So he was a graduate complaining about his age? It seemed that some humans loved to be in their early twenties when they graduated, but she might of just overlooked it. Her eyes furrowed for a moment as he spoke of what he was doing, racking her brain to remember what a janitor was. "Oh a cleaning person. But I think she is great at the art of training. She seems to have a lot of heart in it." Even with their low whispering it still seemed enough to wake up the warrior woman. And to make it even different she was on guard like she would attack them if they took any wrong step. She let Troa speak before she would try to. And again he brought up how he used to train here when he was still in school. It just made her feel like she was the only one who did not train at this entire school. Oh well, she was here to learn more about humans and herself than to fight. "And I'm Syla. We seemed to have met under different terms since the last time. Have you and Haikimaru made friends yet? Or had the fight?" She said offering a little bow of respect to the girl. Not wanting to get her hand chopped off if she extended it to do the human handshake that she just preformed with the man they were talking to.

She felt her eyes narrow at the man, still remaining tense. He couldn't tell her how to keep herself at guard; was he trying to trick her? Her gaze finally shifted to the green female. Was she a dryad like that other boy she met in the forest? They were both green and smelled like a spirit of the forest. She got a more peaceful vibe from Syla's being, and tended to like her more. "We made friends, I think. You friends with fox-man too?" Maiara asked with a nod before looking back at the man to speak to him. "You smile much. And you not smell old. Why you speak as you are one hundred years?" She asked him, her fragmented English becoming very apparent the more she spoke to smile man.

Troa couldn't help but laugh a little. "I have to admit, that's a first." He said, laughing a little more before speaking. "I may look about one hundred, but I'm actually only twenty one." He added with a shrug. "I'm human, if I were a hundred I don't think I'd be walkin around a forrest." He added with a smirk, sighing a little when she didn't relax her stance. "I'm serious about the relaxing though. If you're too stiff, you're movements will be jerky and there's a decent risk of excess movement. That and you're gonna tire out your muscles quickly, which means... well I'm sure you could guess." He added with a shrug. "I learned that the hard way, the memory still sends a chill down my spine." He added, shrugging a little before walking over to a tree stump and sitting down. "If you're relaxed, you not only save more energy, but have quicker reflexes and more control. I can show you if you want." He added with a grin.

"You speak...as if..you...were one hundred years. But you young. Why you do this?" Maiara said, as she tried to speak with better grammar. She was getting better, but it was taking awhile. This language was very frustrating but it would be useful in the future. Her yellow eyes watched the man sit down on the stump; her focus was mostly on him now, rather than Syla; who she deemed not to be a threat at the moment. "Smile-Man want to fight?" Maiara said with a slight smile of her own as she finally did relax, although she kept her guard up as she stood straight with her arms crossed. It had been awhile since she's had a good spar with someone; Haikimaru still hadn't fought with her and probably won't.

Troa grinned again, giving her a friendly nod. "Sure, I'll spar with ya." He said, standing again with a smirk. "I'd like to see how you kids fight these days." He added, imitating an old man's voice. "Come! I'll show you whipper snappers a thing or two of how it was back in my day." He said with the old man's voice, smirking a little. Holding out his left hand, a bright red light shone and broke into beams to form a wire frame of a spear. When the light faced, the spear Gae Dearg was held in his hand. Taking a stance, he smirked as he remained relaxed. "You're move." He said with a grin, speaking with his normal voice now.

Finally! Maiara thought with a feral grin as she felt Wayra sigh within her. She felt like she had restrained herself too long; she wanted to have some fun. Watching him use some sort of magic to create a spear, she was quite intrigued. Coming to this school, she had never seen such a variety of people and powers; she never ceased to be amazed. Well, it should be fun.
"Okay Smile-man" Maiara said, a bit upset she left her bow back in her room today. She wasn't quite ready to shift to Wayra; she liked to save that for later. After a moment, Maiara rushed forward quickly, hoping to feint the man with an easy to dogde punch to his left shoulder.

Troa remained relaxed as she charged at him, and quickly spun the spear as her punch came in and went knocked into her forearm and directed the punch away. Sliding the spear in his hands, he took an "L" step around her left so that he could move around and behind her, and raised the spear blade to to her neck but stopped before it would make contact. Smirking a little, he let the spear shatter and vanish in his hands. "Well it's not fair if you don't have a weapon." He said with a shrug, taking a basic left stance for hand to hand combat.

