How exactly was one supposed to act when another someone, who had just asked you out insisted that you were adorable? LW could only stare up at him with the surprised yet pleased expression...that shifted to very gratified when he scratched under her chin. The pout almost, almost appeared when he stopped this, but his hand slid along her cheek toward her hair and before she could figure out what he was doing...the she-wolf melted against him in that cute way as he scratched behind her ear. Oh god it felt gooood. It was obvious just how much she enjoyed that by the way she leaned more heavily against him in that silent plea or more.
Her response time was slower for the moment and a content sigh escaped along with the Jack damned blush. "I...I can't help it!" She squeaked a little. "That's just...one of those things~" Yeah she decided to just shut her mouth now. And his leaning into her now was making it difficult to focus on where she was leading them. Scareoke! They were playing Scareoke. But...snuggles sounded really good right now too.
The she-wolf blinked and thought on his words. "That's..." she struggled to find the right word, "well that just plain sucks." She tilted her head back to look up at him, a smile forming. "Your secrets safe with me." LW teased but added sweetly, "And you know I don't have a problem with your serpent form. So if you want scratches or kisses on the nose again, I'll happily fulfill that request!"
She lead them up the stairs and down next hall, counting doors as she went. Not that she really needed to at this point. Her feet knew this path well by now. And...what did he keep staring at?! It was making her paranoid. Especially considering how her new mimic was. She couldn't help but feel that it was following them. Or gnawing on her tail, though she knew this wasn't true. She'd feel that one. LW focused on his voice and words, not the nagging to know what kept distracting him. And his answer shouldn't have surprised her. It made complete sense.
"Oh! We're going to the room right above mine to play. I don't have Scareoke so we are borrowing my BFF's." The she-wolf waved this off and stared at him. Was...was he blushing? Her lips curled up into that devilish look. "Oh you love it, do you? So you are not a stranger to Scareoke." Still giving him that look, her hand automatically reached out to grab the handle of the door they were now in front of. Twisting the knob it opened up easily and she went to take a step when her tail was snagged. LW froze, tail immobile and wide violet eyes turned to look up at the nix, who had a hold of her tail.
"I'm s-sorry...! I...I can't h-help it!" She squeaked out, still very much frozen in the doorway. Was he going to hold her tail? Let it go? What was he going to do with it? LW was very proud of her tail and also very sensitive there. The urge to tug her tail away was there, but she didn't. Not yet. Part of her wanted to see what he would do with such a...distraction.

With his hand still curled around her tail, which seemed to twitch in place from time to time, "Hhhhmmmm... you can't, huh?" his voice was low, his gaze fixed on the red pelt for one long, stretched out moment, "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're doing it on purpose, little wolf," oh, but he knew she wasn't, mostly because... well, he doubted she would ever be able to fake such an elevated amount of innocence, specially seeing as how she'd proved she wasn't entirely naive. It was mostly due to the fact she seemed keen on smirking up at almost knowingly when she felt she was on top of the situation that he felt the need to tease her. She had the most adorable reactions, instantly blushing when he crossed the metaphorical line; it was almost as if for all her bravado and all her bravery when it came to taking the first step... she didn't expect him to follow suit. For all her bark, there was no bite in that regard, "I would very much like scratches or kisses, but I'm not too sure this is the best place."
It was for that motive that the demon held onto her tail, just a beat longer than he probably should have, leaning into her with a smirk before pulling away. As he did so, his grip on the red fluff lessened, allowing him to drag his fingers through the strands of hair as the tail fell back to it's usual place, "Ah, but there's no need to say sorry. Unless you don't want me to do something about it," his hand fell to his side before he took the opportunity to shove it into his pocket, almost as if not trusting it to stay put for the remainder of the voyage to... wherever it was they were going. Finally deciding to address her previous words, Gabrian looked up, "Soooo... the room above yours, huh? Who, exactly is this 'BFF' of yours?" They had climbed the stairs and were currently situated more or less... above LW's room, or so the demon calculated. His eyes strayed to the door number, idly wondering whom it was that lived there, "Should I be worried or jealous?"
Technically, he didn't really think he had any reason to be worried. After all... LW was a wolf, and what were wolves if not loyal? "I hope you're planning on joining in, LW, because I'm not going to be singing alone the whole time, you know. If I'm going to let go and make an utter fool of myself, you better believe you're going to be with me every step of the way," a pause as he motioned to the door, "Got the key then? And permission?"

