This is a very tiny part of an article from Kerrang about Green Day from about three years ago, its kinda long so sorry but it made me laugh - the whole article did, anyways here it is:
Billie Joe Armstrong enters the room. Thinner than he's been for a very long time, the singer puts on a black shirt and a white tie. Photographer Paul Harries tells Armstong that he looks like a member of the hives. Not having heard this, I also tell him that he looks like a member of the hives.
"That's what he just said," says Billie Joe, cocking his head towards the camera.
I think your ripping them off.
It's then pointed out that, many years ago, Billie Joe Armstrong used to sport a black shirt but with a red tie.
"Thats right," he says, nodding away. Then, raising one eyebrow and speaking in a tone of voice you might hear in the final episode of "Ironside", he says, "So I ask you this: who's ripping who off?"
Sorry that its so long but it so funny and I love it!!!

I doubt it could be considered a quote, but if you listen to their messages on greenday.com, there's a weird noise that Mike kinda makes when he's thinking.
It's hard to put into words, but I guess in type for it may look something along the lines of "uuUUuuUuuhh...."
It sounds very cute, anyway.
