Honestly, I wasn't that impressed. Which was sad because it looked really promising. Might pick it up, still. Doesn't look bad, at the very least.

The trailer looks amazing. But I'm not buying it. I would play it, if the game wasn't full of whores. talk2hand

I was very impressed by the initial trailer, mostly impressed by the gameplay video, and very unimpressed with the E3 trailer. The initial trailer was amazing and incredibly moving, and it really got my attention and got my hopes up. The gameplay video was interesting. I liked seeing that it's not just another L4D, since it has quests and things like that. More like Borderlands. I was incredibly happy to see that combat is primarily melee-based, because I prefer melee to ranged any day. (Though from the first-person perspective I don't know if that'll work out well.) The High-Pressure Blood annoyed me, because really, I'm not exactly against blood and gore, but what I've seen in this game is too much. It's unrealistically explode-y and I don't think I will be able to play this game if there's not an option to turn it down. Then the E3 trailer happened and I was incredibly disappointed. It had terrible music and sounded like it was trying incredibly hard to be "gangsta," combined with the video being nothing but shot after shot after shot of random killing and exploding blood. Looked like any other shooter (except with melee). Nothing new or emotional or interesting there at all, and it made me think, "Oh, that's the crowd they're going for. The 'gangstas' who just play games to kill things and who think all that blood is totally awesome and who don't care about anything else in the game. " (Note I'm not saying anything's wrong with playing games with that mindset. It's your game, play it how you want to. I just don't consider part of myself that crowd and if that's the type of crowd this game is intended for, then it's not for me.) If the E3 trailer had been the first trailer I'd seen, I wouldn't be at all interested in this game.

Ive seen the first trailer and gameplay. I got to say its a change in the way we kill zombies. It's mostly melee so you can see the zombie's pretty faces. I'm glad the zombies are alittle harder to kill and alittle bit more zombi"er", if that's even a word. Zombies are suppose to make you nervous. In Dead Rising and L4D games, zombies are not so terrifying. In this game, zombies have more personallity or what's left of it. There seems to be many places you could go and the scenery is beautifully done. I would get the demo, but I need to be more impressed to make me buy it. I would like to live there minus the zombies. 3nodding
