Kyokudai kept his calm composure, he closed his eyes, as if to escape time, and brought up his right arm, using hanki to cancel out Rey's shunko. It felt as if Kyokudai's arm and Rey's leg gently touched.
Kyokudai then instantaneously dissipated in a flash of blue and regained his figure roughly twenty feet behind Rey. Although that Hanki took a decent chunk out of his Reitasu, he would never let it show.
"Is that all you're capable of? And they put you in a captains Haori? The spirit king must be getting desperate for any poor willing do get himself slaughtered for a bit of power."
He scoffed.

((OOC: If you are unfamiliar with something then you need to have it's information opened in a new tab to keep for reference for terms and exactly how it works. If you were to lazy to look at it, then how do you know Max is telling you the truth? Always, ALWAYS look it up. Now enough ooc chatter.))

Oh well, all I got to say is...it's over." Rey stated as he unsheathed his zanpakutou. 1/4 of his reiatsu was already gone, but he wasn't gonna let that stop him. Not now atleast. "It was nice knowing you, FORGIVE ME ZUES!!" Rey stated as his zanpakutou started to change. Rey's zanpakutou splits into two of the same sword like in his shikia but the write cloth at the end starts to entangle into each other and make a white spirtual chain connecting the two blades together. On the hilts, there's a feature where it retracts or extends the chain for the user's liking. If you look closely, there is actually a device that generates and destroys reiatsu, but it's only used for the chain. The device cannot be used in any other way which renders it usually if it's detached from Rey's blade. If Rey's blade it's retracted all the way, the devices attach to each other making a staff like weapon which can be used for close combat. In this form the staff has a grip area of 24 inches and each blade has a blade length of a yard/ 36 inches which is the same blade length of Rey's blade in shikia form.

Kyokudai, without warning was gone with a flash of blue, preforming a Senka, to place him self directly behind Rey, Zanpakuto drawn, aiming a ferocious slash at the mid-lower back, planning to sever his Saketsu, and Hakusui. Saketsu (鎖結, Chain Binding) acts as a boost to spiritual power, in conjunction with the Hakusui (魄睡, Soul Sleep), the source of spiritual power. These two points are commonly considered pressure points. If they are pierced, they seal up this spiritual power, and the Shinigami will lose all their power. "REALLY" Rey stated as he flicked his blade that caused the chain to release and block the slash with the other blade at the end. "I know what you are trying to do and I don't like it at all." Rey stated as he flash stepped 50 feet away and turned around. He then caused the chin to retract and go back into his hand. "Say hello to my Bankai, you like Kyokudai?" Rey asked as he laughed. He then wrapped his blade around his arm and made a striking motion with two fingers poking out and a llightning bolt from the sky headed straight for Kyokudai. As I walked through the valley of the shadows of Death... I were my crown of thorns I pulled a knife out my chest!!! [OCC: THis is Rey's bankai. justh aven't changed the pic. too lazy)

Kyokudai held his left open hand to the sky.
"Hadō number 11, Tsuzuri Raiden (製本電, Bound Lightning)"
The lightning made impact with his left hand, and a blinding light flashed, and when it faded, it revealed Kyokudai in the same position, holding the lighting. He lowered his stance and moved his left arm now pointing directly at Rey, placing his right hand under his left tricep, as if steadying aim. He let out a deep breath, and redirected the lightning. 。狂 った世 界では 、唯一 の気違 いが正 気です

Kyokudai relaxed his stance and regained normal, calm composure. he let his left arm drop to his side and drew his Zanpakuto.
"Houshutsu, no Tamakagure"
Kyokudai's Eyes flashed deep turquoise as a blue aura and electricity began to dance furiously about his Zanpakuto as he released his shikai. His hakama and captains Haori fluttering in the raging wind.
"That makes two of us."
Kyokudai said, before he flashed instantly out of focus, re-appearing right in front of Rey, raining slashes down on him as abundant as raindrops in a storm, with ferocious animosity, 。狂 った世 界では 、唯一 の気違 いが正 気です

"Denied." Rey stated as he activated his shield just in the knick of time. A lightning barrier formed around him, but do to Kyodukai being there the shield didn't grow as big as he thought it would be. "Hmm, lightning as well huh? You must really like Ren then"

Kyokudai couldn't tell why, but Rey's last statement bothered him. He retreated and sheathed his Zanpakuto.
"What exactly is that supposed to mean?"
