"Deal!"
She said happily, tossing her water jug at the girl, ignoring her remark of being rude to accept it, as she skipped her way to the body, pulling out the dagger from her bag.
She felt slightly bad that all she could offer was a corpse for a meal, but it was better than starving for 3 more days, and she promised herself she would thoroughly cook the meat for better taste.
She cut out the upper arm of the other limb and carved the skin off of that, while grabbing her pan out of her bag once more.
the fire was still going luckily, though not for long, so she put the pan down to grab more of the billboard and tossed it into the fire for it to set ablaze again.
she grabbed the pan and her dagger and went to the fire as she began to cook yet another dish. She ended up humming once more, even more happily now that she actually had company. As she thought about the girl she looked up towards where she was and waved her over by the fire. It is not fun being by a fire on a hot day, but it was near-evening anyways, and the nights are so much better.

"Deal..?" She said in surprise of the girl tossing her the jug. She caught it and looked at it, feeling the coolness of the water outside of the jug, she unscrewed the top of the jug and looked at the water with relief, before sipping it slightly, not wanting to seem greedy. Normally she'd take the entire jug, but she seemed odd towards the girl. She felt a trust or friendship for this woman. She had only finished a slightly bit of water, removing the jug from her lips, licking them afterwards, and let out a heavy sigh of relief for finally having water in her system, and now feeling much more refreshed from even just a little water, she felt her strength come back to her quickly. She sniffed the air, not even noticing the girl had started a fire. She sniffed in the pleasant smell of cooking meat, not really thinking of the fact it was human flesh. She needed to make due, or go longer without food and possibly die. She looked up at the girl and saw her wave her hand to come over. She got up, wobbling a bit from the lack of food and energy still, and walked over slowly. She rubbed her shoulders with unpleasantness, as her arms seeming to be getting the most heat. She got down on her knees, looking into the fire as the meat cooked. She then looked at the suns position, smiling slightly that night would be approaching soon. Her body needed to feel cool air, or thats what she thought at least.

She smiled as the girl came over after feeling very refreshed from the water, though she did not take a whole lot of it. That showed she was very self controlled and civilized indeed.

"I'm Jade by the way." She said as she was still watching the meat sizzle, realizing they had not introduced themselves to each other.
She tossed the chunk of meat in the air and then caught it with the pan, noting that it was well done.
she kept the cover on the handle of the pan and put the pan in front of the girl, going in her bag and grabbing at the two sticks and stabbed them in the sides of the meat. She gave the meat to the girl, and, in case she did not want to eat it completely wild like she does with the sticks, she put the dagger next to the pan.

"Here you go." She said softly, then she pointed up at the air, as if an old-fashioned lightbulb had appeared lit above her head, and she rummaged through her pockets in her tanned, stained, striped shirt.
she pulled out a small plastic bag and gave it to the girl.

"It's Salt. It helps with the flavoring a lil. Especially if you dont usually eat like this." She said, then pointed at it with a small and short story. " I almost never use it, only on occasions where I am forced to eat something, unpleasant." She shuddered at the one time she remembered having to use the salt.

She looked at the girl smiling, wondering why. She looked at the waterjug still in her hand and put it on the ground, next to the cannibal woman. As she set it down, she heard the girl say her name. She looked at her, smiling slightly, waving at her. "Pleased to meet you. I am Divaina. But you can call me Divai if you like. You know, for short." She then looked at the meat sizzle and licked her lips, thinking this wasn't so bad afterall. Meat is meat, so she didn't have much of a problem with it much anymore. She watched the meat flip into the air and land on the pan, and chuckled as if amused. She rubbed her hands together with excitement about having a fresh meal. She smiled when the girl 'Jade' had handed her the meat and put the sticks in it. She flinched a bit when the girl pointed into the air, a bit confused, slightly tilting her head. She saw the girl take the plastic bag out, and looked at it before taking it into her hand. "..Salt?" She questioned. "I know what salt is. I'm surprised you have this. I haven't tasted flavored meat in a long time. And I love to eat food with spices.." She began to eat the meat slowly and properly. Once she had swallowed her first bite, she looked up at her. " Heh. I think you should use it more. It makes all meals delicious, in my opinion." She continued to contently nibble at the meat, finishing it all off in a couple minutes.

He walked along groggily on what was left of the battered and broken road. Taking a few jumps here and there to dodge sinkholes. "Damn it all to hell" He muttered as the road broke off to a cliff. With that he pulled out his hook and rope, began the descent, and hoped to god he didn't drop any of his precious cargo. It was Xiphentus Dust, used to purify water. His swords lined his jacket, and he was eager to use them again. The last pack of dogs had been formidable, but nothing compared to him. He was the last of his kind, and wasn't about to die from some mutts. As he continued his descent into the unknown, he wondered but lay ahead of him. But fear did he not. There was nothing that could scare him.

