6'4" of pure muscle was folded comfortably into a leather swivel chair behind a dark cherry stained oak desk. The same wood traveled seamlessly throughout his entire office creating a visual trail for the eyes streamlining right back to him. Molten amber eyes scanned over this week status reports of the corporation he ran for the world and underworld; screw Heaven they had "no problems". His rich chuckle escaped at his own joke before he placed the paper work down on the desk. Standing from his sturdy office space, the CEO of Strickland Alternative Sciences looked out his large picture window into the city and the bay. Humans couldn't see the demon (and angelic) life swarming around them, but it was there...whispering, seducing, angering, making their lives more delicious.
A two-piece, one button mocha tailored Armani suit clung to this man's chiseled body as he stared into the life-filled abyss before him. Belial, One of the Three, High Lord Demon of Hell, Former Arch Angel, Reigning General under the Highest powers in Heaven.. Enough to strike terror in the heart of any demon level 9 and below. Interestingly enough, none of those posers knew that the three lived in the above world while the Morning Star himself revels in his chaos below. Which was fine, by him. So here he was, Lyle Strickland, head CEO of Strickland Alternative Sciences: Providing a Better Life For All Demon-kind....or at least that what it should to say. And that's who he would be for the next, oh 15 years or so...maybe 20 depending on how long he could pull off not aging.
Inhaling deeply, that demon in human form closed his eyes as if smelling a homemade pie only to have his eyes snap open to the familiar smell of sulfur and his orbs filled with a feral hunger that changed his once welcome coloring to that of an eerie green demonic glow. Slowly turning around to face his otherwordly intruder, Belial's face began to warp and shift, demon energies fight with that of the need to stay in human form, his face taking on a beastly shape of both. The shape of beautiful succubus wreathed in flame twisted and writhed in front of him, not moving as he stalked forward as if towards a feast. His human nails sharpening to claws as they came within reach of her opalescent skin reflecting the magical flames, his finger tips barely brushed her skins...
-POP-
She vanished right in front of him on to leave a scroll in his outstretched claws, sealed with blood wax with the imprint of the Morning Star. Belial stood there for a moment before sighing softly and harumphing. Lucifer did love a spectacle. And he loved to make fools out of anyone, including his brothers. Sitting in his windowsill, he quickly unfurled the scroll and read its contents. His ghastly green eyes opened so wide in surprise, he figured it was a good thing he hadn't already wasted the energy schooling his features or he would've had to do it again. This was serious....But to take one demoness' word on it? No matter of reliable...it was still a stretch.
Belial quickly schooled his features back to his human features and reached for his intercom to reach his secretary, just another stupid human that let hium feed off her soul...not that she knew it, "Marisa."
"Oh!...yes, Mr. Strickland?!" her fauning came over even on the intercom...ah well a meal was a meal.
"Cancel my meeting for the rest of the day and hold all my calls. Everything call be taken care of tomorrow, just reschedule everything."
"Oh..b-b-but Mr. Strickland. You have a meeting with Ambassador Chung! That meeting has been waiting a yea-"
"I said reschedule it Marisa!"
"Oh! Y-y-yes Mr. Strickland!"
With only a wave of his hands, he wards his office so not only would no one be able to enter but no one would want to enter. Quickly he moved one of his bookcases as if it only weighed as much as a feather and entered a secret elevator powered only by demonic energies. As long as Hell existed, the Elevator would work. In the blink of an eye, he was in a chamber that obviously only he visited. Or maybe he and small animal...or humans...something that splattered the blood on the walls. Three or four ceremonial cloaks hung on the walls but it was clear he wouldn't bother with those today, there just wasn't time. With chalk made from the bones of Seraphim (hard to come by if you know your angels), he quickly drew a Pentagram within a summoning circle on the floor. Unplugging a bottle of Blood Ambrosia he poured it in the circle as an offering (more as bait) to the spirit he would summon (more like order). Belial had used this demon before, he got the job done, and he was the only one that came to mind in a pinch.
Kneeling beyond the circle that would protect him from the demon he would summon (their last deal hadn't gone well), his deep timber of a voice echoed in the chamber has he began chanting over and over again allowing the words to echo beyond the chamber, beyond the veil, beyond the world, "EGO voco vos ex Abyssus obtempero meus ordo. EGO voco vos ex Abyssus obtempero meus ordo. EGO voco vos ex Abyssus obtempero meus ordo. EGO voco vos ex Abyssus obtempero meus ordo. EGO voco vos ex Abyssus obtempero meus ordo.EGO voco vos ex Abyssus obtempero meus ordo.....Ayperos"
Magical winds whipped through the chamber, he knew were dragging the demon to him to seize him in the summoning circle to bind him there to listen to Belial, so he waited paitiently until the demon was there, kneeling before him probably angrily.
He smirked at the Incubus, "Hello Again Ayperos."

