Denebola hated the idea of retreating, even if it was her best, and perhaps only, option available. It was her pride, and sometimes her blind bravery, that led her into battles that she often lost but had the difficulty fleeing from. She grit her teeth together as she glared at the lieutenant wanting nothing more than to storm over and punch her in the face to get her to shut the hell up but she didn't. Instead she took in a shaky breath and weighed her options as the other girl went off about how pathetic senshi were.
She wanted nothing more than to launch herself at the other girl and claw her eyes out but she stopped herself. Her instincts were telling her that it was time to pack up and go no matter how much she didn't want to. If she wanted to survive and not have someone grabbing for her starseed again then it was time for her to go.
She clenched her fists together as she dug her heel into the ground before pushing off, backwards. "This isn't over," she hissed as she twisted her body in the air and took of running. She may have lost the fight but the war had just begun.

Blast! Petalite made a mistake that she would be sure to not make again. Note to self: Monologuing is a bad idea She watched the senshi run off, glaring a hole into her back. She could follow her of course, but the fight hadn't exactly been an easy one and the only thing she wanted to do right now was turn in her energy and go home.
Walking into the shadows she powered down, becoming just another citizen of Destiny City on their way home.
