I'll probably go with the pig anyway. At least it's cute in the beginning, and who knows, it might grow on me. But WHAT is it with all of the fire starters ending up half fighting type from Gen III onward?
That grass starter DOES look pretty cool though...

So basically, Typhlosion is the only fire starter who doesn't get dual typed by its final evolution. Huh. Never noticed that before...

from what I've heard white has 3 on 3 battles and black has rotation. they both seem so interesting.

i don't know anything about rotation I just know for 3 on 3 it works like this
pokemon 1 pokemon 2 pokemon 3
pokemon A pokemon B pokemon C
pokemon 1 can only attack A and B pokemon 2 can attack A, B and C pokemon 3 can only attack B and C
and then it's the opposite for the other side A -1&2 B-1,2&3 C-2&3
so if you strategize it could be really fun and hard.

Another new battle feature is the Rotation Battle. This battle is set out like a Triple Battle but has a brand new means to battle. Here, like with Triple Battles, you send out three Pokémon. However, the stage your Pokémon are on can rotate. You only battle one Pokémon versus one Pokémon with the other Pokémon pushed at the back. However, when you're battling, you will have the ability of rotating the stage clockwise or anti-clockwise making another of your Pokémon the main Pokémon you intend to use. This does not take your turn away and you have the ability to attack immediately with your new main Pokémon. The rotation appears to be the first thing that happens in the turn so Speed is calculated after the rotation.Source

Interesting...still needlessly complicated, but interesting nonetheless.

If I had enough money, I would probably want the cool looking DSi. But I'm waiting on my 3DS, so I don't really care so much. But the GameStop people called me yesterday to tell me since I have it pre-ordered there.
March 6th...SO CLOSE.
