It didn't seem worth mentioning that worse things had been endured than the flaying of an old woman with a drinking fascination and a man with hands that wandered. Elzo's hands wandered and she'd never really minded that...but then Elzo was different than his father. It was amusing to think that Marlo would be protecting her, yet if there was one thing that could be said about the younger Xanis brother it was that he hated his parents as much as the elder.

Honestly, she hoped that Giovanni made a move. Then she could show him exactly what she was made of and make sure he never again bothered the boy she loved. There was this great power inside of her and if there was one way to use it for good? Eliminating Elzo's family would probably be a good use. Unwilling to admit it to herself, this may or may not have been part of her bargain.

Maybe she was spending too much time with Aree? Ah well.

While he'd paced Audrey had slipped the shirt back over her head, flipping her hair out and grinning wider and wider as he listed the conditions and terms. All of her bruises were negligible as the tiny girl threw herself at Elzo, wrapping arms around his neck and legs around his waist like a child. "Yes to all of that, I don't mind, whatever you say!" Kisses were pressed to his cheek before she squeezed tight and giggled.

"But are you sure I can't drive your car anyway? Please? I mean....okay okay." The glint in his eyes was a bit of a warning that kisses and hugs couldn't fix. Maybe cuddles? Well, there was potentially a lot of time to fix it.
