♥ ♥ ♥ Hearing about the festival in town, Amanda brought her two dogs with her to the field. Knowing only one could enter, she planned on entering Jet but she needed Abby's help in cheering him on. Seeing the variety of animals around the field made her smile, it meant that there were many more people on the island with pets then she had originally assumed. Picking her way carefully across the field in her printed Tom's, it felt good to have the sunshine on her slightly tanned legs but she was realizing that maybe the shorts she had pulled on that morning might have been a tad too short. Oh well, nothing to do now. As Jet and Abby scented the variety of animals in the field Amanda shifted her sunglass hidden eyes all around looking for a few familiar faces. In her search she noticed a rather large cat pin someone down. Making sure she had the two dogs leashes firmly in her grasp she grabbed her camera and snapped a few long distance shots. Slowly she put the camera back into her bag and picked her way across the field towards Crimson and Celeste. Getting closer to the pair she briefly wondered if she was interrupting something between the two.then seing someone else join them she decided to go over and introduce herself at least to the stranger. Might as well go say hello right? It would be rude otherwise. Besides if it get's akward then I can excuse myself. Smiling she walked over and quietly told her two dogs to sit. "Hullo there all. Celeste is that a ferret you have in tow? He's absolutly adorable. Crimson your dogs lovely as well. Who knew you had a dog." Smiling cheerfully she rested her hands on the top of each dogs head, petting them both.

♬ Rhapsody Skysong ♫ ll Donnasll Outfit 13lll  Rhapsody had heard the animal festival was in town so she had to go with Donnas. Her eyes were alight with excitement as she watched the gorgeous animals being brought along with their owners. She spotted Crimson with his beloved dog and waved before tugging on the halter and led Donnas over to register. Rhapsody began wiriting down everything they asked of while Donnas watched the animals passing by him.He let his warm eyes go over to the livestock and spotted a very round horse in there, to him it was obvious that the horse was over-fed, but well loved.
After Rhapsody registered Donnas she clicked her tounge to get his attention then began leading him over to his stall. The stall door opened and she led Donnas inside and got him comfortable " You behave yourself and have fun" Rhapsody whispered to him while scratching his neck then departing. She hated leaving Donnas behind but knew he could manage without her.In the meantime Rhapsody wanted to see all the animals that had arrived.

Reinbach turned his head in order to look directly at Crimson, with a slight confusing. He then brought his face closer. Very, very, very closer. So close! Their nose were touching. Reinbach then moved back, flailing his hand in front of Crimson's face in disgust. "Why is a peasant such as you talking to a human such a me? You should only respond when we talk to you, peasant. Didn't nobody raise you? Are you a poor peasant orphan? Ah, such a sad, sad story. Now, if you please, go away. You smell." Such insolence for someone so low as that man talking to him! Only human beings and Gods could speak to Reinbach. Everybody else should just stay in their corner and polish his shoes! Oh, wait. That would make them servants, not peasants... ah, same thing, same thing.
He then returned to the dog Rally, pushing that vile female out of the way! Shoo Amanda, shoo! Touching the canine beauty incarnated! What was she thinking? Ah, so beautiful! Such grace! He put a knee down and took one of her paw, like a man who would ask his girlfriend to wed him. "I am sorry for that disturbance, my beautiful canine! My beautiful.... Petit Paté!. Yes, this is your new name! Ah, to be reborn among Gods, Petit Paté!" He then proceed to give a hug to the dog as he... was crying. Ah, yes. Reinbach was quite the emotional man when it came to beauty. After a moment, when he was finally done weeping, he stood up and... finally noticed Crimson. Yeah, before it was just one of the many peasants walking around, but now, he actually saw him. He looked at him with suspicion. Somethign was wrong. He got closer... and closer... so close! Their noses were almost touching, again! But this time, He grabbed Crimson's hair into his hands and pull on them. No, not that hard, mind you, but still strong!
He then proceeded to lift the hair in every direction and look at it under every angles. "Ah! Such Genius!", he exclaimed. I would have never thought! But, truly, magnificent! You took the hair of Petit Paté to make yourself a wig in order to look just like him!" Yes, Rally, or rather, Petit Paté, was a male. For only a male could achieve that rank in beauty. "I, too, shall do like you! I shall hunt for the purest, beautifulest animal on the island and skin them in order to make myself clothes of perfect beauty! Ah! Thankyou! Thankyou! I would have never thought though of that without you!" He then gave two large kisses on both of Crimson's cheeks. The man should consider himself lucky! No one in five years had gotten such an honour! "You and Petit Paté are now invited to the Sonata Mansion, next Saturday! You come, or else we're sending the wolfhound after you!" That much was true...

