@ Duo Now: Welcome to the Library. I have links in the Arena and Daggerfall sub-forums that will let you download those games for free courtesy of Bethesda for TES’s 10th and 15th B-day. Don’t worry too much about the Lore it’s not like I plan for this to be some hardcore discussion’s like you would find on the TES forums at Bethesda Forums.
@ Bright: Welcome to the Library. I’m the opposite I always ended with a character that does magic in some form of another.
@ Bryce (Sadist Sedated): Welcome to the Library. That’s fine I’m not going to be overly strict when it comes to posting, I put that in there so people wouldn’t think that they could join and then never post ever.

Location: Townsville, Australia - will be in Würzburg, Germany for the first half of this year.
Brief Introduction: I've been playing the Elder Scrolls games since shortly after seeing a family friend looting barrels around Balmora as a Khajiit on the Xbox version of Morrowind back in 2002. I met my best friend (and now girlfriend, one of two partners) through our mutual love of Morrowind as well as the Redwall books, and we waited for Oblivion together.
I've purchased far too many copies of Morrowind and Oblivion over the years, mostly due to GotY editions coming out, changing between Xbox/PC, and losing (or having friends "borrow") copies - apparently my piracy instincts turn to compulsive over-buying when in the presence of the Elder Scrolls series. I much prefer to play on PC~

My first exposure to TES was when Morrowind first came out, and being the silly 11 year old I was, I didn't like it. A couple years ago my brother threw a GOTY copy of Oblivion at my head -- for anyone thinking this is a good way to make people play new games, I don't recommend it because that hurts lol -- and I was hooked. I've since played Morrowind again and enjoyed it too, and I've already got my brother to pre-order Skyrim since it comes out the month after my birthday. Let's see... oh, and I sort of write fanfic. I don't have any posted yet since I'm still fine tuning, but just thought I'd add that for anyone who might be into that sort of thing. And thank you for the invite biggrin Here I am at these crossroads again,

Brief Introduction: Hello, and thanks for the invite! The only Elder Scrolls game I've played so far is ESIV, and even though it's been a while, I've thought about getting it and maybe Morrowind for the PC now that I have a nice laptop. I really enjoyed the game while I was playing (and so did my brother, to the point where I had to delete older files for room on the 360's hard drive), and it got me interested in Fallout 3 (and now the rest of the series) before it was released.
I'm also part of an active RP/cosplay thread and guild here on Gaia, which has gotten me into more RPing. ...Along with new TV shows, games, movies, etc. <3

The Collectors Edition, which ended up getting cracked sad Then I went and got the regular copy of the game, which I played until the GOTY came out. And since I didn't have Live at the time and I needed to play The Shivering Isles I picked up the GOTY as well.

@ Shoemy89: Welcome to the Library. I hear you on the needing more room on the 360's HDD. Atm TESIV takes up the most room on my HDD.

I can't think of many other games that players would buy several copies of, and years after release! whee My Collector's Edition of Oblivion was demolished by a friend's xbox after being left in there too long, I'm glad they don't put anything special on the game disk because that would make the whole experience of buying a new copy a lot more painful. The only thing I don't like so much is re-downloading all of my mods... thankfully the last time I installed Morrowind I found a torrent of graphics enhancement and essential mods from a "Morrowind Modding Guide" someone made - so I just ran it from there. I should try to find one for Oblivion.
