"I'm sure that won't be a problem," Malodore said, firmly. It sidled up next to Calder and offered one shoulder, doing its best to tilt its back-blades away from the kelpie. "Try not to put the entirety of your weight on me - my bones are a bit fragile themselves," it warned.

Calder gave a chuckle at the idea of a creature of bones and blades being fragile, but he guessed you had to be made of a bit more to be strong. Doctors. They certainly weren't the heavy lifting type, but he could say that about a lot of people here. In fact, he knew few students who could probably do some of the labor he could and probably never had. "Seems a lot of people here are made of fragile stuff. Maybe being here is making me soft." he said with a half-smile, adding most of his weight to his good, sturdy leg and using Malodore more as a living cane than another leg. "Probably would be better using a twig than you." He said with a grin, giving the Plague Doctor a hearty smack to the shoulder before taking a hold of it, being mindful of the spike on his shoulder. The guy was fragile but he was all thorns and blades.
Sighing, he looked out and frowned. "Well, away we go then." As far as Malodore went, he didn't mind doctors. It was nurses he didn't like.
