It was almost as if Fallon sensed Jada approaching her. She turned at the last moment to catch the darker-haired girl in a full embrace, submitting to the warm kiss. Jada was one of the few people who was permitted such unguarded closeness. They had been friends before, but now that she knew the girl to also be Eternal Sailor Scylla, a Mercenary within the Blood Moon Court, Fallon had begun to appreciate Jada more than ever. It was certainly worth schlepping it over to her party at the Mudville Grill, at the very least.

"The group certainly looks interesting," she mused, stepping out of the hug. "Is that Kirin? Wow, it's been... a while."

With everything that had happened that year, Fallon had oddly enough found the mystery of Barren Pines to be somewhat of a bore now. Back then, back before she was awakened as Ares, it was all she could ever think about, all that filled her dreams. Like all the other surviving civilians, Fallon remembered everything that happened at Barren Pines -- at least up until the very first student had died. After becoming Ares, she had the missing pieces filled in for her, even where her own recollection failed.

But now Barren Pines was little more than an afterthought. Seeing Kirin here, remembering mornings spent making breakfast for all those people, most of them dead... it brought a strange nostalgia to Fallon, one she promptly shook off, diverting her attention instead to the bouncy hostess standing right in front of her.

"I think I'll float," she responded, brushing a stray hair from Jada's shoulder. "Commit to a single location later, that sort of thing. Andeon said he might stop by so..." Her voice trailed off, eyes uncertain. The atmosphere was so civilian in here. Something about it had the girl on edge. It was as if she had to play a role that night. When had her alter-ego gone from being Ares to being Fallon herself?

Her thoughts were a torrent in her head. "You should get back to your guests," she said, encouraging Jada away. "I promise not to disappear on you without warning." Fallon tried to offer an encouraging smile, but it was only mildly successful. Things were in an odd state -- she didn't feel much like partying.

But here she was, dress and all. That had to be worth something, right?

Ariel wanted to meet with Jada again. She was not able to see her lately. So when she heard about the party she decided to go. Well she just turned 17 last month and she was single so why not.
She was wearing a red mini skirt and a white top with long white boots. She was a little senshi like.
She arrived at the house and was amazed by the size. Such a big house. She hope she will not be out of place here.

Was it Kirin? Jada eyed the group, narrowing it to the redhead being 'Kirin. "I don't know," she let the words spill from her lips in a wry drawl. "I forgot to ask her name." Seeing Fallon was a good start to the evening. Jada was starting to forget, with the influx of being a senshi, what it was like to just be human. And Fallon was just as guilty of being all-work-and-no-play. She always seemed to be out on patrol, thinking up plans for the Court, ideas that they could try. Jada had opportunities to be a human ball. She had to, with her family in town and the social invitations that came her way. She had to balance that ball between socialite and senshi. Fallon-- or Ares-- didn't have anyone, what with her parents rediscovering their love, or something, and needed a place where she could stop being a warrior, and where they could just be.

A Singles Awareness Party was probably not this place, but it was a step forward.

Jada let Fallon brush a hair from her shoulder, nodding in response to Fallon's decision. "Alright. They should start bringing out food soon, if you're hungry. It is a little lower-class, but I was going for a 'fun social environment.' Mixing and Mingling, and all that. There are some movies playing too." she looked thoughtful for a moment. "And if I see anyone you know I'll send them your way. What does Andeon look like?" Yet Fallon shooed her away instead of letting her hover. Jada liked to hover, especially with those friends she felt she neglected. The look she gave Fallon was terribly reminiscent of a kicked puppy, for all of a second. Then another girl was stepping into the bar of the grill, and the heiress bounced back.

"Ariel!" she'd only seen her a couple of times since they'd met at the pool, and the girl was looking well! "I am glad you could make it. You didn't get lost getting to the Grille?" Ariel looked very nice, and her outfit was not out of place at all. "Welcome to the Mudville." It was a very casual-looking place, and the room was starting to fill up nicely. There was still room for more, though! Always room for more!

Fallon had no doubt that Jada would know Andeon if she saw him. His reputation tended to proceed him, and she had told her dark-haired friend enough stories about him to fill in any of the blanks. She pulled out her cellphone and checked the time. He was late. It wasn't surprising, but it still brought a pinch of disgust to Fallon's nose. Honestly, some people.

