A slight nod was her answer, his tone soft as he mused under his breath. " Susana, you know the room I have forbidden be opened.. Go into it and hide, do not look at what is there." Louder he chuckled, walking slowly.. steadily.. away from the spirit and the entrance to that forbidden room. Keep that temper on me, little boy.. I'll give you no choice. " My my... what a ironic achilles heel you have. Still, young one, it is no reason to be so weak that your temper rules you." Another few steps, his back to the empty chairs.. his expression still edged in mocking amusement. Susana.. would be the only one safe, he thought.. to enter that room, where mortals were striped of their very flesh. As a spirit, he had no reason to think she would be in danger of It.
The said room rested to the girls left, behind the curtain and appearing to be no more than a store room.. if not for the runes lining the wood, that was. Inside it was dark, humid.. dry scales rubbing together as coils moved in tired motions. It slept, as the relics demanded.. waiting.

Susana nodded and quickly went into the room. She didn't open the door, just floated through it and stood by the door, trying not to look around as Ice had told her. She sighed and slid down on the door, curling her legs to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. "I hope Ice will be alright. That man isn't nice. Ice..."

Ice was getting much too close to dying now, Dalykos hadn't felt his anger reach this magnitude since his powers had immerged all those years ago. Even then the anger had been from the pain, from the moment of weakness. The smallest rationality inside of him knew he couldn't kill this man, it would be a great loss. But his anger needed releasing. Knowing he was standing right in front of the door they feared he turned, his energy gathering inside of him. One good blast. That's all I need...
"Brother, no!"
Alicia's voice filled his ears with the sound of his blood pounding but she was too late. With a flash of onyx acrossed his eyes he let the energy go, blasting the door into a million shards so that even with the room's inhabitants the power radiated off of the walls, bouncing inside and off of the demon that lay waiting. With the anger slowly seeping away now he returned to his vampire form, eyes glowing gold as he looked at Alicia, saw the fear in her own red gaze. She had seen the runes on the door as well, feared them more than he had. This was even more obvious by her whispered tone. "Dalykos, what have you done?"

"Dalykos, what have you done?" The girl's words were echoed by Ice's own growl.. not for the door, nor what would surely come from it.. but for the girl inside. Ignoring the siblings he sprinted forward, intent on ensuring the phantom's safety.. as a thick, familiarly tuffeted tail came flicking out. " Susana, Flee!" It slamed into his middle, the wood cracking under his back as the heavy thing landed on him once again. A clear liquid slid from the corner of his mouth as his head fell back, form bluring slightly.. yet unable to liquify entirely for some reason.
Six eyes cracked open slowly, even as it's tail struck down the creature that dared to imprison him.. the beast could only feel anger at being struck so. Not all was lost, it seemed..The runes were gone.. The eyes crested with cruel glee as the demon crawled from the shattered doorway, it's rough side pushing the ghost female harshly. Being who he was.. touching the dead was simple.. having the temper he had, controling it was impossible. A wedged shape head slid from the ruined room, six eyes seeing all.. clouded with rage. Two back legs dug into the wreckage that had been its prison, four front legs bracing it's weight as the beast arched back its neck.. a thick strand of saliva trailing from the corner of its jaws as it let out a screech, the sound of nails on a chalk board smacking through the stage.

Susana almost screamed but heard Ice's words and quieted herself so the beast wouldn't notice her. She saw it hit Ice and gasped, running over to him and started to check him. "Come on Ice, you need to wake up now." She was frantic. Ice had kept the thing dorment for a reason and he was the one who had locked it away. "Ice, people are going to get hurt if you don't wake up."