Level 2 - Hell -- ??Teanna didn't particularly care for the arrogance that this demon displayed, but because she knew that he was powerful enough to come and go from this realm she knew better than to even bristle -- especially since him going without her was something she wasn't sure she was ready for. Whether it was because she felt like it had been so long since she'd heard the sound of another voice that wasn't being twisted in torment and agony, or felt the warmth of another body that wasn't ripping and forcing itself onto and into her own, or if she still believed she could somehow convince him to help her despite his own admission to not wanting to do so.
"I've already been here so..." Her words were abruptly cut off by a tug, and though she didn't what it was she knew that he was leaving her. Suddenly feral, consumed with the fear of being left in this place alone again, Teanna clawed at Ayperos and clung to him. Screaming in rage even as she felt him being pulled away from her she dug in with everything she could, the same desperation that had allowed her to escape the storm of this level came to her again fueled by anger that he would leaver her, her... but a moment later she wasn't there anymore.
The change assailed her like sensory deprivation, the change from a sweltering, wind ravaged plain that her ravaged body had become accustomed, to the sudden lack of what felt like nothing. She scrambled blind away from the warm body she assumed was Ayperos and then froze, like an animal unsure of the direction in which a predator would strike, and tried to regain what senses she could. But she couldn't focus her attention, her anger still boiling, barely concealed under the skin, and could only tell that the ground she was on, the floor, was cold.. and she didn't feel like she was in Hell anymore. But how is that possible?

One moment, Ayperos felt him standing next to Te, and the next he felt as if he were being stretched and pulled by an unseen force. Opening his eyes, with an addled sense of direction, he slowly recovered his composure . However, Ayperos knew all to well what had happened. He had been summoned forcefully by another demon, but he could tell he was no longer in Hell. Only a demon of great strength could drag him this far away from their realm, and with the utterance of a single sentence, the identity of the one who called him forth was revealed.
"Hello again, Ayperos."
That voice...
He raised his eyes to meet the face of the High Lord Demon, still on his knees from the stress that such a trip places onto the mind and soul of others. Ayperos responded still catching his breath, not completely stable just yet. Seeing the binding circle, and now knowing the one that summoned him, Ayperos knew that he was not beckoned for an idle chat.
"Belial, My Lord. It's been awhile... What need do you have of me, now?"
Ayperos had a distaste for every high ranking demon level 8 and above. His progression through hell was rather quick, and looked upon by the other demons as extraordinary, and a threat. However, his progress ceased just as suddenly as it had began once he reached level 6. The demons above him, no longer concerned for their positions paid him no mind, except the former Archangel Belial, one of those privileged to enter Lucifer's domain freely. Belial became intrigued in Ayperos, and has on many occasions made use of his skills, often with the only reward being the ability to remain among the damned. He was not a fool, and knew better than to disobey an order from the High Lord himself, but did not hide his dislike for him. If anything, that was what Belial found most amusing about the Incubus.

Almost curiously Belial watched the dirty, terrified she-demon scramble away from the circle. In all his previous dealings with Ayperos, he'd never summoned the arrogant p***k with a companion, he'd have to start altering the spell from now on. With a wave of his hand, he created a concave barrier around the crawling female till he could deal with her, his dealings were with the Incubus right now. Belial folded his powerful arms in front of him, reaching with one hand to stroke what little facial hair he did have on his chin as he contemplated how to approach this situation.
"As it turns out Ayperos, I'm in need of your skills of procurement once more," he leveled his ghastly green demonic gaze on the lower leveled demon, "I need a demon procured, and brought to me in decent physical condition for questioning."
It felt like his body was one entire knot of tension. How could this be happening? He hoped wherever this little demon was, she knew the information they needed. They had to stop this before it got out of hand; they didn't want to have to stoop so low as to join forces with the Angelic minded.
"So here we are at the phase of negotiations. I've told you what I want, now what is it you want and we'll go from their."

