rufus is acting, but he was hiding the neck from kaj and them, and thats the best part, when he absorbs it and sephiroth returns, its so cool ^_^ blaugh 3nodding

First of all, it's Jenova's HEAD. HEAD. Not neck, HEAD. Secondly, Rufus is BARELY hurt, he's just pretending he is. And did a good job of it, too. Also, Rufus is trying-and failing- to hide his GEOSTIGMA.(in all caps 4 people who don't know how to spell it.)

Actually it's Jenova's head in all the versions I've seen, including the english version.
Although... it's a pretty small box for a head. xd

He was hiding his badly damage body. Hes covering all his bandages and he was hinding "JENOVA"

Constantine Wolf No Rufus did not go through the Soldier process, and even if he did, that wouldn't effect his chances of getting Geostigma at all. Cloud had it along his arm, and he has been through Soldier training, but Denzel had it too, and he hasn't been through the training. Rufus was injured by the Diamond Weapon attack on Midgar. Would you not be after having nearly an entire floor fall on you? But my question is this, unless his legs are infected with the Geostigma, why is it taking him so long to recover? After all, this was based two years after FFVII. i so totally agree with u.but umm u know like u said pretty much the whole room collapsed on him and u know maybe his injury is that bad. either way Rufus is still kickin a** in that wheelchair.

*SPOILERS!* He's hiding Jenova's head under the white sheet, supposedly trying to conceal the illness and injuries of Geostigma under it. He's perfectly capable of walking around too. The wheelchair is supposed to help him with his fatigue issue from Geostigma and it's all actually just an act. Whose gonna injure a guy in a wheelchair?
Kadaj was pretty surprised and so was I...I suppose that's why I fell for him.

Rufus is in a wheelchair and has the bandages on him because he was badly injured by diamond weapon. He also has geostigma. He has on the robe to hide his injuries. He is faking the wheelchair thing because hes hiding Jenovas head or something in a box.

Tosh_Crimson Well he's faking the wheelchair thing and he is hiding JENOVA'S HEAD not really a wheelchair makes it easier of him to hide Jenova's head on him and if anyone remembers he has Geostigma and one of the symptoms of geostigma is extreme fatigue (get's tired incredibly easy) so no he's not faking he's using it to reserve his energy 3nodding
