Nyyrikki couldn't help but flash Rain a grin as she came to join them. Their similar styles hadn't failed to register to him. She wore the style well, and that wasn't lost on him either. She was a cool ghoul, he could tell.
When she commented on her turn at stirring he furrowed his brows. He clicked his tongue. "Hey now. None of that. You don't suck. We're all new to this, so it's not like you should be perfect. Just try again next time." His kushi had paused long enough to give a sagely nod, though he doubted whether the thing actually understood a word he'd said, and then scrambled over the Witch, where it seemed to be making a thorough examination.

Was that everyone for the first go-round . . . ? Aksaja looked around, then frowned. Waitaminute. Why was Calder not even OVER here yet? "Hey, Calder!" he called out toward the other boil. "Get your butt over here and stir this stuff already!"

There was something.. so satisfying about the fact that Calder was slacking. Riley couldn't help but get up again, and have another turn at adding her FEAR into the mix. It's odd, that all of our FEAR will be in here together, she murmured to the group as a whole. Strangely intimate. What kind of candy would all of us combined make..?
She was suddenly even more glad Calder hadn't come over yet. This distracted her so thoroughly, this time around, that she barely put any FEAR in at all.

"They might. If not, you could probably get someone to make one for you," Jericho said to Nyyrikki in regards to the hamster leash. Furrowing his brow as Calder had yet joined them at the table, he shook his head and took his turn.
Focusing his FEAR, he controlled the output to the best of his ability, getting in just the right amount as he stirred.

"I think they sell all sorts of crazy things at the maul. It wouldn't be surprising if they had one that small." Daisuke smiled looking back at Nyyrikki before he started to encourage Rain. He gave a nod in agreement, to both him, then looked at Jericho. Who was also right.
He watched as the rest took their turns wondering why Calder hadn't jumped in to mixing his candy yet, when everyone started taking their next turns.
He waited, flicking one unsure glance at the kelpie then followed on to his second go, feeling bad about moving on without the poor guy taking his first go but he supposed they needed to get the assignment done.
He tried to concentrate his Fear but it didn't work out too well...

Hmph . . . well, if he wanted to slack off, it wasn't really the lightning dragon's problem. With a little shrug, Aksaja moved up to the cauldron again to stir, glancing at the others with a bit of a grin.
"I know one thing, however this turns out, it'll be interesting."
Concentrating then, he smirked faintly as he felt like a satisfying amount of his FEAR was getting into the mixture. This wasn't so hard!

Round 1
Calder had remained in the back. He knew no one here and disliked Riley, so he lingered and petted Fester, his pet leech. For now, he was his only friend in his group, and he sighed to himself. When at last it seemed it was time for him to come up, he stepped over and took a moment to look at everyone. No one was pleased with him, but who could blame him. He wasn't really part of this group. Most of them he only saw with Riley. He took the large spoon used for stirring and added his own fear before people became impatient with him more than he already was. He concentrated hard, and added it slowly, but not too slow, and stopped when he feared it was getting too much. The end result was a perfect dose of Fear.

He wasn't doing bad at all. Good in fact. He remained close by but still feeling out of place, and when it seemed he was up to go again, slipped in, ears down, and tried again. Again, not perfect, but still a good addition of Fear.

"Nice of you to join us, Hooved-and-Dainty." He gave Calder a friendly smiley and took the spoon from him when he was done. "Not bad."
He was up again for adding in his FEAR. Unfortunately, he appeared to be less that concentrated, and it made no real effect. Such was the side effect of not really caring about his education. He shrugged his shoulders, seemingly not all that worried. He figured someone else would be able to make up for his lack of concentration. Looking to Rain, he motioned to the concoction as if making a point - look, I didn't do so hot either.

At Nyyrikki's advice, she decided she would not give up quite yet. She was comforted slightly by the support that came from him and Daisuke though she felt awful that Nyyrikki failed. Was that her fault? Had her bad luck rubbed off on him? She blushed furiously and went about trying to add Fear into the mix.
Of course, this time, she added way too much and the mixture bubbled slightly before settling back down. Uh oh, what did she just do? Would this be seen as an improvement at least?
Witch had been sitting down on the table the whole time. She reached over and patted Rain's hand gently, trying to lend her support.

Seeing everyone take their turns with varying degrees of success, Jericho went ahead to add his FEAR once more. He tried to get the same output as he did the last time around. It wasn't quite perfect, but he still managed to get a good amount of it into the mixture.
Letting out a breath, he looked to the others to see who would go next.

Oh, there was Calder. Now the mixture was ruined. Tainted. Disgusting. She didn't even want to put any more of her FEAR in it. Except.. class > rivalry. So, she did. But only a little bit. A really, really little bit.
She felt dirty doing even that.

Daisuke walked up after Riley deciding to get the last round over and done with. Airi was keeping herself occupied by rolling on her back on the floor and pawing at the air for some unknown reason, which he raised his brow at then decided to work on the mixture.
His flow was weak but at least he managed to get some in. He then returned to his seat leaning down to stroke Airi as he waited for the others to take their turns.

He had done well so far, so he was expecting the worse, but at least those first two times, he had excelled. With what few times he could say that in any class, he felt a little proud. Just a tad, but with so many people that were in Riley's inner circle around him, he wasn't about to challenge her outright and point it out. Still, this entire class was dragging on. Fester, his pet leech, was falling asleep on his head, clearly bored, but he petted him once and went over to take the spoon and give it one more go. The faster he did this, the faster this class would be over.
