Semmy assessed him warily, he didn't seem to be lying. But his scales were the same luscious and molten colour of gold. Could there really be a way to imitate the coveted colour so exactly and not be the think itself? "Howssssss?"

"Bornssss ofsssss gold?" She looked at the shiny coat. It didn't smell like gold, but it was undeniable gold-like. Probably valuable. What if she bit it? Would it bend like gold.
She reached out her long teeth and tried to rake it across them, not to bite, but to taste to see if it scrapped.