He STILL had her tail. And his voice...his gaze...oh skulls! Her cheeks were probably on fire and yet she was still frozen in place. "N-n..no!" She squeaked out. "I..I can't-" Wait. Had she been doing it on purpose? She didn't think she had been. At least not consciously. But...she was a wolf! Wolves wagged their tails. Right? That was a good excuse, wasn't it? Why was she trying to find an excuse again? She just about missed hearing him say yes, he would like those scratches and kisses...just not here.
"A...shame then." LW got out in a less squeaky voice. "Perhaps later th-" her mouth snapped shut as his fingers dragged through the fur of her tail. If possible, her cheeks got redder and a deep shudder raced down her spine. CANDLEJACK! The tail. It had to be the tail. She didn't even try to make a comeback to whether or not she did or didn't want him to do...oh she gave up on thinking on it.
At this point, her back was firmly pressed against the door they stood in front of, tail now curled tightly around her legs. It wasn't fair. She sucked at this. Was it a game? What did you call it? Skulls her mind was mush right now and then add just having her tail petted like so...yep. There were lots of emotions racing around and fighting for center stage. The she-wolf kept her gaze up on the demon in front of her while a hand slid around feeling for the door handle. Once she had it, she turned it and opened the door, backing carefully into Ren's room.
"Yes. The room...above mine." Her voice was small and still too high. LW just let her head fall back against the door as she waited for Gabrian to enter the room. Oh hey. She hadn't mentioned who her BFF was yet, had she? Whoops! "Oh, my BFF? Wait...worried or jealous?" LW frowned. "No. I...I don't think you should be." Gabe and Ren got along well, right? Oh. OH! "No!" Jackdamnit there was the squeak again. "No, no need to be worried. He is just my bestie. And, umm...I should probably add that he is the other one that I mentioned comes and goes as he pleases in my room." The she-wolf shrugged and felt too late, her tail had unwrapped from around her legs and was swinging slowly back and forth. When she realized this she pranced away from the door and kept her tail out of reach. Just in case. "And no need for a key. The door is always open for me."
"Of course I am!" LW went about the room like she knew it well (which..she did), getting the game console set up and the Scareoke mics out. Her gaze traveled around to see if she could spot Rhys, but the lepus was probably napping somewhere. "Just...maybe you should go first?" She wasn't watching him as she set the game up. And since she was distracted...her tail was freely moving about.

The squeaky reply (not to mention the obvious shudder that had gone through her body) was well worth the mild awkwardness of the situation. Gabrian just honestly couldn't resist teasing her; at least not when she baited him with smirks like the one she'd offered him when he'd told her he liked scareoke, "A shame indeed," he drawled as he slipped into the unfamiliar room, taking in the details and... was that a polar bear? And a giant carnivorous plant? Good grief who the hell lived here? He was so fascinated by his surroundings that he almost forgot what he'd been pondering just seconds ago. Unfortunately for her, LW reminded him by squeaking again. The demon turned his head, looking at the she-wolf as she closed the door behind them and offered her a fanged smile, "Hmmm..." the sound was more of a hum than anything, "Your squeaking is adorable. But I want to warn you..." he drew nearer as she took the consoles out, helping her set them up (apparently he knew what he was doing! Imagine that), "I know how to play this game, little wolf," he took one of the microphones from her and stood up with ease, flicking his hair over his shoulder, "And I don't intend to lose," it was pretty hard to figure out if he was talking about scareoke or... something else altogether. "I'll go first," he agreed with a nod, one hand holding the microphone while the other lands on his hip, his eyes looking at the tv screen as he waited for the game to load. That darned tail of her was still flicking about in her agitation, but at least now that he had the piece of plastic in his hand, not to mention the tv screen in front of him, he could distract himself properly; he figured he'd address the tail issue later, "LW, don't think I haven't noticed the fact you've still not told me whose room this is. I've noticed," his gaze slipped to her crouched form, but it remain on her for just a few seconds before he tore it from her and focused his attention back on the credits rolling on the screen, "Ah, pass that song. Back, no, no, LW, not that one. Two to the right, love, yes. That one," he was sure his ghoulfriend was going to offer him a disbeliving look and he steadied his face into perfect calmness before lowering his gaze to her, "Yes, love. That one." When the music began to drift Gabrian had just enough time to curl his free hand into a fist, cough into it to prepare himself and... slipped right into character. Apparently, insane, maniacal laughter wasn't beyond the nix demon given the correct circumstances and well, for whatever reason (no doubt the 'high' he felt due to having succeeded at asking the were-wolf out to date him), the situation he found himself in filled all the needed requirements for him to let loose. It'd been a long time since Gabrian had allowed himself to let go in front of anyone before and it showed as he sang away; there probably wasn't a sillier song in all of history that he could have picked, and yet he felt it fit perfectly with his current mood. Given the fact he never left things done half way... well, LW was witness to how the demon turned around during a particularly long breath of air, eyed the room and then proceeded to jump on top of the unfamiliar bed, singing forcefully into the microphone as he did so. He even went as far as using his free hand to point down at the werewolf bellow as he sang. See? He could totally play this game, and he felt sorry for whatever soul that so much as dared to challenge him at it when he was in this sort of mood.