Judith, of course, laugh at Mao. Ah! He couldn't even stand straight when a cat jumped on him. Such a pathetic man. A mediocrity! She rolled her eyes, not wasting a moment longer of her precious time mocking the man. She snapped her finger on her right hand and Florence came back to her like a well trained animal. She petted the black panther's head before putting the leash back on. It was an annoyance for both of them, but, eh. Stupid rules. On that, she walked away from the man. No need to stay any longer. He had probbaly peed on himself... or worst. Florence gave one last look behind her, laughing at the man... well, as much laugh as a panther could, and then looked up to where Newt was and licked her lips. One day kitty cat, one day.....

It was about time for the festival to begin. Well, the contest part of it. Gladice, like always, walked to the microphone in order to announce, well, what she had to announce. "Good day everyone! The animal register for the various contest. Since only one bird was register, Lac Virginite Wins by default. We will now start the Live Stock one, followed by the pet. he result will be revealed at the end. Thank you and have a good day!" Hey, at least she wouldn't have to tell what bird was more pretty than the other.

Of course, Reinbach was very happy about that news! Obviously, after seeing his Lac Virginite, no one had wanted to participate! The Peacock was simply that marvellous."Ah! Bravo! Bavissimo! Ah, My Lac Virginite Won!" He was so happy, the he shed a single tear, whipping it with the revert of his right hand.

Ah! Of course his precious Lac Virginite had won, and he was expecting just as much fom Napolon whit stead! They were judge on heath and beauty? Ah! Napoleon was as beautiful as could! Napoleon was as healthy as could! He made sure that his horses was always well feed and didn't have to do any extra efforts that would get him tired! He was a king among horses! Just look at him parading! Could anyone be better than him? He doubted that! Ah, Napoleoon! ~

♬ Rhapsody Skysong ♫ ll Donnasll Outfit 13lll Rhapsody was not suprised that the exotic bird won. After all he was the only peacock on the island as far as she could tell. Hearing they were going to start on livestock she went to the stall Donnas was staying in and got him out. Apparently someone had groomed the horse since he looked healthy and lively as ever.This was her first competiton so she was not going to be too hard on Donnas. After all she was the owner so Rhapsody would take the blame. But the point here was to have fun.

Huh? It was the livestock contest already? Alex hadn't been paying attention, but it looked like that peacock won by default. Part of him hoped that the same would happen for the livestock, but... Nope, there were two horses and a sheep. Not as bad as the pets, at least... He pitied the judge for that round. Anyway, he made his way over to the animals, all while grumbling under his breath how he was under-qualified for this sort of thing.
The first animal he came to was Napoleon the horse... Dear god, that was a fat horse. He may not have known much about livestock, but he could tell an overfed animal. He felt a little bad for the horse for a moment, but then he remembered that horses didn't have senses of self-esteem, and the thing was probably just happy to have so much food.

...But regardless of how happy Napoleon may have been, the horse was still way too fat. Alex frowned and shook his head. Shouldn't horses be strong, capable, and, you know, able to walk properly?
He really didn't feel like lingering, so he jotted down his score and moved onto the next, another horse, Donnas. See? This one looked like it could walk properly, hell, maybe even run. But it could have just been that he was relieved to see a normal sized animal. Unfortunately, it made it just ever so more difficult to judge. 'Obesity' was an easy way to deduct points, but he had no idea how to proceed here. He was a kid from the suburbs, he had never spent much time around horses!

