Regardless Sapp still backed down cause he was scared to lose to Tyson. Listen isn't a skilled fighter, he's just a freakshow. The only reason he wins is cause of his power, I mean at least Mirko Cro Cop showed him what real skill looked like.

On a more important note....

Chuck Liddell defended his title and Randy Couture retired!

It was bitter sweet. Seeing Chuck win was great, but Randy retiring was sad. Randy even cried. He was in the locker room, they zoomed in, Randy gave the camera a smile, winked and shed a tear. Just amazing...

Randy Coulture is one of my favorites. I saw his first UFC fight and have been a fan ever since. He'll go on to commentateing or just training, but he'll be around. Truly a great competitor.

As for Tyson versus Sapp. Back in his hayday, I have no doubt that Tyson would be able to take Sapp. Now, I'm not so sure.

As my sensei says, the worst person to have to fight would probably be a boxer with grappling training. Boxing does give you an incredible ability to absorb damage, and if you add grappling skill to that, you get an incredible fighter.

My view on mixed styles is this if you look most fighting styles have things that were added later on. Some of these styles go by new names because of it I train in Wing Chun from what I have read about its history it is made up of at least five systems of kung fu. A martial artist should continue to learn more and try to become as complete a fighter as posible this often means learning techniques from styles that are not the same I have been looking at some of what the military teaches to find new methods to quikly deal with a sirius confrontation. Learning a style is ok if thats as far as you realy want to go but to me you need to try to find the most efective way to deal with any thing that may hapen I plan to train in Jujutsu and mix it with what I know.

In the end if mixing martial arts is wrong why do we have all of these difrent styles I dout people just started from scratch.