Syla smiled as she asked if she was friends with fox-man. It was a fun name for him. She just merely shrugged though. She wasn't sure if she was close enough to the purple haired man to call herself a friend. And the way this girl spoke was also fun, a lot different than how she did. It was different, a good different. She watched as the two talked back and forth a bit, mostly resulting in training and how you should stay loose. And then she asked him if they wanted to fight. She watched as he pulled out a sword from light and thin air. She gave a yelp of surprise and quickly dashed behind a tree. Yea, she might be a little skittish. "Just don't hurt the plants. She called out softly. If they did, well she wouldn't know what she would do. Then it looked like Maiara was also going to fight without a weapon. Interesting.

"Hey! Don't stop. It fair." Maiara said is dismay as the spear disappeared. "I fight claw and tooth. You fight spear." She said to smile man as she watched Syla skirt away behind a tree, telling them to mind the plants. She wouldn't hurt anything. That girl was definitely whatever that Archer boy was, a dryad. "Do not worry." The spirit warrior said to her; in a way Maiara was connected to the world of nature just as Syla was. With a quick nod, she stepped back from the man to give herself a bit more room as she began to shift to an arctic fox.
Now standing on all fours, her yellow eyes looked back up at smile man while she adjusted to Wayra's body, stretching her furry white limbs. It felt good to feel her sense become much stronger; her awareness of the environment was so much more clear. She wouldn't attack until he had his spear again.

Troa looked at Syla and was about to speak, when Maiara shifted into an arctic fox. "Well... this brings back come memories." He said with a smirk, his hands glowing red again. This time the light formed two swords, one for each hand. When the light faded, the blades Kanshou and Bakuya were gripped in a tight but relaxed grip. "I'll need a bit more speed then Gae Dearg will give me." He said with a smirk. "Don't worry, if it get's to that point I'll move us... just don't tell no one that I did if I do." He said with a grin, then turned to Maiara. Throwing one of the blades, he let it fly at her before pouring some of his prana into the blade in his hand. The flying blade, arched up and around and flew back at Troa who caught it. "Alright, seems as if I might be able to pull some stuff off." He said with a smirk. "I'm a bit rusty, so I don't think I'll be able to do a whole lot of flashy things." He added with a smirk.((I'll be back later, I need to try and find someplace that's still open for food >.< ))

Maiara instinctively jumped quickly to the side as the strange sword flew towards her but it didn't even come close as it flew back to the man. How interesting... She would have to watch out for that and keep it in mind as she sparred with him. Her nose twitching, she yipped at him in response, waiting for him to make the first move this time. As a fox, none of her moves would be 'flashy'. She would fight as mother nature intended a fox to fight.
((Okay, good luck with that :3. Btw what's prana? Vital life?))[

Troa grinned and charged at her, throwing one of the blades at her again. However, it stuck in the ground in front of her. Jumping off of it, he threw the other blade when he was in the air, and hit the blade that had stuck it's self in the ground. The colliding blades exploded, a minor one that wasn't all that dangerous since it was only a spar... that and he promised not to harm the vegetation. He had been putting not even half of the normal prana into his weapons for these porpoises. However, it was still an explosion and would hurt if Maiara didn't move. In the air, he pointed at the ground and formed a pillar of ice that he landed on. His hands shining the red light again, he formed a sleek black bow and a normal arrow. Stringing it, he took aim and fired before forming another one. ((Prana is kinda like mana. I can send you a link to where I get most of my info for the weapons and magic stuff. It's from "Fate Stay Night" and the other stuffs that Type-Moon made.))

Maiara crouched her body low to the ground, able and ready to move quickly, which came in handed as she jumped back, away from the explosion. But she didn't have time to recuperate as he conjured up some more weapons and Maiara had to keep on her toes as she rolled to the side away from the arrows, keeping close to the pillar of ice. She picked up the arrow, now lodged into the ground, in her mouth before running at the large pillar, launching herself from her strong back legs, getting high enough on the pillar to take a swipe with the arrow at his feet.
((Sure! I've never heard of it.))

Troa grinned a little as she took the arrow and jumped at him, forcing him to jump out of the way as well. Snapping his fingers, he shattered the ice pillar. As he landed, the shards flew towards him and surrounded him in several rings that moved slowly. Giving Maiara a playful wink, the shards from one ring flew towards her head on, and on both sides. He left her rear and top open, as he wasn't trying to truly harm her... but he was also curious as to just how far her skills went. He decided to see how she would fare with this first, before stepping it up a bit.(( This is the site =P ))

As she watched the great ice pillar shatter at the man's whim, Maiara jumped to the rear, although a few shards grazed her side. The shards of ice looked like glass; she saw her own fox face as they whizzed by. She didn't allow herself to hesitate for a moment from the slight pain as she dashed forward, arrow still in mouth, at smile-man. Covering the distance quickly, she lept into the air once again passed him, aiming for the arrow to cut into his arm, but keeping mindful of the circles of ice around him.
((Thanks, it's interesting, never knew most of this stuff xP.))