Oh. Oh she had no doubt he knew how to play this game. Games. Wait, what were they talking about? And...he liked her squeaking? Oh well, that was good. Because with him around, she was going to be doing it a lot. A LOT. Like right now apparently. "That...that is good..." Yep. It was squeaked and she focused very hard on getting the game set up. And trying EVEN HARDER not to wag her tail. Not that this was going well. Not at all.
At his voice this time, she gave him the most innocent angelic look she could muster. Had he noticed she had been avoiding answering that question? Oops. "What? Why do you think that? I haven't been avoiding answering." And yes, she had just avoiding answering that question. Again. So she just stuck to flipping through songs until he found one he wanted to sing.
LW gave him a slow look, glancing up at him. "Really? That one?" She was definitely giving him a very disbelieving and surprised look. "Y-you're sure?" The she-wolf gave up questioning it and clicked that one, moving out enough so she could watch him and the screen.
The gaping mouth look she had been giving him when he started to sing this song turned into a fit of laughter has he really fell into character. She was laughing very hard and of course, her tail was flicking about as she laughed. And when he jumped up on the bed? LW almost fell over from laughing so hard.

Ren had decided, quite on a whim, to go visit LW.
This was not an unusual occurrence. Ren visited LW nearly every day, sometimes twice a day, sometimes more. He practically lived in her room as it was, and she in his. It was part of their bond as best friends to spend more than enough time with each other, and Ren found he enjoyed it very much.
On this particular day, he had had a rather pathetic morning. After waking, he had found himself with a voicemail from his mother complaining that she never got to see him and that he needed to come home, and yet another voicemail from his sister demanding he take her shopping this weekend. Since he had no desire to do either of those things, Ren had simply rolled over and gone back to sleep. It had been a pleasant sleep as well, and Ren had woken the second time feeling much more refreshed. Yawning and stretching, Ren had not bothered to get dressed, feeling like his white and blue pawprint pajama bottoms and black teeshirt were perfect attire for going to visit the werewolf.
"MORNING EL DOUBLE YOUUUUU - " Ren yelled, barging into the room...
...and stopping quite abruptly when he realized that the room was, in fact, very, very empty.
"Well, this sucks," Ren said, folding his arms across his chest and glancing around. He wasn't quite sure where the shewolf had gone to, but it was obvious she wasn't in her room. With a sigh, Ren left, making his way back to his own room. He got distracted, however, when he passed by Alessa's room, stopping in briefly to say hello to her and to talk for a bit. It was only after he realized he had talked for over an hour with the nagual before he let her get back to what she was doing, deciding to go back up to his room to maybe play some Scario Kart, or perhaps nap.
Pushing open the door to his room, Ren started to walk in...
...and stopped, yet again. Though this time it was because there was a very familiar nix in his room and a very familiar shewolf on the floor.
"Er," said Ren stupidly staring at Gabrian, of all people, up on his bed. "Er."
The ghoul in question was sitting on the floor, nearly crying she was laughing so hard. Ren turned his eyes towards her, blinking as if to say Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what did I just walk in on?
For a moment Ren just stood there, staring up at Gabrian. He had never seen the nix so...so...silly in the entire time he'd known him. Which wasn't very long, but since then they had talked quite a bit, and Ren had started to understand him. What exactly he was doing in Ren's room with her, he wasn't sure, but besides that he was up on his bed. Jumping. And singing into a Sharpie.
Ren shrugged. Then vaulted across the room to leap onto the bed beside Gabrian. He snatched up the nearest marker and held up to his mouth, bursting out into song alongside the nix.
"THATTTT MAKES YOU LAARRRGGGERRRR THAN LIIIIIFEEE - "
Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
