Journal Entry:

Allura was sitting in her ship. It was nighttime and she had recieved a letter from her friend Melissa about a child she wanted to give her. Due to she could no longer care for her. So Allura was heading into port to pick up the child. Her cousin had told her the child was different then normal but very sweet. Hearing the word different did not bother Allura in the least cause she was different herself then most people. It was rare for a person to be born normal in her family line and history of her family.

Allura had stayed up thinking over the letter. It said eventually she would have to meet up with lab technicitous and other people. She wasnt sure what she would be like with them. She would not let anyone order her around or tell her how to raise a child.The whole situation was a mess but Allura was not the type to leave someone alone. As she noticed the time Allura got up and thought it was time to try and get sleep before they reached port to pick up the child. It was then the bell rang to signal that port was going to reach.

Allura awoke and got dressed up then started ordering her crew into place. It was then they saw the port and she noticed Melissa off by her car in her favorite red dress a golden hair child by her holding on to her hand. The child is different but she seems to have something speacial to her. Allura thought and yelled to the crew "Haul to starboard side and step on it make sure the ramp is ready." She said ordering the crew around and watching as they were just pulling up to the dock it was then she steped down from the top rail to greet her cousin.

As she approached Allura give a light curtsy and talked over the child it was then Melissa said "Hello dear cousin you seem in brighter spirits. I am glad you excepted my requeast from my letter. This here is Valerie your new daughter and a very good sweetheart." Allura eyed the child in her purple and pink flower dress. It was very pretty and she looked like quite a young lady. Allura bent down and smiled to the child. "My name is Allura i am your new mommy i hope we can become good friends." She said and looked at Melissa as she heard a cough. "I have to get going but thank you again and i think you will be surprised with how well you and Valerie will do together." She said and that was when she left. Valerie then grabbed on to Allura and the two returned to the ship. As Allura got Valerie settled she left for the night to her room and pulled out a journal she had of her speacial moments and wrote in it.

Dear Journal:
It seems my cousin has left me a gift. Or should i say she could not be a parent she felt best for a child so she asked me to take over as the childs mother. The child's name is Valerie it seems shes a bueatifull little toddler born with golden skin a tail and bat like wings. She has heart shaped jewels on her tail and her forhead. Shes a very sweet girl and seems to be very smart. I notice shes a patienct thinker maybe it is part of her genetics. But even though i am angry at my cousin for leaveing her in my care. I do have one thing i agree with what my cousin said it does seem we need each other. I forsee Valerie becomeing a wonderfull daughter and look forward to her future and our time together. That is all my journal tell the next time i right thank you for keeping these memories content for me.

Allura looked at the journal entry happy with it and turned to her bed. Where Valerie was laying for her first night Allura had let her so they could bond. It was then she turned off the light and headed to start sleeping as well the day and future looking bright.
