She hadn't noticed the scar before now, and still.. she had not. From a distance the color change was not drastic enough to stick out greatly. She also didnt make a point to look at someones hands. Though it did grab tokis interest when Zac said he knew the feline. "Oh? Had to deal with her before..?
Choosing a spot of the wall near the bathroom door she leaned her back against it and looked towards her ceiling, in case zink wanted privacy even though he was fully clothed in the shower. "Well see boss, a lot of kids drink at our age anyways." She smiled to herself, knowing he wouldnt be paying attention to her. "Plus im sure i could find something around here to fit you... though i'm not sure if your the cross dresser type." A laugh, a tease.
Once summoned she walked over and looked at the hand, whistling. "Ooowwwccchh you must have taken a close range hit to have gotten that beauty mark. Its a good thing you wear gloves when in uniform..." Having a marking like that was not good. You'd be able to tell civilian from nega unless you hid it. "I want them all dead.. the guardian cats. Though... unfortunately i cant say i can deliver the killing blow myself unless i do it from a distance and they dont touch me." That should be a hint alone towards her allergies. She knew he woyuld figure it out.
"Lets try and get this shirt off you..." She eyed the dried blood as it ran down the drain. Her hands reaching towards him, slow... unspoken words asking permission to help.

He nodded his permission to help and hooked the lower edge of his shirt and started to gently peel it upward, maybe fast would be better but he was too tired for that to be honest.
"I've passed it off as 'just another tribute from Hillworth'." He shrugged and glanced at it. I suppose if I had to...I could blame it on 'some crazy skittish cat I was trying to help away from some jerk... miss fires must happen right?" He would have shrugged but he was already cursing the shirt, the water helped but it was still a horrid sensation to try and lift his shirt just at the moment.

Walking over she too grabbed the bottom of his shirt, and started to try and lift the wet fabric off. "You know.. it might be less painful if we cut this off." She mused, still trying to help as best she could without touching the boys wounds. "That is, if you didn't mind losing this shirt."
"Hillworth... the 'bad boys' school. I think saying that would make more sense.. then a cat. Unless your talking to someone in our world. Then it would make perfect sense.
"...Now... I could grab some scissors?"

"Go for it." He sighed. "it's not a favorite and I am not pulling this damned thing over my head, might as well maul another shirt, I can teleport back to the dorms after I rest a bit I think." His shoulders sagged slightly at the thought, he honestly wasn't sure he had the energy right now to even try it. No...he was sure he didn't, but he hated to impose.
"Well... I have seen a few star shaped tag signs on some walls too, I don't know if it's senshi or senshi fans or...just people who think cats with star-bald patches are funny.
The scissors snipped away the fabric and peeled free to show at least fairly neat curving claw marks down his shoulders and back.

"Well we can add to their collection when we skin the b*****d."
Leaving for only a moment, she came back and set to cutting the shirt off. She cut it up from the side, trying to avoid the wounded areas. She snipped the sleeves of the shirt, and carefully peeled the fabric away and whistled. "Daaaammn boss... I dont mean to gawk but..." She eyed the wounds, cringing. She would kick that one negaverser for pouring alcohol down his back,
"Ok...kit. Uhm... i think we should allow some water ro run down your back, clear away anything that might have gotten in it." With that, she darted away to grab the kit again.

"Cant be much left in them..." He grumbled in a burst of crankies. "Not after the alcohol bath... thank you for not adding to that by the way...how bad do they look?" he turned his head slightly and stopped. On second thought he -really- didn't want to know. He hadn't bled to death so that was a good start.

"Well, if anything? They should heal ok.. i cant guarantee you wont have scars." Some of them looked deep... mostly towards the top. "They are clean cuts if that makes you feel better?" She returned with another chair in her arms... a stool from the kitchen. "Can you sit on this?" She grabbed a fluffy white towel off a rack in the corner of the room and offered it to him.
"And boss..." She stuck a hand on a hip, giving him THAT look. "I realize you are my captain, but i opened my home to you as a place for you to heal and rest without worry. So don't think about leaving until you are healed up. Or i might be a little insulted." yes it was a very snotty way of saying 'please dont leave' but she had a sinking suspicion it needed to be this way, he was stubborn and she wasnt going to have it. "let me help you for once, ok?"

He shifted and sat on the proffered towel quietly, his look still said stubborn but there was at least reason creeping in at the edges.
"I don't think I can miss that much in the way of classes, if you really think I can stay here till I am 'all healed up', it is supposed to be a dormitory setting. But... for the sake of the Sanity of one of my Lieutenants, I am sure I can muster a check in when requested. If nothing else it will be good practice for when YOU are captain and taking care of your own team, which I'm sure you can, and I know you will..."
Which was a round about way, of saying thank you.

