have been trained basic climbing and such in basic training, so he at least wasn't worried about that. Although Liam's clumsiness was a bit disconcerting. "And if you fall into a pit, don't expect me to come after you. The objective is to find and capture Kyogre. This is a tidal cave, and right now its at low tide. We need to get in and out as quickly as possible before the cave fills up with water. Straggling isn't an option, unless you want to drown. If there isn't any questions, then proceed into the cave."

The elite then turned and pulled a small hammer and stake out of his pack. Proceeding to drive the stake into the rock in order to attach a rope to descend with.

Rocket Agent Faleen

That was one mistake that Liam would probably learn from, and for his sake on this mission she hoped so.

Standing at attention when Seth began to speak to them on what they would need to know for this mission, she glanced over at the hole a couple of times as he did so.
Underground again, and with a time limit... this was going to be interesting.

When he was finished, Faleen did as she was instructed, taking a moment to go through the pack of supplies to make sure everything was accounted for. Glancing up when she heard a "hey" and saw Kofuku standing there.
"Hi Kofuku," she greeted in return, standing back up with the bag slinging around her shoulders, and clipping it into place around her waist and shoulders."Nice day for cave diving, don't you think" she said with a small grin, getting what she needed ready for the decent.

"Well, I uh... I... thought it had landed? I mean, I felt us touch the ground and everything... Agent Nyx, ma'am..." He was still smiling, but the smile faded when Seth glanced (or more likely glared) in his direction. So, maybe he was a bit of a 'screw-up' but he was a Johto kid and Johto kids were tough! He had been swimming in the Olivine Sea for years and had climbed more trees than most people in Camphoreon had ever seen! Not to mention Miltank wrestling... Well, that one was mostly just fun.
Still, he was determined and willing to toss himself into this... hole in the ground, especially since it was a direct order. From his back he pulled the sack he had been given and checked off the each item one by one, placing them gently into neat lines. No need to rush himself and realize later he was short a flare or a line of rope...

As always, the site of Seth mad Kofuku's stomach flip-flop; the Elite Agent was as scary as always. Listening carefully to his orders, she watched Faleen retrieve her pack, then gave a weak smile to her friend. "As long as we're not going back into that chopper... It's official: I don't like flying." Giving Faleen more of a grimace than a grin, she went and got her own pack.

After combing through it carefully, making sure everything was actually in it, Kofuku swung it over onto her back and pulled her hair out from where it was pinned between her back and the pack. "So have you ever done anything like this before?"
PostPosted: Fri Feb 25, 2011 8:20 pm

Isadora nodded at the instructions given to them and retrieved her own pack, opening it and looking inside to make sure all items were accounted for. After digging through the pack's contents, she pulled out the mentioned list and glanced it over. All items appeared to be accounted for in her own pack, and so she gathered her things and walked back over to Claire and Lucas.

"So, ahre you guys readeh?" Isa gave another nervous little smile. She wasn't terribly sure that she was ready to venture into the dark abyssal hole that was their mission objective, but she did not have much of a choice either way, so down the hole she was to go.

Alexander had turned to look at Seth when he had started to give out the instructions and his face had gone white when he heard were they were going. Going down in there? How high was it? He forced his self to not show that his hands had started to shake at the though of being high up with only a rope and harness holding him up. It was not the same as the chopper because of him having kept his mind off just how high they had been.

He double checked his equipment as he calmed his self down. Maybe the way down wouldn't be as high as he was thinking it might be. After all if would not do to freak out on his first mission, especially with people higher on the food chain then he his self was.

The dark blond gave a small grin when Kofuku made mention about not liking the helicopter, Faleen herself was quite enjoying the machine, the trip had been very delightful to her.
But as she wasn't quite comfortable with flying on Pokemon (Something that was quickly being worked on thanks to Agent Nyx) some people just weren't comfortable in machines... goodness knew why.

"I have, last mission, in a volcano." she answered, while she tested the strength of her spike, before getting to work on stringing the rope through it, then began to start putting the harness on over her uniform.
She glanced over at Kofuku while she tightened the straps "It'll be much nicer descending knowing that there isn't any Lava below." she added with a grin.
Descending was dangerous in itself, a fall, regardless of what was at the bottom, would not be a good thing.

When Seth had finished his instructions, which Claire listened to with careful attention, she knelt down on the smooth rock and lowered her bag to the ground, quickly finding the list and pulling it out. Violet eyes quickly scanned it once, then a second time, before she opened the pack and began checking its contents to make sure they were all there. The task took hardly any time at all and she was quickly back on her feet, listening to Isadora as she swung the bag onto her back and secured it there.

"Of course," she replied without missing a beat, sparing a moment to tie her long hair back into a bun to keep it out of her face. She didn't need to have to worry about it getting in the way at the wrong moment. "Are you?" She asked of them both, looking from Isadora to Lucas.