What the hell is that thing?! Dalykos thought as he flinched from the screech, gritting his teeth in a growl as he blocked Alicia from the thing's view, having seen her fall to her knees with a pained cry and her hands over her ears. Oh yes, the noise hurt immensely, but he had grown used to such pain. She hadn't.
Alicia was nearly gasping from it, clinging to herself even as she stood behind Dalykos, eyes wide. This demon was a Demi. It was clear by the force behind his rage. A ripple in the air drew Alicia's attention behind them, seeing a little girl no more than four years old with big eyes. And she had started towards the demon. Not thinking she grabbed the little girl, holding her off of the ground, completely confused when the girl started screaming and trying to get away from her. She had no idea that this child was Trinity. "Daddy!"
The word from the kid's lips made Dalykos turn back to them so fast his neck crack, feeling like there was a second banshee in the room. "Alicia, let the kid go!" "No!"

Ice's eyes cracked open, feeling the tail slide off of him.. and then Susana's delicate touch. It was impossible, she had never touched him before.. but.. to himself, deep down, he would admit it felt nice. Soothing. " T'is only.. a flesh wound.. My bonny spook." He could not really understand her words, but he heard her voice.. expression twisting between grim humor and confused irritation as his gaze caught the demon's. It's head was large.. teeth open and lowering on the pair as the ghost tried to comfort him. So that was it.. she touched this demon, allowing her to become stronger.. Wait, was it not a bad thing that large pair of jaws was closing in...
The word 'Daddy' did the trick, the wedged head whiping around with a serpent's speed.. scales standing on end as the beast fixed it's gaze upon Alicia.. and the struggling child in her arms. His tail slashed into the wall as he turned on the she-demon.. charging ahead at full force as another screech escaped his gaping maw. Trinity.. that female dared to touch his treasure. He was on the siblings in seconds, jaws spread.. yet nothing happened, he had halted his attack with only inches between his snout and the she-demon's face.. exhaling hard enough to ruffle her hair as he growled lowly. He could not risk hurting his Trinity, he would have to be careful in attacking this one...
Dalykos seemed to be forgotten in this, close enough to the Demi's head that he could reach out and touch it's brow.. his head level with the last of its three left eyes. Clearly, when it came to the wiggling child.. the beast had tunnel vision.

Susana saw the demon come closer and wrapped herself around Ice, trying to protect him. "Ice, what is that thing?" Her form was shivering. At this point her energy had latched onto the demon's without her knowing so, making her a solid human being. She looked down at Ice again and checked him over, trying to figure out where Ice was hurt.

The two were shocked not from his attack, but from his sudden resistance to destroy them. Alicia stood completely motionless, holding the girl tighter when she was starting to get loose. Why was this child trying to go to him? And how could a child like this call a creature her father?
Dalykos thought nothing of it, he just knew one thing. This demon was a threat to him and his sister. Taking advantage of the distraction while Quin contemplated how to kill them and not Trinity he struck, blasting Quin with all that he had and yanking Alicia out of the way. And he could tell that he had shocked her, because in order to not fall she let go of the still screaming girl. But Dalykos couldn't stop himself from doing a double take when the child ran straight at the demon, lifting her palms up to his snout with clear relief and excitement in her eyes. No... really? This demon was really the little girl's father? "Daddy, daddy, daddy!" Trinity was crying out to him as if he might disappear once more any minute, the ripple of power from his release was the only reason she even knew he was back. She had already lost her mother, she couldn't lose her father as well.

That bit made sense.. Reason returning along with the knowledge that, if not for his abilities, he would have been crushed under that tail. And Susana.. There would be time enough later to question what had happened to her so long as she was unhurt, as of now he simply curled his arms around her and sat up.. scooting a few feet back as he answered.. winceing as his abused body protested. " That.. is Rel'Quin. Nice and easy, look at the door for me.. any rune's make it in once piece?" Pain was not a normal feeling for him, few things could keep him from turning to liquid when he wished it.
The boy had a punch to him.. it was enough to knock the demon onto his side, body lax as the energy his rage gave him slowly drained away. A long sigh escaped him as he heaved himself to his belly, a noise
" Daddy, daddy, daddy!"
drawing his head down so that the child could cuddle his snout. His form wavered, bones snaping wickedly.. as they only did when a demon had been trapped in one form too long.. as his body twisted to that of a man on his knees, arms cradling the child protectively as he rested his cheek on her hair. Everything else was forgotten, the Demi's temper gone with a child's word. His body was slightly gaunt, voice thick.. little more than a growl as he soothed the child. " I am sorry, my little Trinity.. Are you hurt, do these creature's need to die..?"

