Amy folded up her rifle. She carefully went down to A-mi's level. She looked away from the Geth, to avoid glaring at the girl. She went downstairs to where the other two were. She waited for them to be done talking to avoid interrupting the two

Grom dismissed Cathka and walked over to Amy. "You did your job, here, the 500 credits we agreed upon. Come find me if you ever want to join the Grey wings, we could always use some people like you." Grom fiddles his omni-tool, an orange holographic gauntlet that operates a calculator, and computer, then looked back to Amy. "The money has been put in your account."

Yes sir Amy said before saluting him. She was smiling softly under her face wrap. It would take a professional to detect it in her eyes. She thought of taking him up on his offer. She turned to walk away.

Grom let a proud chuckle out, he could tell that Amy had considered his offer, as a merc who had spent 600 of his 800 years of life leading people, he could tell when he caught someone's intrest. On top of that, he killed Garm, the pest had been bothering him for months. With his death, the Blood Pack were off the Citadel, until they send in a bigger pest. "Lets get this place cleaned up."

Pardon? Amy asked. She had turned to leave to go to find another job when he said that. She heard him correctly, she was seeing if she heard him correctly or not.

"I was telling my men to clean this mess up before the bodies start stinking, its bad for buisness to decorate the place with dead bodies, especially dead Vorcha. They aren't to popular in the Terminus Systems, and they next to never show up here in Council Space.
The mercs were dragging dead bodies to the basement, where they would be stripped of gear and anything valueble, then burned. Seargent Cathka was busy directing the mercs, and soon vanished in the crowd of black and grey.

Amy nodded and watched the mercs drag the bodies away. She looked back at Grom and said I'm taking you up on your offer she had said it as if she was pointing out something normal.

"I see." Saw that coming, these kids are so predictable. "Welcome aboard kid, i'll set you up with some standard armor, you'll be entitled to living space here in this complex, I use it as a base for this branch of the group. Housing them all in this building is cheaper than buying housing blocks for them all. You'll take orders and jobs from me, and you will refer to me as "battlemaster" or "sir", if you find a job that you want, make sure you can do it on your time, and finish up any task I gave you before you do your own thing." He fiddled with his omni-tool once again, this time finishing the files for Amy's registry, which he had started doing when he hired her for this particular job. "You are now a citizen of the Citadel, you have an I.D. which my contact in C-sec will use to indentify you and help you out in any way he sees fit. Any questions?"

Grom let out a dry, raspy chuckle, typical of an old man, at the look Amy gave him. "Get used to it kid, I call everyone that, i'm 800 years old and have outlived most people on this station. The only race that can last as long as a Krogan is an Asari. I had already been in this buisness for about 400 years before your people first landed on your planet's moon, you Humans are all kids to me."

I did not survive 2 years of being tortured by the geths, to be called "kid"..better get used to it though Amy thought to herself. She looked up at the man and asked anything else I should know

A-mi stood next to Amy. "With the death of Garm, we believe things on the Citadel will be much quieter, we have also sent a report to Alex. He is pleased with how smoothly the operation went."

In the meantime, Haku started playing with a ball she forgot. She bounced it against the wall boredly and caught it.

Cathka, the Batarian seargent, passed by Haku, dragging a dead Salarian who had been shot while acting as a sniper during the attack. The corpse had a massive bullet-wound in his frail chest, made all the more grissly by the thin frame of the body. "Poor guy, got hit when we took out a Vorcha, the pest held down the trigger while it went down, a stray shot must have hit this poor sap."

Haku stopped paying attention to the ball and at the dead Salarian. She had a sad but disgusted look on her face. Right when she was about to turn back away, her ball hit her in the face causing a nose bleed. She held he nose. "Ow....that hurt...~" She wined holding her nose.