...Well, as long as this horse got a better score than the last one, right? Alex had stared at Donnas long enough. This was so stupid. So he moved over to the next contestant... A sheep! He wasn't sure whether to be relieved or disappointed. If he didn't get horses, then he definitely didn't get sheep! Still, it was kind of cute, in that sheep sort of way... Ahh, he wasn't judging 'cuteness', though, he was judging... livestock-ness! It was right in the name. Sort of. He took a moment to glance around the festival. How did he get this job again?
Oh well. He could BS it, right?

...It was a little hard to see the sheep properly behind all of the wool, but from what he could tell, it actually looked pretty well cared for. He was impressed, especially compared to the previous two. So, he made his notes, and then turned on his heel and walked away. He was done with this thing, so he could go. Sadly, he couldn't go home just yet, since his sisters were there with their pets and he didn't trust either of them. Bokonon was a quick little thing, and he didn't believe that fox was trained at all. He had some shredded shoes to prove it.

 While Alex was busy 'judging' the animals, Gladice was busy slamming her cane on the head of a green haired boy that, frankly, seemed high! Why was she doing that? Well, if someone was to listen to what they were saying, they would understand quickly! "No, no, no! You cannot enter a steak in the livestock contest! It's... it's not alive! It's not a whole a animal! It's... No >_>" Or something along those lines. Odds were that even Gaston would have agreed with her on that. She decided to just leave the man to eat his bloody piece of meat (pun intended) and to go see Alex. Well.. It would seem that he had finished judging! And... well, that winner was pretty clear! Even if Wander hadn't been judge health-wise, he was still winning by a landslide, so there was no need to continue!
"Congratulation to Noelle Delacruz and her sheep Wander! It was the best animal in the livestock category!... Not that the competition was strong.... Anyway! Owners, get you pets ready to perform their tricks! The pet category is about to start!"

Freja immediately gasp and closed the the lid of the thank, slamming it on Gunther's head. That wasn't suppose to happen! Perfected Octopus! Where had he learned to do things like that! Una... it had to be Una! Oh, she would have a little talk with the German when she got back to the shop.

Neil kept looking at the octopus very curiously. What it had done could be used for so many things.. Surely, that octopus had been trained by the soviet union in order to take control of... something. He wasn't quite sure what. But, it was already over. Ah, too bad. Now, it was the time for Mister BoJangle to perform! The little mouse's trick was... well, what it have been done ever since it had arrived to the festival: Strolling around on it's mini scooter. It wasn't bad, but surely the mouse could have done something that it hadn't already been doing for the past hours! That was going to cost them some points, he knew it.

Oh? It was her turn? Good. Judith let go Florence's leash, who then proceed to jump on Gaston and roar in his face. Nothing better than to scare the judge to get a perfect grade. That, and the panther had somethign to settled with it's old owner. After putting all of Gaston's head into her mouth and slamming her paw into Gaston's crotch, not that she actually knew what the would do, Judith snapped her fingers again and the panther returned calmly to her, albeit, a bit pissed it didn't have time to close her mouth around Gaston's head. Oh well, it would be for another time.

Robert let go of Branky, his little b*****d pooch that he had foundin a trash cane back in the city the day before moving. Ah! he was so cute, albeit a bit stupid! How stupid? Well.... his tricked considered of him slamming it's head into a table, over and over and over... but, eh! It was cute! And nobody else would be doing that! So, it was worth some points, right? Right?....

Donnas was not in the least bit sad he had come in second place, hell he was happy he was in second place, Rhapsody knew he was very healthy and had a good appearence but oh well. She smiled at the sheep and patted it's fluffy head." A healthy sheep you have" Rhapsody commented to the young lady that was the owner. Donnas angled his neck down and whinnied a greeting to Wander.
