Lolani let the Lion take the food away without complaining. It was his food, after all, and there would be more at home.
Actually, she should probably be getting back to her mom now. But she didn't know the way from the ground, and their weren't any handy rocks around to let her have a boost into the trees.
There was only one thing to do.
"Can you give me a boost back into the trees, Mr. Lion?"

Lusala smiled in amusement. The cub had eaten too much to get back into the tree. "Sure, you little glutton." He stood up and gave her a boost back into the tree. "Going to find your way home from the tree?" He guessed. "Then I suppose I should say farewell. Good luck with your siblings."

"Thank you Mr. Lion!" she said as she hoisted herself back onto one of the largish limbs.
"Maybe when I'm big I can give you some of my antelope. Good bye!"
With that, she turned tail and vanished into the canopy.
