It seems lihke at least sohme people are enjohyin' thehmselves." She shot a scathing glare behind her at the two nincompoops who were pelting each other with ice, then turned back to her friends, her countenance sunny. "An' the prohspect o' the weekend is vereh excitin' indeed. I cahn't wait t' hit th' skatin' rink, m'self."

While her trainer was busy speaking about who knew what, Iditarod was busy making sure these new humans were safe for her own. She carefully sniffed each one individually to be sure that they were not dangerous, and when she recognized the familiar scent of Team Rocket [to which she had become so accustomed to] Iditarod began to wag her tail happily, barking her message to her trainer. These ones were safe, yes. The other ones that were throwing things at each other... Well, Iditarod wasn't too sure.

Claire wiggled her toes in her boots, trying to make sure they didn't freeze. Having three pairs of knee-high socks made them nice and toasty, but it was nice to make sure they hadn't spontaneously frozen into ten little icecubes. When Isadora glared at Panther and Lennyka, she couldn't help but chuckle lightly, shoving her hands in her pockets to keep them extra warm. "I'm sure everyone will enjoy themselves," she said with a self-assured nod. Why wouldn't they have fun? They had the whole weekend to enjoy cold, snowy activities.

"Ohh, skating? I haven't been skating in years," the young woman admitted, making a mental note to avoid the skating rink like the plague as well as flying snowballs. "I'd love to go sledding or something, I'm not that interested in skiing." Or snowboarding. Or most snowy activities except sledding.

A ski resort, it was almost too exciting to be true. A field training exercise randomly at a ski resort, how could Acacia pass up the chance to get out of the base.

'Okay, so it really isn't a training exercise but at the rate everyone is going, there might be some frostbite in the near future.'

Acacia mentally noted with a large grin as she eyed the other rockets already playing in the snow, the blonde grunt however wasn't ready to start the snowy folly. First she needed to make sure that Ampule was doing alright in the feathery white bliss, it was after all his first time with snow.

Hopping with excitement the pudgy totodile made his way in front of his trainer sporting the matching outfit that his owner was wearing. A large furred purple parka with matching boots, mittens, and white pants, he certainly was strutting confidently among his peers his head held high with his blue snout barely visible; he was styling and he showed it cheekily.

Dile, toda toda, toda, dile!” Ampule exclaimed jubilantly, tossing his small body into the wintery fluff rolling wildly while chomping his maw into the water-based substance. It was incredible, it was like a snowcone but without any flavor!

Lifting a gloved hand to her face the pale complexioned medic hid into her palm, Ampule was a mess and he hadn't even been outside for five minutes yet.

'One of these days he isn't going to embarrass me, but today isn't that day. And tomorrow isn't looking any brighter either.' She mused silently to herself, bending down she hefted the spirited Big Jaw pokemon into her arms and held him. From a distance, if it wasn't for his tail she was sure he would be mistaken for a toddler, she really hoped that none of the other Rockets would question her on why her totodile was dressed in snow gear, or for that matter a matching outfit.

'Why and how did I get talked into this?' Alexander thought to his self as he walked begrudgingly through the snow. He had on so many layers on her felt heavy enough fall over! 'I'm a desert born and raised! Or as close to the desert as Ambergris is.' he grumbled in his mind as he peered around in the winder wonder land he was in. He could see other Rockets not far from him, although he only recognized Lennyka.

He looked down at Conrad and not for the first time wondered how he had found clothes his pokemon could wear so quickly. The Eevee was in a tan jacket, tan pants with a hole for his tail, a black scarf with 'R's on it's ends and white booties.

"At least you seem to be having fun." He chuckled slightly as Conrad bounced around in the snow. "EE vee vee eev eve!" the little fox continued to play around even as his partner started to slowly walk towards the other Rockets, after all he would catch up in a minute.

So many noisy people. While the shrieks of merriment grated on his nerves a little, today he was able to tolerate the tomfoolery much better than he usually could. This was probably because, today, Mr. Frost found himself in his element. He hadn't quite caught what the reason/excuse for their coming up here was, but he didn't really care that much when it came down to it. Snow covered everything, clean and crisp. His footsteps squeaked, leaving behind clear prints in his wake. On arrival he had amused himself briefly by treading out various shapes in the snow; an equilateral (more or less) triangle, a square, and an ambitious octagon which hadn't come out as well as he'd hoped.

A born perfectionist, he had had felt forced to spend some time tidying up the wonky shape; this had involved rolling along a large snowball. Naturally as it grew, any line drawn with it would have grown larger too, and so he had meticulously moved it inward with every roll so that, eventually he had a very large (acceptable though still not perfect) octagon carved out of the snow, and an extremely large ball of snow in the middle of it.

It was when he was studying the massive sphere (it was slightly taller than he was) that his brain registered the sounds of pokemon around him was well as people. Ah. He had intended to surprise Skiron with the mountain trip, but instead he'd completely forgotten about him. Feeling rather embarrassed, Frost quickly removed the luxury ball from his belt... And twitched a slight, and slightly mischievous smile to himself.

A moment later the glaceon appeared in a flash of red light and cast around, joy lighting up his black eyes as he took him his surroundings; snow!... A large ball of snow. He was standing on a very large ball of snow, and his trainer was smirking up at him. Oh very funny. Skiron stuck out his tongue, and scuffed some snow at Frost's face. "Glaaace." Very mature, Frost, very mature.

Palu looked adorably frustrated by her surroundings. There was snow everywhere! The bird was very glad for her scarf, certainly not enamoured by the coldness of the environment, but clearly wanting to try and enjoy the unusual trip. The bird pokemon seemed to be trying to build a snow something of her own, by picking up the frozen stuff in her beak, then depositing it in a slowly growing pile. Every so often she'd stop, pull a face at the cold feeling and tastelessness of the white slush, then go right back to building her shapeless pile. Perhaps it was intended to be a Snow-Grimer, or a Ditto... or just a snow-mountain. Whatever the shapeless mound was supposed to be, Palu seemed to be determined to 'build' it, even hopping back with little noises of satisfaction or disappointment as one part either seemed to be shaped correctly or another was not.

Tambrey had dug out her snowgear for this trip too. Her hair was loose beneath a dark grey hat and she wore a couple of layers; thick socks beneath hardy brown boots, with tights beneath her snug dark blue pants. A black, hooded parka was worn, zipped up tight but with the hood down; a scarf not unlike Palu's wrapped around her neck and tucked into it, while black and white striped gloves protected her hands.
She kept an eye on Palu's playing while watching the goings on around; her own snowman, two foot high and barely detailed, stood making Palu's efforts look impressive.
At a couple of familiar faces, Tambrey offered a wave, but it was a wary one when it came to observing a snowball fight.
"Perhaps we'd be better off building a wall for defence, you know." She informed her bird only to be met with a non-commital warble as Palu added yet another beakful to her snow-thing.

"Ice skating, huh... I might need to pass on that." He stuffed his hands into his pocket with a vaguely sheepish grin. "I've never tried it before. Can't imagine I'd be much good." Sledding, however, sounded like a winner. And possibly snowmen. And hot chocolate, mmm...

Lucas spared a glance over his shoulder at the other Rockets, pleased to see so many of them enjoying themselves. He felt a bit like the awkward chaperone compared against the ages of the others in attendance, but that was a matter that couldn't be helped.

TODI,” Ampule wiggled excitedly as he shot his stubby hand out and pointed towards a familiar couple. “Dile, dile, dile, dile, todi!” It was Palu and Tambrey! They were here too! Wiggling more the clothed pudge ball urged his trainer to let him down, a large plume of breathy mist escaped from her mouth as she chuckled against the crisp winter air.

With tender movements the medic set her pokemon onto the snow, the light crunch of his boots cracked down into the white ground causing Ampule to stare at his feet for just a few moments amazed at the noise. Dislodging his thoughts with a playful shake of his head the little purple clad pokemon took off like a shot towards his feathery friend.

Following in his wake Acacia moved as silently as she could behind the dark-haired grunt, once within range the tall slender blonde jumped towards Tambrey wrapping her thin arms around the other woman's frame. Leaning over the bookish grunt's shoulder Acacia whispered into her ear in a low playful tenor.

“Fancy meeting you here beautiful,” she cheerfully exclaimed, her pale face rosy from the cold. Releasing her arms from the woman's waist Acacia laughed almost musically while taking a step back. “Hiya Tamie!”

Dile!” Ampule cheered loudly to also let his presence be known. Jumping up and down he flailed his arms happily.

Iditarod herself was looking forward to merely romping around in the snow. Indeed, she was acting like a young Growlithe, running about the flakes and catching them with her paws and her tongue. Isadora had never really seen her newest Pokemon act this... silly. Or happy, even. She chuckled at the large Arcanine and scratched her Pokemon's ears when she walked back to her human, her furry coat covered in snow.

When Isadora continued on the topic of ice skating, or more specifically of Claire ice skating, her eyes widened slightly and she quickly shook her head. "Ah, thank you, but I'd really prefer to keep my feet safely on the ground." This coming from someone who flew everywhere on a Pidgeot rather than drive or otherwise.

"I'd love to go sledding though," she said after a pause, casting her violet gaze around to try and spot anyone else who was doing just that. No luck just yet, however, so she focused on Isadora and Lucas again. "I'm sure we'll find someplace to go sledding later. And some sleds," she added with a small frown. She didn't have one, and therefore didn't bring one. They had to have some here, right? Right. Suddenly she turned to Lucas, peering up at him curiously. "What do you want to do?" Obviously he didn't want to go ice skating, but maybe he'd want to go sledding? Or skiing, or something. Were there any warmer snowy activities..? Hot chocolate would be needed later, that was for certain.

Lucas reacted similarly to the prospects of ice skating, waving a hand slightly in a small expression of refusal, "Ah, no, I'm good, I think. Wouldn't want to hurt my manly pride by falling all over myself, right?" He flashed a bright grin, returning his hand to his pocket. Though his tone implied jest, he sincerely had no intent to fall all over himself in front of his coworkers. That just seemed like a terrible impression to give.

