Hey guys! I guess I should've said hello last night, but it was pretty late and all that.
I wonder... should we extend an invite to any devs or other Gaia staff?

Thard_Verad Hey guys! I guess I should've said hello last night, but it was pretty late and all that. I wonder... should we extend an invite to any devs or other Gaia staff? i was thinking the same thing at some point, i guess it would make it a bit easier for them to see our ideas and such, i don't think it would hurt to at least send them an invitation or a link to the guild so they can browse

I actually included an invite to Mavdoc, and attempted one to [ JK ], but it didn't seem to work - I'll have to do that via PM. Those are the only staff members I know at all, personally, so I wasn't going to presume upon anyone else. If you've got any thoughts on who else might want an invite, though, feel free to invite them... 3nodding

When I mentioned I had three people in mind, I meant the devs.

I would my mine, but to each its own.
Uh, speaking of which, time to stop being lazy, brb, writing.

I think posting here and posting in z!F posits slightly different goals - posting in z!F tends to give more of a picture of general user interest (all those "I like it" posts), whereas posting here is (ideally) a good way to make sure the idea comes out polished. Personally, I'd let my ideas kick around in here for a while, until I had some confidence in the product, then throw it into z!F to see how they feel about it.
That is, specifically, the bigger ideas. The little idea threads (like ideas for singular animated) don't really stand to elicit much user interest anyhow, unless they're really spectacular - and if they're that, you can usually tell without a dozen other people telling you so... sweatdrop

I'll probably eventually cross-post some of the suggestions I'll post in here, once polished, to make sure they're seen by the devs and get moar feedback. Feedback good! D:< Stray thought: how can some players play the whole game without learning how to Rage up? Eh, they're taught to click. To Rage you need to hold down the cursor for a little while whilst you already have some rage gathered up. How likely is that to happen if you've been taught to click? You have no reasons to keep that cursor down. Still, If somehow it happened, how likely are you to notice? Understand? It's not intuitive, like pushing a controler's button long and hard to jump farther , and the conditional feedback is stuck in that corner. Needs work. The raging up animation discussed elsewhere is part of a possible solution. FEEDBACK. RAWR. Hmmm... bit of a stretch... maybe have a pulling action, as if you were drawing a bow, pulling on a corde...[/stray thought]

No. Not "A" animation per ring... Just having ANY animation while charging rage to any ring. It would hint people that something is happening, and they'd do it more often.
It's Val's thread on technical he's referring to.
Well, I just spent 45 minutes writing my thread on technical board, I need rest from the guild now.

Atrash the Squidmonger Instead, it's a card based wargame focused on dirty business techniques. I always imagined a zOMG card game counter-part, along with Gaia characters. O: What happened to [JK]'s zOMG cards thread though? Were the cheap Aquarium-dropped collectible cards, it? D:
