"Then how can you be so sure I'm not yet another passing spirit who's decided to speak?" He shook his head some. "I can assure you I'm no such thing though." He grinned wide, that dorky, doofus look he naturally had. "It's ok though... I'm over it like you've said, the past is in the past. Some times it's best to just, come to terms with the things we cannot change and just make the best for ourselves. I'm sure your mate would agree that you've seemed to take a nice step in the direction to going on with your life regardless of the gift you have. Though I guess it would get tiring of seeing stray spirits passing by..." He thought for a moment till he saw her sit. A great flop was soon heard as he took this time to flop onto the ground and make himself at home as he chatted. "At least it's something you and he share, your brother and you that is.. You at least have some one to see you through that. And if not him, then there's always you mate. You at least trust him enough to show him your face. I'll bet he's glad for it too." His tail have a small swish as it scooted along the ground, kicking a put us the ground layer up before he stopped. "But We're always free to make decisions, it's the decisions we make that are what define us. Had i chosen to stay I could have been free, I just would have led a life of ridicule. Here I'm free and though some may look down their snout at me, I don't think of it, there are more opportunities to see and meet those who could use a good laugh." His back got an itch at that point. He couldn't resist it. flopping to his side, he rolled to his back and flopped over rolling side to side a bit before staying on his side and letting out a great groan of satisfaction of sedating his itch.

"You seem very wise..I do know you are not a spirit though..I can tell what is one and whats not..Most of the spirits i see are connected to me in some way.."
She nodded and sighed taking interest in the grass around her. She started to eat some since she was feeling hungry even if this grass was not the best it would do.
"I suppose..Taking a step forward is much better than a step back..It does get tiring to see spirits when i wish not to..Sometimes if try hard i can push them away.."
She feels the ground shake a bit and looks up to see that Shilo is now sitting with her. She smiles him having won her over now she can call him a friend possibly a good one at that. She feels safe again with one other person besids her mate and brother.
"Im not sure if my brother sees spirits..i have not seen him in a long while and have never asked him..My mate could never understand but i have told him and shared this with him.. I would trust him with my life if i had to.."
She looked thoughtful and glanced at Shilo to see him scooting up farther dirt getting kicked up and landing on her and for the first time .... she laughed
"Hey watch what your doing!"
She was grinning at his feeling safe
"Life is full of decisions what matters is if we make the right one"
She knew that first hand but as she look back at Shilo he was groaning and mumbling .
"What are you doing..? I do know you are much like a dog but is this really necessary?"

"I only know what I had to know." He spoke up laughing at her reaction to his itch solution. "Well, I was getting an itch I couldn't reach..." Chuckling, he rolled back over so he was laying on his stomach. "I may seem almost canine.. but then I don't know really why.. My mother's markings resembled a canine I once saw.... but then I naturally figured the resemblance stopped there." He gave a small shrug. It didn't bother him that he was different, at least not now it didn't....

"Well you are always learning new things..I know i am everday.."
She glanced behind her for some reason on edge but she quickly faced Shilo again. She was growing bored with talk now and wanted to do something but what she was unsure.
"My friend thinks he is a lion..Possibly you both have the soul of those animals.."
She had never seen a real lion or a real dog but thse horses gave her a good idea of what they might look like. She wondered if it was something in the genes that made you feel like another animal.

He pondered this some. "I suppose it's possible..." Standing once more, he stretched out some before shaking the dust off his coat. "How about we wander around and see what we can find, my little friend? Hmm? I'd wager staying in one place for too long could become boring." He looked around before grinning wide. He was rather restless himself today. then again... when didn't he find himself wanting to wander about and see what he could of this strange new place?
