This is actually the first Silent Hill game that I've been able to brave alone, in the dark, at night. xD Silent Hill 2 is a daylight with curtains kind of game, to me.
I'm kind of the opposite of you, though.
I can't do genuine horror movies (slashers are good, though), at all. There's too much of a feeling of helplessness in it, to me. I get REALLY sucked in. xD
I envy you, though.
I've missed so many great movies. xD

I have hard times playing Bioshock, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, and other horror games. I get too sucked in and stressed out that I panic and throw the controller at someone...
then I run.
I envy you.

You shouldn't throw controllers at people,
they're heavy, and they hurt. D;
Have you beaten Silent Hill 2?
There was one part that I was playing with my friend in broad daylight.
And. I. Flipped. My s**t.
Multiple times.
And Heavy Rain.
I was bad at Heavy Rain.
Very bad.
I can't play games with those cheap jump scares.
(Cough) Fatal Frame (Cough)
Because it takes me a million years to recover, and by then I've missed the shot/
had my face torn off by those gross skinless dogs.