-- ??Almost immediately she collided with a solid object, or what Teanna assumed to be a solid object, and she recoiled from it with a hiss only to hit another one. She threw her arms out quickly to investigate what her instincts already knew to be true -- she was trapped, caged like an animal. Angrily, she struck out against whatever it was that was holding her but to no avail. Her strikes bounced came back with equal force to which she had thrown them, nearly hitting herself in the face the first time she attempted to, and she quickly gave up that approach.
Instead she sat, tucking her feet under her naked backside to protect it from the cold floor, and held herself for a moment while she focused on adjusting to the new, dimmer light and temperature. While she rubbed her eyes and was able to make out more and more of her surroundings from behind a veil of her tangled, dark hair she realized that there were voices in the room as well, not the nightmarish whispers of hell but real voices. Ayperos was one of them, and she realized then that she'd succeeded at what had been a vain, desperate attempt -- she'd followed him.
With that accomplishment putting a momentary grin on her face (how could it not, when she'd been trapped on the second level for so long), she straightened in her posture and leashed in whatever fury was still residing within her. Parting her hair first, she spied Ayperos and another man, taller and dressed like a human.. though she doubted he was, if not because of his size then because of the aura of power he was sizzling with. Suspecting that he was the one responsible for Ayperos' sudden departure and, by consequence, her own, Teanna settled herself and smoothed back her hair as best she could. With it draped over either breast she worked at the tangles, doing her best to appear disinterested in the conversation, and waiting for what might seem like an opportunity to jump in.

Alas, it was exactly as Ayperos predicted, not that it was highly complicated or difficult to discern. All of the clues were there, in plain sight. Also, Belial had only summoned the Incubus once for a reason other than a request he had for him, and that was only to measure his abilities. From that point on, you could say he's been adopted as a sort of lackey for the former Archangel, when his expertise was required. However, something peaked his interest, and perked his ears.
Reward...?
Was it a joke? Was the High Lord Demon, direct servant of the Dark Lord himself, asking another demon what he wanted in return for doing as he was told? Something wasn't right, and he didn't know what to think of it. It could have been a trick, or even a test to see how deep Ayperos' confidence had rooted itself. Belial was not without his other pawns, but Ayperos was special in his own reliability, so he doubted the chance that his answer would cost him his life. And if this was a legitimate proposal, it could mean a priceless opportunity for him. He didn't get this far without taking any chances, and now the reward far exceeded the risk.
If Belial is being straight with me, then something must really have him on edge. I shutter to think of what could possibly scare him, but more of what he's dragging me into in his stead...
"Negotiations? My Lord, it is rare for you to offer such a thing. As grateful as I am, I can think of nothing I require, except more strength and abilities, to better serve you."

His ghostly orbs narrowed at the servant before him. Strength and abilities!? There were few things he hated more then demons who couldn't gain their abilities on their own. Money, sex, positions of power were all one things. Abilities themselves were another. But they were negotiating and he had offered a reward, "And what powers exactly are you looking for Ayperos?"
Demons and Angels couldn't lie, they could be vague, manipulate, coax, cajole, exaggerate, seduce and mislead...but they couldn't lie. However, it was Angels that had the qualms with morality about being completely truthful. A smirk formed on his perfect face as he noticed the incubus perhaps uncomfortable with being called on what he wanted to ask for. But for one stray moment his eyes drifted towards the female that was still caught in the trap, she had that wildness to her that new demons had, its always had an erotic allure to it. But this wasn't the time of place for it.
"So? What is it you want?"

"I desire the power to travel freely from this realm and the mortal world, My Lord Belial, no longer requiring the aid of those who rank above me."
He spoke in the same manor as he had before, but Ayperos made great effort in keeping the wry smile forming in his mind, from forming on his face. It wasn't asking too much of the former Archangel, but it would require him to loosen his grip on Ayperos' leash a little more. Belial could always pull swiftly on his end, and bring him straight back here with that summoning ritual of his, but at least Ayperos would be able to venture beyond the confines of Hell as he pleased. He accepted long ago that he would never be free from the High Lord's grasp, as this was not an escape attempt. Ayperos simply wished for the opportunity to eliminate all of the 'Red Tape' during his trips to the veil, and to occasionally enjoy a change of scenery whenever time allowed.

It truly wasn't an odd thing to ask for. Most demons wanted that. Usually something granted after one reached a certain level in Hell and always after one traversed the Wastelands. However, there were a few exceptions to the rule. A scowl marred his chiseled jaw before he reached up with one hand to stroke his chin thoughtfully. Was there a downside to granting this request? Unfortunately, he didn't have the time to traverse all the pros and cons. This was time sensitive.
"Fine. Done." Lifting one large hand, he snapped his fingers together and released the inner bonds that would trap the incubus to Hell without aid. Now he could travel back and froth as he pleased.
Once he was released from the summoning circle however.
"Now, you'll uphold your part of the deal. You acquire what I need or our contract will be null in void," the menace in his voice dropped to a dangerous level, "And I won't simply be retrieving your reward."

