I still have to find a good yarn to make D20 dice bags with as those were promised to people last Christmas...

I use leftover sock yarn, but sometimes they are kind of flimsy.

@Caustic: I was looking for a smooth DK weight yarn, but I might change the pattern again, work it up in worsted weight wool, and felt it for sturdiness.
@Love to Paint: I've been using that too for my regular dice bags, but the ones I'm working on right now are shaped like D20's, hehe. I'm modifying needlenoodles stuffed D20, but the first one I worked up was too big (worsted weight acrylic) and didn't hold shape well. So I was thinking a wool DK weight, as that would be a good size. But then I figured, if I felt it, it will shrink and be sturdier, so I'm working on a prototype right now to see if it WILL work.

Thanks. ^_^ I'm using the needlenoodles D20 dice pattern, it's meant to be stuffed but should be easy enough to modify for my purposes. Needlenoodles is the ravelry name of the person who did the Creepy Cute Crochet book, which totally rocks btw. *grin*

So this thread is totally going differently than what I planned. *sheepish grin* Do you all still want to try for prizes, or should I close it down and think of something else?