Magenta eyes watched Jada as she bounced away -- always bouncing, that one. It was strange sometimes to think that the same girl who hosted parties and played nice with the bigwigs of high society was also one of the most evolved senshi in all of DC. Fallon could barely keep her head straight in class; Jada had to play the civilian like a champion.

The girl at the doorway looked familiar. It took Fallon a moment to realize where she knew her from. It was Lily's party, Instinctively, Fallon turned her back to her, flattening up against the wall. Her exit from Lily's bash had been... well, rude and sudden. It was the sort of thing that Fallon would never do, the sort of thing that she harshly judged others for. And yet, at that party, the girl had felt herself on the precipice of some kind of panic attack.

What was happening to her?

With worry in her head, Fallon moved deeper into the party. Maybe she just needed a glass of water...

"I don't think im gonna be fooling anyone here." Ashley answered Kirin's inquiry with those words and an absent-minded click of the tongue. "They're probably gonna be checking pretty closely if they bothered to put signs up."

Which meant her fake id probably wouldn't fly.

Damn.

Maybe they could just skip off later ? She did give Kirin a look that could only be described as full of mischief.

"Should probably go get something to drink, through... Any of you want something ? Ill pay this round." She offered to the small group around her.

Ariel smile became more radiant when her friend was near her. She felt better now.
"Thank you, I am happy to see you. I was a little lost actually" she laughed when she remembered who it was difficult to find her way in this big house.
"But I just followed your other guests and so I was able to come. Look like a nice party"

She was looking around, trying to spot if there were other people she knew, she could see some girls from Lily birthday party. She will probably go to say Hi later, now she just wanted to spend time with Jada. She had few girl friend so Jada was really important for her.

"Actually I was not sure if I could come to a single party, but because it was your party, here I am."

Kirin's eyebrows rose, reassessing Ashley. The hinting at having a fake ID had him highly impressed. Not to mention, the brains to decide that it probably wouldn't work tonight. (It was true, the bartenders were likely to be more suspicious of IDs at a party that mostly consisted of teenagers than they would at a club where it was assumed everyone was of age.)

He eyed off Senri, who could quite possibly be of age. Perhaps Kirin could bum a drink off him later.

"Just a coke?" he asked Ashley. If he couldn't get a buzz from alcohol, then he was having a caffeine hit.

Darkish red hair caught his peripheral vision and Kirin turned to see a familiar face going past. "Fallon!" he impetuously called out, then paused to wonder what had happened to investigating sneakily. Ah well, it was a party, after all. Might as well relax a little. "We're getting drinks, do you want something?"

Fallon paused her walk and turned to face the redhead who had called to her. "Kirin," she said, smiling politely. "It's so good to see you. I hope you've been well." It was a generic response, the kind that Fallon seemed to always be full of. She closed the distance between them, eyes flashing to the others standing with Kirin. The girl looked familiar. It took Fallon a moment before she realized it was one of the guests from Lily's party -- the same party she had rudely torn out of just a week or two ago.

"I don't think I know your friend," she said, extending a hand to Ashley. "I'm Fallon."

Magenta eyes flicked to the bar. She would adore a nice red wine, but Fallon didn't much believe in breaking rules, not unless necessary. Rules were the key to the world's order. "A tonic water sounds nice," she said offhandedly.

Yes, Fallon was, in fact, a 65-year-old man.

Lily frowned as she was pushed into the singles awareness party blushing like there was no tomorrow. She turned to give her sister an earful, only to realize the girl had slithered off leaving Lily standing awkwardly by the door wondering why she was here.

Valentine's day had not been her day in the least, she had been content to enjoy some pajama time in her room studying, well actually thinking about senshidom, until her sister found her and wrestled almost bodily into an appropriate outfit, hair pinned back, and declared they were going out. What was her reasoning again? Really how could Lily forget. Her words had been because really 17, pretty, and perfectly socially inept just wouldn't do for a sister of hers.

That irritated Lily just thinking about it. She was not socially inept, just because she did not spend her time partying and had gotten 'sick' at her birthday party and ditched it. She couldn't help, but to frown moodily at the situation she was in.

She was none to fond of the shirt her sister deemed appropriate for her and on top of that all her attempts to pin it shut were thwarted and she felt that any second her sister would dart out and embarrass her with a scolding if she tried it again.

Sighing she shifted her weight from one foot before walking away from the door a few feet before just stopping once more not knowing what to do.