Jade nodded her head as she learned her new companions name. Divaina... How awesome. She said, watching her eat the food with the added slight spice.

"It is surprising seeing a cannibal eating in this way. normally you'd see a bunch of filthy people running around with broken bones and scars all over them, devouring each other." She paused, her small reference reminding her of her father..
but she looked back up and smiled very slightly.

"...But I dont live that way. In fact, I dont exactly consider myself a Cannibal at all. More like.. just a survivor. But titles mean nothing, especially in our 'paradise." She said smiling as she took a small sip from the water jug, the heat from the fire giving her a bit of sweat on her forehead.
then Divai mentioned about having salt on lots of things, and she nodded in agreement with the statement.

"Oh I agree with that. Salt does make it taste a lot better. The only problem is that There isnt a lot of Salt to dine with. i only use it on more major occasions." She said and thought for a second, then she shrugged.
"Sides, with all that salt you tend to get very thirsty, and that not only wastes the salt, but the water at the same time."
She liked this girl. She felt very proud that she could help somebody out in a situation like this. Although, there was something about the girl that was.. different; Not that she was any better.

She bit off the last piece of meat, narrowing her only available eye to her, and watched her nod. "..Mhm. When I came here I didn't expect to see anyone here, or at least.. No one that had a sense of mind." She reached into her own pocket, pulling out a tissue, wrapping the bone inside it carefully. "If you're wondering. I will make a good weapon out of the bone later. I just need a carving device." She said as she looked at the girl, noticing she had paused, but then noticing a smile across her lips afterwards. "I understand your reason for eating what you can. You have to do what you can to survive in this baron land." She sighed lightly, moving her head, looking at the ground as her eye softened, but after hearing the salt remark, she quickly turned her head back to her, looking at her. " Mmm.. In this world, I guess you can't always have what you want when you want it. Something precious should be saved as much as possible." She said as her eyes widened and softened again, as it reminded it of her past, her real mother. She than quickly shoot her head side to side and looked at the girl, smiling at her. From the corner of her eye, she saw someone or something hanging off of the cliff where a road had ended. She got up, wobbling a bit, fiddling with her gun. She put her left hand fingers on the metal plating, walking forward, passing the girl Jade a bit to get a closer look. Opening the plates and her mechanical eye was visible. Like a camera, it zoomed up to what was climbing down. She saw it as a human, but for safety precautions, she slowly raised her gun, and shot two bullets at what seemed to be a rope that the male was hanging on to.

He winced as he progressed down, then heard a 'clink' noise. "What the ********..?' he grumbled. Another tink was heard and the rope went with it. Sprawling to regain his ground, his leg jarred against the cliff and his sleeve was torn as he fell. His hands moved to the zippers and quickly shut them and tucked himself in as he fell. His grunts and moans could be heard barely. His neck was whipped violently to one side as he skidded to a halt. He snapped his dislocated neck back into place and stretched it, trying it out. He then walked persistently in the direction of the gunfire. He was determined to see what, or who, shot him down from his decent. He doesn't mean any harm, but this could become messy. Not being himself altogether, one of his most priceless items was laying in the mixture behind him. A bright red jewel.

Before Jade could even remark about what she said, Divai quickly got up, holding a gun in her hand, walking past her.
Jade grabbed at her dagger quickly, in case she would randomly attack, but instead aimed the gun at a cliff from the distance.
Woah! What did she do that for? she though as she looked in the same direction, then , very very faintly, she heard a slight thud and she blinked.

"No way!" She said her jaw opened. Amazing how she was able to shoot from so far off... Maybe there really was something about her.
"What did you shoot?" She asked, grabbing her things and shoving them back in her bag as she wanted to see what Divai had shot down. when she finished packing what she had, she darted in the direction where Divai shot at, seeing a slight cloud of dust and smoke form the edge of what seemed like a cliff.
Her smile grew as she kept her pace well.
This day just keeps getting better and better

She heard a thud, so she knew the being wasn't all skin and bones. After she shot, she put the head of her gun to her chin, slightly toying with the trigger of it. A dangerous act, but it seemed not to phase her in the slightest. She looked over to the girl "No way?" She question, acting like nothing special had happened. "It's simple aiming dear." She dropped her hand with the gun in it, to her side and patted a tune on her leg, seemingly a clanking noise could be heard like if metal was hitting metal. She than looked over at the girl after she asked what she shot. "Not sure, I think It was a hu-" she stopped as the girl finished shoving things in her bag and ran off. She flinched, shoving her gun into her pocket roughly, seemingly not having care if it went off on her leg. She quickly began to run after her, saying "Jade! wait! It could be dangerous!" She said then flinched wondering why she, Divaina cared for someone else. She shook her head and continued to run as she saw a smoke cloud from it seemed like someone had fallen, and saw a slight sparkle from what could be a jewel of somesort. A big grin went across her face as she turned her attention to that, and continued towards the cloud of smoke, thinking to herself: Jackpot...

