The eyes look better smaller like that, and the teeth are a nice touch, not to mention it looks like an actual bat now. I preferred the concept wings wings though.

Yeah, I noticed that he looked a little... Impotent, without the teeth. redface
I tried the concept wings first, but the curves made the fact that they were keys less obvious. Then again, I didn't get all the way through colouring them, so that may have fixed it on its own. If I get around to it, I'll try it that way, too. 3nodding
And, I'm not really sure how much feedback I'd get out of z!F - this guy's a pretty small suggestion, nothing to get excited about. From what you guys have said, the concept seems sound, and intuitive enough, and that's all I'd really expect from some random enemy, like this guy. I think the vast majority of responses I'd get would be either "I like it" or "I hate it", and as you were kind enough to point out, in this guy's case those are both positives... whee