Chase accepted Senri's hand easily, as if it was second nature. "Pleasure is all mine," he replied though it seemed to just a standard response. He felt as though he had seen the other male around before, but it could have just been the fact that the other boy was a model and as a result, relatively well-known. He'd find out later regardless.

His amber gaze turned toward Jada before she flitted off to greet Fallon and nodded his head in a greeting. "It's quite the party," he complimented as more people filed through the doors. He took a second to look at the others that had clustered eyes lingering on Ashley for a moment. He smiled sympathetically at Kirin and shook his head. "Fraid not," he wished he was of legal drinking age, unfortunately he was a couple of years away and while he looked fairly old his fake id wouldn't work either. Not if they paid too much attention.

He shook his head at Ashley's offered. "Nah," he wouldn't let a girl buy drinks for him. He watched as Fallon greeted the purple haired girl before his eyes found Lily. He waved, "Yo, Lils!"

Kirin shrugged easily at Fallon's generic-polite greeting. He was exactly the same most of the time, his manners rote and devoid of any actually emotion or interest behind them. For Fallon, he made an exception, seeing as how she'd been his dorm's personal breakfast chef for over a month. "So-so," he replied. "Can't do worse than Barren Pines, really, can we? Public school is boring, but no one's trying to cut me open or kill me."

Thankfully the organ ring had been well publicised when it happened, so even if someone found his comments strange, a little investigation would turn up someone completely unrelated to the 'terrorists' of Destiny City.

"So looking forward to graduating. You?" he asked Fallon.

The nickname 'Lils' meant little to Kirin, but when he turned to see who Senri's new friend was yelling at, he recognised Lily from their karaoke outing. He lifted a hand and waved, not about to yell across the room like Chase, but not at all against the singer joining their little group.

Lily looked up rather surprised to hear her name called out and then her eyes landed on Chase and she couldn't help, but to smile. It seemed she knew someone there. Her eyes flitted around the boy and noticed it seemed that she knew a lot of someones there. She released a sigh of pure relief, nervousness about her outfit forgotten, her ire at her sisters undignified words pushed to the back of her head and waved.

"Hey Chase," she said excitedly making her way over.

Looking around she quickly gave out a couple more greetings with bright smiles, "Ashley, Kirin."

Her eyes found Fallon, but she wasn't sure if she whether she was still mad at the girl or not. Her smile faltered slightly, but she gave a almost cheerful greeting non the less, "Fallon."

She looked to Chase as she reached him, "Rose thinks I am socially inept because I don't party, but more because I don't have a boyfriends," she said relaying her sisters words to her friend.

More people were coming in all the time, and it was only when Kirin went off to meet her that she realized that Fallon was here. This was the girl who had left Lily's party in a hurry, hadn't he ?

That night had been weird, so say the least. First the brown-haired girl, then Lily herself not so long afterward. Thankfully, Ashley wasn't really quick to pass judgment - she was just glad that she hadn't ended up sick.

"Nice to meet you, Fallon." The purple-haired girl was all smiles, taking the offered hand. "Im Ashley."

"Lily ! Hey !" She all but beamed, thankfully once the redhead had come closer. "Alright, a coke, tonic water, anyone else ?"

He seemed pleased when his redheaded friend joined them. Though the two saw each other fairly regularly it was always a delight to see her in a new environment, especially when it was outside her comfort zone. "Well you look great," he replied after she explained how and why she ended up at the Grille. He took a second to let his eyes roam over her outfit casually.

It definitely wasn't something he'd expect to see her in but he had to admit that she looked rather stunning. "I'd hardly say you were social inept," he chuckled. "Relationships are overrated right?" He stuck his hands in his pocket as he waited for her answer.

He was at the party because it was the chance to mingle with others who were comfortable enough with themselves to not have to be locked in a relationship. He wasn't one for commitment, not often.

Lily turned about as red as her hair at the compliment suddenly remembering her very low cut shirt, but the compliment which oddly she was not use to receiving was nice. "Thanks Chase. Rose picked it out, she practically had to wrestle me into it, but I think, I guess it was worth it. You look great too, that vest is kind of cool."

Lily smiled happily, "I am glad you do not think I am socially inept. Relationships are so overrated. Ive got lots of friends and my sister can kick it right," she said laughing lightly.

Lily looked over to Ashley wondering what she was asking about and so she asked, "Anything else for what Ashley. Sorry I guess I'm a little late to the party. You look great by the way.
