Cookie waved back to Alome before she was hugged by Eve. "Heylo Eve." she mewed, rubbing a cheek against the ragdoll as she hugged back. Eve was a good friend, it was okay to give snuggly hugs.

"Been good. Yous?" she asked, curling her tail a bit and causing her dress to ruffle a little in the back.

The redhead seemed fine with all the questions, and didn't really press Alome for more answers on the whole 'appeared in front of her' thing, seeing as he really had just materialized in this realm himself.

"Oh yanno, juss sorta arounnnn. I kinda showed up in Darcy's place one day when she was tryin to summon a baby, and so I've juss been hangin aroun." he waved a hand vaguely, not having much to say in regards to his sudden 'appearance.' Really, he had just ended up there.

Feli's question, now that was a bit easier - or harder, depending on how you thought of it - to answer. "Uhhhhh sorta gottit messed up in a machinin assiden below decks long timago. Yanno. These things happen." He seemed pretty cool answering questions about himself at the very least.

Once again he ruffled Feli's hair, "Don'tchu worry about him askin me nothin, Missy. He's juss learnin. S'all okay with me." he assured the two before blinkin, "What's yer names, by the by? I'm Cap'n Xanatos Devero."

Xanny burst out laughing at Feli's declaration, shaking his head a bit. "Good ta know kidlin. Iss parta mah evil plan, make sure nawan understands me." he regained his composure after a sec and shook his head.

"Niceta meetcha Lady 'Lome." he said, holdin out a black gloved hand to shake her's. "And naw, I just like a good party is all. The gorgeous guests are just a bonus." he chuckled a bit at that, shaking his head. "Anyway, what else have I got to do, hangin around Darcy's place?"

Really, Xanny was just an easy to amuse kind of guy. Laughs and smiles came easy to him. "Well yeah tha' and if I keep Cuppy around the house too long, she's gonna star' chewin the scen'ry." he commented.

By this point, the music he was hearing had changed to an upbeat number, with a swinging tune, and he grinned suddenly, looking out towards the open areas of the room. "You any good at dancin?"

"Yeah, she's a lil blobby black thing that follows me around sometimes." he explained with an offhand wave of the one not holding her hand. "Sweet but really dim."

He didn't even seem thrown by her asking first - just grinned even wider. "You read m'mind." and off he was heading to the dancefloor, still holding Alome's hand behind him and moving decently fast for a kid with only one leg.

The redhead shrugged as he headed for the dancefloor, "Maybe we can have them meetup sometime. Cuppy likes friends." he commented, looking for an area that wouldn't cause them to bump into things.

"Sure, I can lead." not that he always remembered what leading was versus following. There was just dancing and fun. Already holding her one hand, he put his other at the girl's side and began to whirl with her around the dancefloor a little ways. The music was fast and fun, but simple enough.

"The music's been changin' a lot t'night, ya notice?" he remarked, amused by the whirling tune.

Lance wasn't entirely sure of why he'd come to this thing. Really, Valentine's day wasn't his thing - he'd been planning to do something nice with Kali, yes, like dinner, or maybe a movie, but a kiddie's Valentine's Day party? That DEFINITELY wasn't his thing. Of all the things that he'd wanted to do with Kali today, THIS was probably the last thing. However, she'd asked him to come, and to bring Cain with him for Luka, so he'd obliged her - not that he was overly happy about it. He didn't exactly have formal wear, and had been forced to scrounge for some decent clothes.
After about two hours of looking, he'd managed.

Now, here he was, outside of the party destination with Cain floating next to him - not that that lasted long. The little shadow quickly flew on inside ahead of him, chirping as he began to seek out Luka. Lance wasn't interested in finding Luka though - no, he was more interested in finding Kali.
And he did. There she was, standing outside in a dress that made him wish even more that the two of them were somewhere more private - like his apartment! This was no the case, but it did mean something else; that he could currently take advantage of the fact that Kali had her eyes closed. Grinning, the young man approached her silently and pressed his lips to hers when he was close enough, kissing her softly. He held it for a moment, before pulling apart, the smirk still on his face. "Hey. Miss me?"

Inside, Cain was busy searching for his best friend. After a few moments, he managed to find the other shadow - Luka, it seemed, was currently conversing with another dragon-like shadow. Chirping, Cain bolted over and greeted his friend with their customary tackle-hug. "Vim, vi!" Some things never changed, it seemed.

Puff returned Luka's hug with equal vigor. He gave a delighted trill as his friend mimicked the sounds the dragonic shadow himself made. "Pu! Pff pu!" His wings flapped with excitement, tail wagging much like a dog's. "Puuu.." He admired the heart on his friend's chest. "Pupu!" he said excitedly, pointing to the hearts his host had placed on the walls. Though his attention was quickly pried away from them as Cain slammed into Luka.

Puff didn't know Cain, but it seemed Luka was Cain's friend, and that made Cain Puff's friend. it was only fair, right? It was right of Puff to assume so. "Pu pu uff! Fff!" The dragonic shadow was delighted! He had two friends to play with! Two friends to cause trouble with! He pointed to his host for the other two's benefit and shook his head. They weren't allowed to bother Howl today. Howl had said today was an important day for him, and mischevious though he was, Puff knew better than to anger the wizard. "Pu pu!" They could, of course, bother anyone else at the party.

He was sure more shadows would come. Perhaps they could have their own shadow party?

"Hello," Leyla said as Feli approached. Though her voice was the tell-tale high pitch of a toddler's, she seemed to be having no trouble forming words. "My name is Leyla. What is yours? Are you enjoying the party?"
