Daisuke was already sitting down, leaning back with his palms on the blanket but at the order, he sat up a little straighter, with one knee raised and the other laid flat, resting his arm over his knee.
The breeze caught some of his hair that was wisping out at the back, he watched the fog curl around his face before brushing it back. Letting his eyes meet hers and seeing how the strands of her hair were blowing gently in to her face. Secretly, he couldn't help but admire how pretty she was and with just a little hesitation for the same reason he gave a nod at the offer of food.
Did she make the food all by herself? How sweet...
He shuffled closer, then tried to peer over, leaning a little too close to the witch as his eyes then left hers and fell to the contents of the basket.
"What did you bring?" He asked curiously, wondering if anything was decorated as brightly as the note she left under his door. "I should of brought something too... I feel bad." He chuckled lightly under his breath, honestly a little ashamed at himself but he had been so excited about just getting here, that he had been caught a little off guard.
Airi watched Binx as he changed his mind and went to lay with them. She stared a moment, then sighed and got to her feet moving over to the blanket. Pouncing over him, then laid facing him with her front paws crossed, curling her tail around her side.
See. She could behave! She gave a cheeky, little smile at the smaller cat.

The witch couldn't help but giggle as he sat up a bit straighter when she had commanded him to sit. Aww, that was sweet of him! Belladonna was momentarily distracted by the wisps of hair that turned into wisps, her pink eyes darting from strand to strand and one hand absently reaching up to touch it. She caught herself half way through and instead use the hand to tuck her own hair back, letting a nervous laugh escape before she could stop it. Aww, she was acting all nervous!
"I-uh, I brought a pasta dish!" Here she grabbed the picnic basket and dragged it closer, one hand reaching down inside to pull the contents out. "Oh, hi Lethe! Be safe in there!" The witch told the kushi, finding her stashed in one of the basket's side pockets. "Um, it doesn't have any meat. I'm a vegetarian, is that ok? I didn't know if ghosts really liked meat or not and I don't like touching meat so I didn't put any in. But if that's a problem I'm sure we can run to the creepateria real quick!" Now she was talking quickly and holding the tub of pasta to her chest with her eyebrows bunched up and she looked rather worried. "Don't feel bad! I didn't ask you to bring anything because I just wanted you to bring yourself!" She blushed beet red. "And Airi." The blush lessened. "But mostly just you." No, no that blush was back in full swing.
The cat couldn't help but let out a tiny meow of appreciation for Airi's behavior, his own kitty smile spreading as she smiled at him. "Have you been with Daisuke long?" Binx inquired with a tiny, jovial swish of his tail. For a moment he was distracted, his nose twitching as he smelled the food Belladonna was currently pulling from the basket, though she had paused to squish the tub of pasta against her chest. "Please excuse Belladonna. She's... Enthusiastic." Binx mumbled, his eyes watching Daisuke to see if he appreciated her enthusiasm as well. But he couldn't help but sit up and swish his tail in agitation because he really wanted the pet food she had brought. It smelled so yummy!

He watched as she reached her hand up, it looked like she was reaching out for him but his hope was quickly denied as she took to stroking her hair behind her ear. Then she clutched the box of pasta like she was defending it with her life.
"Of course it's ok." Daisuke gave Belladonna a reassuring smile, ghosts didn't particularly have any need to eat but he would on occasion; like this! And he didn't really mind whether she was a vegetarian or not. "I don't mind, Pasta sounds great." With a smile stretched wider he listened to her voice as it raced to get through more words at one time. He chuckled, her cheeks rose up in deep red. Bella just got cuter as the day went on.
That was good, he wasn't the only one blushing today but did that mean what he think it meant? Just mainly him? Maybe he was thinking to much in to this. He didn't want to get ahead of himself but it didn't stop the wisp blushing deeply in return to hers and looked at his converse to distract his eyes hoping his hair would hide his face enough to hide the mass blue frenzy across his pale features.
"It's ok. I know what you mean." He answered softly, slowly letting his gaze return to the witch after the blush has lessened. It was hard to fight off...
"So, Pasta?" He suggested quickly, to move on to the next topic before their blushes got the best of them again.
Airi shook her head at Binx's question. "Just since he came here. I followed him and he decided to keep me." Her eyes moved over to the ghoul, who was talking very quickly, making her wonder if her boil had done something to upset the nice lady since she wasn't paying much attention to the two's conversations. "Belladonna's nice! Did he slip up?" She tilted her head her nose wrinkling at the smell of food, focusing on them for a moment to try understand what was going on before giving up and placing her head on her paws.

While Belladonna had sat their in horrified suspension of Daisuke's reply, she couldn't help the strange thought that kept repeating in her thoughts of just what would happen if Daisuke rejected her? Perhaps it would dull that strange sinking feeling she felt in the pit of her stomach every time she looked at him and flushed a bit more. But it would only dull that and make everything worse. Of all things (dramatic or not) Belladonna felt she could not suffer Daisuke's rejection. So when he only smiled and told her it was alright, the witch let the pasta tub go and heaved a giant sigh. Later that night she would recall that moment in extensive (and largely invented) details with Binx, playing up any small thing she could recall. "Its the only pasta I know how to cook..." Belladonna admitted quietly, pulling a plate over and popping open the lid so she scoop out a portion for the ghost boy. "I have an Aunt who is a really good kitchen witch and she tried to teach me some other recipes, but I'm not very good with cooking." She couldn't help but laugh as she handed him the plate and fished out a fork for him before adding, "It doesn't really help I get bored half way through and leave whatever I'm cooking on the stove or in the oven or whatever!!" In fact, the only thing that had kept her occupied during the cooking of the pasta was the idea of Daisuke's smile when he told her how well it tasted.
Though Daisuke had mentioned he knew what she meant, Belladonna wasn't entirely sure he did. He was being so very nice to her that it was hard not to just stand up and declare what thing had been simmering inside her for the past few weeks. It was strange for her to take the lead, so instead Belladonna only scooped herself a plate and popped a noodle into her mouth. Oh thank Hecate it tastes ok... she thought to herself, taking another bite and letting a shy smile dedicate itself to the wisp before her.
A number of pets had begun following Belladonna in the same manner, so Binx only nodded his head to side as if considering the matter before giving a small smile to Airi. "That sounds nice. He seems like he treats you very well." Binx told her, his eyes darting over to where the pink bow lay fallen in the dead grass a few feet away. When Airi questioned the wisp, Binx only rolled his eyes once and shook his head. "Gracious no. Belladonna is just... Well, she's nervous really. I don't blame her really, she's a little strange. But she just wants to impress him is all." Though Binx had said quite a deal, he knew Belladonna couldn't understand and there didn't seem to be a very detailed communication path between Airi and Daisuke, so he felt it was safe to let such things slip. But the cat could not take being deprived of food any longer and instead stood up, trotted over to Belladonna and placed his front paws on her knees and let out one long, pitiful meow.
"Binx, darling? What is it? You know I don't know cat..." Belladonna turned to her familiar, setting down her plate and picking him up and nuzzling him against her face. "I'm hungry!" He whined finally, "Airi and I want some food too!" Usually he wouldn't take such whining but if it got him what he wanted (and it undoubtedly did as Belladonna suddenly dropped him to fetch the two cat food tins she had packed) it was worth it in the end.