Susana looked at the door and almost shook her head, but saw one that was fully intact. "Just one. Why is he locked up? He looks like he wouldn't do any harm with that little girl around. She could be the key Ice." She whispered as she watched the demon change and hug the little girl. She saw no reason why the creature needed to be locked up, but that was her sweet, ghost side talking. Since she hasn't had a real life in a long time, so she tried to look at every point a view, sometimes seeing something more then what was really there.

The shock reverberated through the both of them when suddenly the creature was in a human form, Trinity's arms around him in return. So this was the demon's weakness. With a word that child could end them, all in the name of fatherly love and appeasement. Dalykos kept both eyes on them even as he tilted his head down, whispering under his breath to Alicia. "Get out of here, now." For once she didn't argue, just squeezed his hand and disappeared.
Trinity was nearly on the verge of crying as she squeezed her arms around her father's neck, hugging him as much as she could. Even with his nearly emaciated form he was too big for her to fully wrap around him, but it was great to have him in her arms again, have him holding her to his chest. Turning her head to rest against his shoulder she saw the man and the woman near the wall, hearing what he had said. She didn't know what runes were, but she could feel the power those symbols had once held, knew they were the reason her Daddy had been gone. "Lea' my daddy 'lone!" she practically screamed, staring right at Ice and Susana.

Damn.. Attention was the last thing they needed, but it was hard to avoid notice now. Carefully Ice lifted Susana, setting her on her feet as he himself leaned against the wall for support.. gaze meeting the little girl's steadily. " All of you need to leave, there has been enough damage done to my stage." Susana was right, that girl held the demon's strings easily.. The Demi had served his time for what he had done so long ago, now if they went quietly.. he would not make a move to imprison any of them. There was a reason this was a safe place, after all.. the guardian was hard to get around. It was only in answer of Susana's question that he mused quietly. " Rel'Quin nearly destroyed this place during its reconstruction, it had been mad with rage and tearing at creatures wildly. the Rune's cast it to sleep, the room was built around it.. but the anger never faded, I would not risk letting such a angry creature free so close to my protected ones." This last bit was said with a side long glance at Dalykos.. quirking a eyebrow up slightly as if to say: ' Like you almost repeated.'
Ignoring the mutant's story Quin had started to climb to his feet.. careful to keep Trinity a small distance in case he crumbled to the floor once again. He would feed, but not here.. not until his strength returned and his child was safe. Still.. his jaw ached, gaze flicking to the younger demon with a cold study. " Was that attack to protect these lesser creatures.. or that female." In short.. are you a traitor to your blood, or defending your kin.

Susana looked at Ice and then the creature, helping Ice stay up straight as she listened. "I didn't know that happened. And I thought I heard everything about this place." She sighed and as the creature's energy faded so did her form, turning transparent again and her energy started to drain as she tried to keep Ice up.

At the mention of Alicia Dalykos' eyes darkened, his fingers flexing. He knew the underlying meaning behind the question. But at the same time the words were a threat to all he knew. What business was it of any of them the lengths he went for his sister? He didn't care about the stare Ice gave him, he didn't care what he had done. He felt no remorse for letting his anger loose, had he harbored it.... Quin would not have been the only consequence. "Did you plan on eating that child when you nearly attacked us or freeing her from harmless arms that knew no better?" Trinity's eyes were big, nearly frightened as she wrapped her arms around Quin's leg, not knowing what else to do. She didn't know why they said these things about her father.
