If you don't mind me saying, that's a pretty ignorant statement.
Not everyone views God in that manner.
What you're talking about is the Christian view of what God is.
The thing is, we don't know if things happen for a reason or not. There's so much more we have to learn about the universe.
As for the afterlife, there are many claims for it and against it. I myself had a very odd experience which I can't explain.
Like you, I used to doubt the existence of ghosts. I'm not saying that you're wrong or right, but I just don't like the fact that you think people are "weak minded" for believing in this.
And as far as importance goes, the bible says that it's bad to assume you are better than God. Pride is one of the seven deadly sins.
So your statement really should be "unwilling to accept they're important". Tru Dat. It's in our nature to want to survive, so I don't see it as being weak.
It's kind of a hard thing to judge in any case. It's sort of scary, yet exciting for me to know there's something out there.

But they are nothing new... Lol. My mother said she remembers seeing a lot of "the end is nigh" signs as a kid.
They freaked her out at the time.
It amazes me that people still believe all that doomsday tripe.

Not necessarily true. A lot of people are like that, I'll give you that, but church is not a social club where you come to tell stories about some mythical being. You go there to become a warrior to fight on a plane of spiritual warfare. I used to be shaky on the subject of religion, but then I thought " You know, I've never even read the Bible, much less even do what my pastor asks of me. So how do I even know it works until I have done and experiment to see what happens when I don't listen to the word of God." It didn't take long to notice that when I actually tried doing religion that life gets considerably better. People ask me all the time why I still stick to religion because I am such an open minded person, and the answer is really simple: I never have seen and atheist healed miraculously of caner, I haven't seen AIDS and other STDs come out of peoples bodies anywhere else but in church. That's right, God heals STD's- the self inflicted disease(s). I've never seen an atheist get up out of a wheelchair they've been sitting in for most of there life and run around with joy. To me it seem like atheist just roll over and die when something bad happens to them, and I am not that kind of person. With God, all things are possible. Matt. 19:26

Azkeel God would be the creator. An alien would be created, an alien would also be known as an angel or demon. So be careful because angels have proclaimed themselves as God as well. Remember the God in the Bible is known as the invisible God. The creator will use angels (Aliens) to give us messages but if they proclaim to be god they are wrong because God as we know it would be the creator of everything thus not a creation. Yahuwah the Fathers name Yahu'shua the son's name. The son came in the name of the Father. Those names are used only in the Jewish faith. That is why you don't see either in the New Testament, but only in the old testament. Just a fun fact biggrin

Maybe, or maybe "God" was a conspiracy to control the public in the past. That's just an idea and I wouldn't mean to offend. However, take a look back at who ruled during ancient times.
When Europe was controlled by the theocracy of the church, would my idea make a little bit of sense?
I'm not saying it's true but being a person who is not only an Atheist but believes humans look for power in any possibility, I wouldn't doubt them lying to the public just to gain power.

Everybody has there own belief but I believe since it said in the bible "I am that is" and also that we are all made up of god that we are all god and are just being corrupted and brainwashed into believing all that is says on the tv and the bible is a metaphor towards the nature of things for instance the tree of life is Money because it brings greed, hatred, wars. I believe since we all have god like essences or spirits we are all one with the earth and eachother through our minds. I mean it also said that Jesus was a son of god but we are all sons and daughters of god in all actuality when Jesus was a child he travelled all around India and trained his mind and meditated with the Hindus and buddhists and became one with his energies. I dont know if he was being egotistic about himself however there are people around the world who can heal people walk on water or fire, I can airbend and see visions. We can all do everything if w train ourselves. Check on YouTube for a 3 hour video called secret of secrets...unfortunately the website is for those older than 19 however it's an amazing video and will open your third eyes further. smile anymore questions feel free to pm me!