He took note of the Charmander attached to his leg and turned a smile towards it, leaning over briefly to rub a hand over its head and offer a friendly "hey, Nika." He returned his attention to Claire when she spoke, making a mental note to keep out for someplace for sledding. "Mm, I'm good with whatever," he said with a shrug and a grin, ceding the decision to his company. "Name it and I'm there."

Sitting on a bench near the air vent where it was warm a barefooted trainee was looking through his backpack making sure the egg he carried was still cozy with his towels and clothes around it. "Least your safe from the cold in there." Smiling a bit the trainee pushed his brown bangs out of the way a bit.

Eep! An attack!
Tambrey then completely embarrased herself by letting out a noise not dissimilar to the mental eep that had come into her head at the surprise of Acacia's sneak attack.
She flushed with scarlet cheeks, already touched by the cold, but now embarrassed at being surprised, and bashful at the whisper caught in her ear.
The dark-haired grunt shook it off and grinned though, turning as she was released and facing her friend. Her cheeks retained some of the blush, but she was happy to see the pale woman.
"Hiya, Ace." She nicknamed back and laughed a little. "Thought I saw you on the way out. Glad to see you did come out for this; seems more fun than work."

Palu straightened up and flapped happily as she saw her little blue friend and his trainer. She stood proudly and warbled a pleased hello to the clearly excited Totodile, gesturing afterward at her snowpile and inviting him to help. Though... she still hadn't given any indication of what an Earth it was supposed to be, beyond... a pile of snow.

"Certainly... a lot of the others don't look like they're training. I can see snowball fights, people building giant snowballs... And pokemon just running around." Tam' commented with obvious pleasure. "I think we might actually be here for a little break."

Emilie walked confidently through the snow, breathing deeply the chill, fresh mountain air. The metropolis of Saffron didn't see more of winter than quickly darkening evenings, fog, and frost on skyscraper and apartment windows, so the white blankets and gravity tugged flakes stirred no memories, but that didn't diminish the effect. Her painter's eyes idled over the soft white forms with their pale shadows, the languid flakes whirling and blowing this way and that, trimmed pine and scrub, and the clear, clear sky at the back, pale blue that would sink to vibrant reds and purples at day's end.

A couper le souffle. Breathtaking.

The trainee was dressed in a red and black ski jacket and pants over a sweatshirt and jeans, the latter tucked into black military boots. The trip's short notice had not allowed for the acquisition of anything new, and she hoped the outfit would be assumed appropriate to her rank rather than indicative of past allegiances. Her soft brown leather gloves did not match with the outfit but a black beret covering her long burgundy hair did, not Rocket issue but certainly similar. On that beret, sat a very disgruntled pikachu, tail wagging in the wind.

Emilie caught sight of Panther and the game he was playing with a teal haired woman she had never met before. Stooping, careful of Leo's weight on her head, the trainee gathered snow into her arms and, one after the other, launched snowballs at the pair. Emilie couldn't put much force or weight behind her throw, but accuracy was second nature.

“A break,” gasping loudly the pale medic mock swooned staggered then 'fell' against Tambrey giggling with amusement. “Oh my goodness! A break, at a ski resort! The boss man doesn't spare any expense on us does he?”

Once again pushing away from her friend the rosy-cheeked blonde giggled and spun in her tracks kicking up snow as she faced the other grunt, the twirl was cutesy almost too feminine for Acacia to manage but somehow the slender woman pulled it off without looking overly flirty. “Trust me, people might be playing right now, but I have a very strong feeling that I am going to end up getting overtime on this trip. Frostbite, broken bones, springs, contusions---frozen pokemon.” She pointed towards Palu and Ampule a cheeky curled grin playfully pulled at the corners of her pink lips clearly show her white bleached teeth.

Prancing around the glorious castle of snowy delight the pudgy blue totodile examined the creation of his friend. He didn't know what it was but it was fantastic! Bending down and scooping as much of the cold fluff into his arms he began to aid Palu in her task. He had no idea what he was doing but it was fun! Lowering his drum like body near the ground Ampule snorted loudly allowing for a large bellow of steam to erupt from his nostrils, straightening himself as quickly as he could he raced the plume of white, he loved the way his nose made shapes with the air, he loved the cold, and he loved snow!

Arching her eyebrow at her own pokemon she could only shake her head at his antics before continuing her conversation with the dark-haired grunt. “Do you know how much of a bitc---erm” she bite her tongue trying to shy away from profanities in front of the mixed company of higher and lower ranking Rocket members. “How much of a pain it was to find matching snow boots for my coat? Until yesterday I never noticed that I didn't own a single pair of boots besides the ones that go with my issued uniform. I have like a pair of flip-flops but that is it. I think I might need to buy some sneakers sometime in the near future. Ugh---I hate shoes!” Whining she shifted from foot to foot. If it hadn't been for the fact she liked having all of her toes on the proper feet, she would have been barefooted in the snow, she went barefooted everywhere else but not in snow. Brrrrr!