"Why, of course, My Lord. Consider my end of the bargain fulfilled."
As if I really had a choice. Still, this is essentially as close to freedom as I could ever hope to achieve, now. I will be Belial's dog for the rest of eternity, should he wish it, but it feels good to be untethered from the tree.
Ayperos remained on one knee, now fully composed, ready and willing to serve. He wasn't very fond of the relationship between Belial and himself, but there was little Ayperos could do but play the role of the obedient servant. He knew of some he had met in the mortal realm as Mathew Fletcher who would rather die than be someone's slave. Ironically enough, Ayperos was already 'dead', and Hell will show you far worse things to endure than slavery.
"Who might the lucky demon be, to be so privileged to be in the company of the High Lord himself this evening?"

"I would hardly consider the demon lucky Ayperos. My information is that the demon in question is 2nd level succubus by the name of Teanna. Fairly new to Hell, so she'll retain much more of her former life then older demons. She has information that is valuable to me," one again he folded his arms over his powerful chest and stared at Ayperos, "I want her immediately. Do you understand?"

Ayperos listened carefully to the tone of Belial's voice. He had never known the High Lord to ever express a sense of fear, so the emphasis must have been directed towards something else. He toyed with the idea of anger, or even frustration, perhaps. He fanned away the thoughts mentally, relieving himself of such pointless questions. Whatever was to happen the High Lord was none of his concern. His reward had already been given, and his task was merely to discover the succubus, and deliver her to Belial.
It doesn't matter what's going on, or why. I doubt he'd tell me anything, anyway. Well, I was just in the 2nd level moments ago. And being able to travel back to Hell freely will make the return trip so much simpler. All I have to do now is find this T-...
He looked to his left, leaning up from his knelt position, eyes in a somewhat curious shock. Staring at the freshly born demon, Ayperos asked himself one thing, and one thing only.
Just how many other things are going to go right for me today?
Ayperos turned back to the former Archangel with a small smirk on his face.
"If you would be so kind as to fancy me by answering a question of my own. Do you believe in coincidences, Belial, or does everything that occurs around us have some hidden meaning?"
He turns back to the woman, bound in Belial's trappings. With an innocent smile on his face, he spoke, in a light-hearted tone laced with poison.
"What about you... 'Te'?"

Te straightened ever further in affront to the snide smile she received from Ayperos and puckered her lips in pretty defiance of the demon's arrogance. She had clung to him in whatever spell had brought them here, which she had by now put enough together to know that this.. 'Belial' .. had the real power. A small voice in the back of her mind told her that she should know this name, that she should tread carefully, but she was too... prideful to bide by it. Not to mention that if anyone got the credit for her presence here it would damned well be her, not that insufferable pride demon that had been about to leave her in the cursed level.
"The only thing hidden, Ayperos" She said boldly, drawing in the smart articulation and accent from her life in New Orleans, "is your lack of doing anything meriting a reward. I dragged myself from that storm, and I will be damned --again-- if you think I didn't drag myself here too. You were just the 'piggy' to my 'back'."

"I appreciate the confirmation to your full name, 'Teanna'. It would have been quite unfortunate had you been tortured any further, for such simple information. You wear such a beautiful face, and it would be a shame to see it tarnished, after only such a short time in Hell."
Ayperos straightened his back, still down on his right knee, right forearm lightly resting on it. Looking back now to Belial, he remained quiet, confident that the High Lord would appreciate a word or two, now that it had become known that the succubus he desired to meet, and the woman bound to his floor, were one in the same.
Do not forget that you are not the only one who was dragged here, Teanna. This isn't my personal choice of company that I keep. However, the irony of this situation has lightened whatever remains of my soul. Though I am never happy to see your face Belial, for once, I don't regret it either.

Rubbing one large hand down his face, Belial sighed heavily. Part of him couldn't believe this was actually happening; the very demoness he was looking for was here trapped in a stasis bubble waiting to be release. Of course the other part of his suddenly incredibly angry for giving a reward where one was obviously not due; regardless that no one knew that one would not be due....that was completely besides the point. And now here these two insignificant beings were arguing about who it was that brought them both here to this point to be rewarded?! How utterly ridiculous!
"ENOUGH!!" he roared, his ghastly demonic visage suddenly visible to the lower demons in front of him, "I have no time for your bickering!!"
"You!" hos massive claws pointed at Ayperos, " you have your reward, albeit ill gotten. Do not think to keep such a reward again, little one.
"No get OUT!", his power clawed hands reached into the summon circle and grasped Ayerpos' collar and decided to send him somewhere interesting. Make him get out of his own little mess. Breaking the circle, he quickly threw the incubus' incorporeal state through the wall of the summoning chamber and into the Harpie Forest in the Seventh Level. See him get out of the Boiling Blood with the minotaurs and harpies feasting, as well as the suicidal souls reaching to suck out his power.
Chuckling darkly, he poured his handsome human face back over his body his muscles flexing as he turned. Clearing his throat, he knelt in front of the confined succubus.
His voice warmed over his captive like melted sex, "So you're Teanna?"