"I think missing just a day or two to get your energy back would not kill you or your grades. Your in bad shape boss. Im not in school anymore, have no idea if i WANT to go to college, so i can be around to make sure you are ok. Besides, I do not work for the next few days anyways." A hidden meaning of she would do whatever he needed. "Hell. i can pretend to be related to you somehow, and say your sick and home with me and ide grab your homework if thats what you were REALLY worried about." She quirked an eyebrow. Not sure if he would accept that answer, but it was worth a shot.
She couldn't help but snort. "Getting way ahead of yourself boss, i still have a lot to learn." With that she moved around to examine his back, running a finger gently near one of the wounds. "Im going to need to put some ointment on these to keep infection out. Then... " She was going to do something he probably would not like, but she had seen it done before.

"It's only partly the grades I worry about, I didn't set ANY of the extra traps on the room, it's down to a few on my desk drawers and that's mostly ink and soluable ink on my notes." He said sounding frustrated and a little distressed. "They won't let you in for -that- and I can't -really- explain how to set them I'd have to show you."
It was a sad excuse...but it was some of the best he could come up with right now.
"We will see... We'll see how I'm doing tomorrow ok?" it was the closest he'd come to meeting half way when school was concerned.
He stiffled a hiss though his teeth at the gentle touch of her finger, trying to seem tougher than he was and, fundamentally failing.
"... I'm going to hate this...aren't I."

"Booby traps huh? You know... strangely im not surprised." A smirk. That was her captain alright. "Always prepared.. but i do request you at least sleep here for the night. I doubt anyone is going to get into your notes tonight."
"Here." She said, offering him a twisted up wash cloth. "..Incase you need to bite on something. I'm not sure if this will hurt bad enough for that but..lets not break your teeth too." Pulling a tube of something out of the kit she uncapped it, and as gently as she could squeezed the gel into the claw marks. Pressing down a little with her fingers to make sure she got into the deeper parts. "Are the claw marks the only thing that you think needs tending to?"

Something to bite on, that was never a good sign when it came to assessing 'how bad does it look'. His heart sank to the pit of his stomach and he felt the chill on his skin all the more acutely for the anticipation of the pain.
He twisted the cloth further till it pinched at his palms as she spread the ointment. "Just..the few burns, but they just need ointment I think." He said through gritted teeth and eyes that were starting just a little to water.
What adrenaline, everything was back to 'reality' full of aches, pains, stiffness and the hot sensation of a long deep cut.

((FLASH FORWARD BUTTON HERE.))
"There!" She said... standing draw from a now bandaged up back. She had read somewhere that superglue was good to use on large cuts.... sealed it in or something. Doctors used something similar to pinch wounds together too, so she figured this wouldn't be so bad. She used the superglue on some of the shallow cuts, figuring it wouldnt burn as badly this way. For the deeper ones she opted to use butterfly bandages.
"I'm not a doctor but this should hold for a bit...we can clean and re package them later on too." At least she didn't subject his back to her mass of that colorful gauze tape stuff that sticks to itself. Though she did wrap some of the burn marks in it.
She was tempted to go for the flaming pink, but chose a more subtle blue. She rather liked her head on her shoulders and not rolling on the floor.
"I did the best i could." She shrugged and stepped away.

He had to unlock his gaw from clenching his teeth into the wash cloth, the damned -glue- she used burned like acid till he swore it had burned away his nerve endings, that at least was a blessing. The rest hurt and ached but not like that, it even made the longer scratches feel 'not so bad' by comparison, maybe there had been method to the madness. He wanted to rip the bandages off the burns but left them, and to give himself something to do rather than succumbing to a terrible urge to reach for starseeds just to retaliate for the pain he rubbed some of the burn ointment into his cheek and wiped away the tears from his watering eyes and stifled sounds of pain.
"...Thankyou..." he finally croaked, mouth dry as the sahara and hoarse to boot.

"No problem" She said taking the towel he was biting on and tossing it in to the laundry bin near the door. Picking up the array of supplies, she puled them messily into the kit and put that aside as well.
Offering the boy a hand she was going to help him stand.
"So.... pain distractions. Pick your poison. Booze, Advil, or... i duno i could find something male to distract you. But i have a feeling you wouldnt want the ladder at this current time." She said with a smirk. "maybe sleep."
