Faleen listened with a calm, patient demeanor, watching Kofuku to hear how she met Will, but what she heard instead caused Faleen's head a jerk up in surprise.
She could not believe that Kofuku had just said that.
from utter surprise, and growing embarrassment and frustration, Faleen frowned softly, cheeks flushing a dark pink.
"Kofuku, please refrain from making assumptions like that."
Her tone was still calm, but her words were clear and slow. "Will is a friend."

There was a long pause as Fuku looked from Will to Faleen, then she held her hands up. "Sure sure, if you say so, girl... One of these days, though."
Walking over to the bench Will was on, she jumped up onto it and sat on the backrest. "So, how exactly do you two know each other anyways? I mean, I know this place is small world and all, but this is still strange." Kofuku looked down at the bench seat where a couple drops had escaped to from her ice cream, then look a few long licks to try to eat the melting dessert.

There was a couple more coughs and then Will seemed to be fine. Thought now he was rubbing his forehead with one hand. He wisely chose to remain silent. Kofuku seemed to be the queen of awkward situations.
Again he tried to drink his water as Komashi came trotting over to sit at his feet.

A corner of her mouth lifted, shifting on her feet to walk over, throwing away the cup of ice cream that only had one bite taken out of it once she had gotten closer to the bench where they seemed to be gathering.
"We work for the same company," she replied, keeping the specifics... vague when in public. "I don't think its very surprising at all, we know a lot of the same people."
This much was obvious to her, the chances of them knowing the same Rockets was very likely, even if he was at another branch than the main HQ.
Faleen crossed her arms. "I was down at the branch doing maintenance."

A smirk came over her face and Kofuku stifled a snicker; 'maintenance' huh? Oh Faleen had so walked into that one. Hardly able to bite back the comment, she quickly took a big bite of her ice cream. "So... you go down there and give him a pokemon? Kinda sounds like there's more to this story than what you're telling me."
Glancing over at Will, she leaned over and nudged him with her knee. "And you're quiet, even for being you."

There was a noticeable frown on Will's face when Kofuku kneed him, and he gave a sigh. He didn't much appreciate the teasing it seemed.
"Its as she said. We're just friends." And that was that as far as he was concerned.

A finger tapped against her elbow lightly, her features still, but the tensing between her eye brows showed a more stern, and unappreciative feel to Faleen's demeanor.
"Remember Kofuku, I gave you that Totodile too," she pointed out.
It was very clear that Faleen was not amused, especially with Will right there, it was rude to him as well as to her.
Instead she sought to direct the subject in a different direction.
"Anyway, since we all know each other I suppose introductions are unnecessary. How is Komashi doing?"
She had been genuinely curious how things would go with the Growlithe.

Laughing a little and rubbing the back of her head, Kofuku flashed a guilty smile to Faleen. "That's right! Hercules took a while to get around to trusting me too." And with that, she dropped the subject of any underlieing romantic plans.
"So what have you been up to, Will? It's seriously been way too long since we last hung out. Even longer than since I last got some good one on one time with Faleen, and she lives with me!" When Faleen asked how Komashi was doing, she fell silent and watched the Growlithe a bit before speaking again. "Does it play well with others?"

"Uh... well. Not much other than the usual, really." Work work work. That's what consumed most of his time. He hardly had time for himself, and when he did, it was usually spent with his Pokemon and sometimes Faleen.
As the conversation turned to Komashi though, Will smiled a little. "She's doing just fine. Really enjoys the park. Uh... well she seems to. Played with an Aron the other day."

Faleen lowered her gaze back down to Komashi. "With an Aron, Steel are weak to fire aren't they?"
as she recalled this was true, this amused her, her pokemon would not be cause dead playing with psychic types, that again they didn't really play that much anyway.
She glanced over at Kofuku "I suppose everyone gets busy, I started considering the fact that you were transferred out of the HQ."
thinking about work Faleen looked back over to Will "you know what I considered looking into? With all this talk about flying with pokemon, I think I might want to see about learning my way around a helicopter" This idea seemed to make her very pleased "Don't you think that would be fun?"

Kofuku sweatdroped a little at the mention of being transfered out of the HQ. As much as certain higher ups would probably have preferred it that way, it certainly hadn't been the case. "No, I've just been... tied up. Between studies and some personal matters, it really hasn't left me much time free when you've been free." She offered her besty an apologetic smile. "Maybe we need to plan a girl's night out or something. movies, popcorn, food that's high in fat and grease."
At the mention of Faleen's newest interest, she tilted her head to the side to listen a bit. "That sounds like it could be fun.... Maybe you can teach me how to hot-wire one." Hot-wiring: the best technique a thief could know for a quick escape.
Pulling her pack over to her front, she fished through one of the pockets and pulled out a pokeball. After inspecting it for a moment, she realized that she had no idea exactly who was inside of the device. "Well... I hope this is who I think it is" she muttered, releasing the pokemon for a playmate with Komashi. Unfortunately, judging by the cresent fallen look when the black and white colored umbreon appeard, it was not who she'd wanted. "Crap....."

"They are, but just because they have opposing types doesn't mean they can't get along."
Will listened again as Kofuku and Faleen talked back and forth. Ah, so that explained why he hadn't seen Kofuku in a while. She was busy with her studies of... being a nurse or something if he remembered right.
Faleen's interest in helicopters drew a small grin from him though. "I think that would be great for you." Considering she didn't seem all that keen on flying with Pokemon, and of course her love of machines.
When Kofuku's Umbreon appeared though, a brow raised behind his visor. He mentally had to admit he'd never seen an Umbreon with rings colored like that before. "Nice Umbreon."

"Hot-wire a helicopter? I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to figure out, but if you can't fly one it might be a little impractical. If you really wanted to learn I could teach you how to hot-wire ground vehicles, thats a useful skill to know" she offered instead,
She wasn't even sure how she was going to learn how to fly a helicopter, she just wanted to. would be something to look into.
She nodded to Will, opening her mouth to say something to him when Kofuku released one of her pokemon,
Faleen did a double take when she saw a white ringed Umbreon, mouth still open slightly, but no sound coming out for a few moments.
"... When did you get an Umbreon?"
clearly taken by surprised, and even pleased, her eyebrows arching a little.

Kofuku pinched the bridge of her nose, shooting an annoyed glare at her pokemon; just the site of Sirius made her head hurt. "Nice Umbreon my sorry a**... She's been a pain ever since I found her in the HQ at Christmas. I should have known something was wrong since she was stealing twinkling lights and chewing on door frames."
Sirius blinked in the bright sunlight, looking around with her wide eyes. She seemed pretty normal at the moment, and she carefully approached the Growlithe, her ears pressed back.
"Anyways, about hot-wiring cars... that I actually already know how to do." Fuku gave a smirk to Faleen, pleased with where this was going. "So if it's anything like that, it could be exciting to hot-wire a copter."

Komashi wagged her tail as the Umbreon approached. Taking a step forward and tilting her nose towards the dark type in order to sniff at her.
Will couldn't help but be confused as Kofuku's behavior towards the Pokemon. "Why, what's wrong with it?" He asked, thinking that the Umbreon looked fine and well behaved.
He couldn't very well contribute to the discussion of.. hot wiring things, since he didn't actually know how to do it.
