"You don't deserve a better nickname, not until -I- see you as an ace." She had to admit, his laughter as the boot came to hit him caught her a little off guard. Was he masochistic, perhaps? He seemed to be smiling the whole time they fought...
Cards in the face. Augh. It was easy for him to fling her aside, him also being a lieutenant meant they were equal in power.... But she had experience. She managed to flip and land with a skidding halt. "Not bad, pup." A pause.
"Attack me."

By the time Fayalite had righted herself he had vanished and re-summoned his weapon, shuffling the cards in his hand for a moment as he watched again to see what her next move would be.
"Attack you?" His brow lofted slightly as she gave her command, smirk curving his lips as he shuffled the deck once more before springing into action. "My pleasure." The cards were thrown again, once again attempting to use them as a distraction as he lunged at her. He'd never been much for football, but he figured that short of getting into some sort of slapping fight (he was not going to punch a girl...) this would be the best way to knock her over and gain some sort of advantage without having a useful weapon or any of those 'powers' that Scheelite had told him he'd have.

She saw it coming, cards to the face. Seemed to be a move he did a lot.....effective, but once hit with it? It was expected. She covered her face with her arm, protecting it from the cards. "Papercuts hmm?" She called, a moment before she felt the tackle.
She let out a small squeak, and the impact DID send her backwards. Grasping onto him though, she let herself roll with the hit... using his own energy to continue the rolling until they stopped, and she landed on top of the man with a smirk. "Pinned you." She was unsure if he would get the ref, but DAMN IT she liked her movies and disney was no exception!

Richterite groaned as his back hit the ground, waiting for a moment for the shock of the pain to subside before throwing his weight back up against her to start the roll all over again. He tried to make sure that she went down a bit harder this time, hoping to at least attempt to daze her or something to keep her from winding up with the upper hand again. All in all, he was at least learning something important from all of this...
Fighting with girls sucked.

With another rather undignified squeak he started the rolling again. Oddly enough, the rolling continued on the flat ground for a little while. Both of them seemed unwilling to give up... she HAD gone down harder that time but she was jsut AS stubborn if not more stubborn than he was.
Finally, they landed again... Rik once again being the one on bottom. "...Pinned you again." The lieutenant said flashing a all too familiar grin. "You are making this way too easy."

"God. Lion King references? Really, pussycat?" His brow lofted as he shifted beneath her, trying to get a bit more comfortable while refusing to let his by now all-to-familiar smirk falter. "Just so you know..." He murmured, eyes catching hers as his hands slid up to her sides.
"If you crack me over the head with that stick of yours? I'm totally going to snatch it and take off."
See. He was well versed in his Disney too.

"HEY your the one whom tackled first, Pup." She said, smirk matching his. APPARENTLY they both had something in common. That being? They were both assholes and they liked Disney.
Differences? He was a touchy feely kind of a*****e and SHE did not like that.
"HANDS OFF." She growled, not really taking the threat as much and sending the pole of hers down to wack the other lieutenant over the head. "Ha. You See? So what are you going to do? " Oh the lion king refs, she was about to start calling the man Simba but thats too dignified for him... no he will remain pup.
Maybe she will name him Ed.
Seemed fitting.

"Ow!" His brow furrowed as she cracked him in the head, one hand coming up to rub at the now tender spot for a moment before he did just as he'd said he would...
Richterite's hands shot out and he took a firm hold of Fayalite's lantern pole, giving it a firm tug before flipping the female Lieutenant off of him. He was grinning as he pushed himself up off of the ground, holding her weapon up in triumph before taking off across the green grass. "Told you I was going to take your stick!"

Oh god DAMNIT he DID take her stick!
Something she realized a second too late, as she fell over rather undignified on her a**. "HEY!" She called, lowering her eyes irritated. This Lieutenant was so infuriating! Its like he knew JUST what to do to dance on her nerves!
She started to give chase, that was HER weapon damnit!
And then...after a minute or so of chasing. She remembered something. "Oh GOD ********." She didnt like him, he caused her to forget things! With a snap of her fingers, she sent the 'stick' back to the subspace.

He paused as the weapon disappeared from his hands, eyes wide and a child-like pout forming on his lips as he tried his hardest not to sulk... And then a broad grin took its place as he glanced over his shoulder to the lady lieutenant. "I told you I was going to take your stick if you hit me with it, didn't I, kitten? And really, what kind of language is that for a lady?"

"Language of the gods, also language of i-will-kick-your-a**-anese. I am not as fluent as some of the other nega officers." She smiled now, pausing her talk. "But i am learning."
"..You will too." She said now, all joking aside for a moment.
"Seriously though." She said, crossing her arms over her chest. " We should patrol together sometime, pup."

"Sometime when we're not being yanked into each other's dreams, you mean?" His brow lofted as he made his way towards her, slowly closing the gap between them. "Might not be a bad idea. I think I've learned a good bit tonight... Enough to at least help me stick it out a bit longer, at the very least." His own seriousness mostly cast aside, his smirk slipped back into place.
"Just don't go telling everyone you were dreaming about me... I wouldn't want to get the reputation of being the easy new Lieutenant, would I? Don't miss me too much before then, pussycat."
That said, he began to fade from her vision before she could either slug him or curse him out again. Thank goodness for morning in Elysion...
