Picking up a knife and fork, he begun to eat slowly, careful not to pour gravy everywhere. It was a difficult task but if a man could take on a noseless hairless freak bent on world domination, he could eat gravy covered food without mess.

 Evelyn's food wasn't hitting the spot, so she picked up her menu once more. "I'm craving something... I just don't know what it is." She said aloud, hoping to get some help in that area.

"Great idea." Evelyn nodded as she looked closer at the menu, finding something that had always cheered her up as a child. "I'll take the macaroni and cheese, please." She spoke as if talking to a waiter, gifting her dinner date with a smile, and hoping he hadn't found her childish for choosing such a simple entree.
The cheesy aroma was unlike anything else, quickly taking Eve back to the days when her grandmother would make her lunch after playing a long game of Wizard's Chess. It only took one bite for her to realize she had made the perfect choice. "Mmm. Thanks for the suggestion." She smiled at the mysterious man as he seasoned his dinner.

Evelyn let loose a gentle smile, looking into the gorgeous green eyes of the man sitting next to her. "You know, I had actually been hoping they would plan one. I was a little upset to find out that they decided against it because one had been held back in October, I believe. However, that was long before I even knew of this job opening." Eve looked down at the table, picturing the dances she had attended at Hogwarts when she had been a student. They were something that she had never gotten tired of.

Evelyn looked around the hall and let out a quiet sigh. "Do you know by chance if they're planning any entertainment for the night? Looking at you just ain't getting it done for me. Not that you're not entertaining enough. Your past is truly inspiring." She asked, the hint of a smile spreading slowly across her face.

Not wanting to make it sound as if his idea was ingenious, she took a moment to answer, pretending to be deciding. "Well...it is rather boring here...and I have finished my dinner. I suppose an exploration of the grounds doesn't sound too bad. Where would you like to go?" Not wanting to seem as if it was his fault for her boredom, she threw in a smile at the end of her question.

"Hmm..." Evelyn sifted deep into her thoughts, searching for something better, something more satisfying toward her sense of adventure. "Actually..." She brought up in a mild tone, letting a smile slip out from behind her mysterious demeanor. "What do you think about taking a stroll through the forbidden forest? I heard there's been a growing number of unicorn sightings and that would just put me over the rainbow. I could use a little fresh air." Eve ordered herself some fire whiskey and watched the glass refill over and over again each time she emptied it. sipped the burning liquid slowly.

Evelyn smirked, taking the gentleman's hand and allowing him to help her out of her seat. "We shall." She replied swiftly, throwing the royal blue cloak that had been hanging on the back of her chair over her relaxed shoulders, and preparing to take their evening stroll. Eve glanced up at the dark ceiling, trying to determine what the weather would be like on a night such as this.[[Technically I'm already in the Forbidden Forest lol.]]