There were people. And these people didn't look too friendly by the looks of it. To have aim that good, one would have to be a robot. Or a ******** sniper. 'Screw this day' He said with a yawn and continued on towards them, one hand was on his katana. His steps were hurried, but he still limped slightly. The fall was dangerous, that was for sure. Somehow he ended up better than he thought he would. One of the people seemed to smile, the other looking mischevious. Before he knew it one was running towards him and the other moseying along as if nothing had happened at all. That was probably his shooter.

She could see from the distance as she drew closer towards the cliff that there was a human figure, and it was walking towards her. Her heartbeat went faster seeing yet another person, something shiny behind it, it seemed.
She then picked up her pace and ran as fast as she could until she could see it was a man drenched in all black that seemed to flip and shake in the wind.

"No way!" she said in both amazement and in confusion. Why would he be wearing all that in the hot sun? She thought to herself. from the looks of his appearence, he seemed a bit more civilized than anyone she's seen, as odd as his wardrobe was.
To be on the safe side though, she kept her dagger held tightly in her hand, though not in a manner where she seemed threatening to the man.
She waved at him, being in plain sight and maybe 10 feet away from him.

"Hi there! Quite a fall you took from all the way up there!" She said pointing at the cliff behind him. She hadnt realized what she had done until she was already done speaking. Running headfirst to a man that had just been shot down, and even knowing about the fall.
She took a step back, on her guard, just in case he thought her his sniper, and yet at the same time tilted her head; she could still see that shimmer at the bottom of the cliff that was behind him. It sparkled a pretty red, and she felt an "Ooooo" pass her lips softly, though it could not have been heard normally by anyone.

She kept running behind Jade, as the grin from earlier was still across her lips. She then looked straight ahead instead of behind the cloud at the shining object, at the walking being towards Jade. She reached into her pocket, grasping her gun tightly just in case she had to fight this new being she was about to encounter, and she had an odd urge to protect this girl Jade, although she still didnt understand herself why she did. She got closer to the being, seeing his clothing made her confused on why anyone would want to wear something to hot out in this heat. She stopped directly behind Jade once she was only 10 feet away from him. She slapped her own face with her palm and shook her head once she waved, thinking to herself: 'A bit dangerous.. Don't you think..?', she thought as she waved at this possible enemy. She raised her head when she pointed towards the cliff, looking up at it. Divaina shook her head once again and smirked as she found how obvious Jade was being to this stranger. She still had her hand tight around her gun, but tried not to make it obvious. Being behind Jade and the man probably was paying more attention to Jade, she opened the metal plating on her mechanical eye and looked forward, to what seemed to be a bright red jewel. The big grin returned to her face as she crouched down, and lunged upwards, jumping higher than a normal humans legs could take them, flipping upside down, and landing on the new beings shoulders with her hands, and caught eye contact with him right before flipping back into the air and landed on her feet, bended over, picking up the shiny jewel, got up and held it up as it sparkled in the sun, as if she forgot the other two were standing there

He turned around sharply as he glared at the object in her hand and his hand clenched around his sword, the other hand hurredly swiping into his pocket to find the treasured object gone. It was in her hands and he felt foolish to have not spotted it. "Give it back." He immediately said with an undertone indicating violent behaviors. He wanted that jewel back and he wanted it back now; It was al he had to remember of his mother. She was an elegant woman, around the age of 30 and she died of starvation trying to feed her husband and him. As his hand got tighter around the sword, he noted her movements. "I suggest you act swiftly woman, I don't want a mess" He held out his hand and patiently waited for her response.

Jade's eyes blinked twice as she had just seen Divai do a handful of flips and appeared behind the guy, holding a pretty and shiny object in her hand.
Her head turned to the guy as he had seemed to almost threaten her for such a small thing. She was unsure of her position of where to stand. She had just met these two; Divai obviously a little bit more than the man, but not by much.
She held out her dagger and positioned herself, She kept on her own little side perse', and if either one of them would come for her after a possible brawl between the two; she would be ready.

"Why is that thing so important to you?" She asked, looking at the red object in Divai's hand.
And why does she want it..? she thought to herself at the same time.
