A happy smile crossed Ren's face, pleased that Tsetsiliya was interested in the Skullinary Club. It wasn't that he particularly enjoyed cooking himself - in fact he totally sucked at it, and usually relied on others to help him out in that department - but it was his ghoulfriend's club, after all, and anything involving Alessa made him happy. She liked cooking and enjoyed it, which made him both like it and enjoy it by extension.
"It's okay," he said, waving a hand as he pushed some dirt to cover a lettuce seed. "Even just a little bit of knowledge helps, y'know? And my grandmother used to bake for me as well..."
Ren trailed off a bit, lost in the memories. His grandmother had been the one person in his family who had never once judged him, never called him girly for liking to garden, or thought him strange or abnormal for disliking eating meat. In fact, if anything she had encouraged him, always buying him packets of seeds to plant, or giving him suggestions of what he should harvest next. Sometimes she had gardened with him, her large hands, wrinkled from age, working beside his smaller, freckled ones in the dirt.
He shook his head, shaking off the cobwebs of the memory to sit back, finally finished with the planting. Ren wiped his hands on his dirt streaked jeans and then nodded. "Yep, a little bit of water," he said to Tset, and then smiled. "Then I do believe we're done for the day!"

"Yes, a little for growing," Tsetsiliya hummed, remembering the little rhyme she had taught herself when she was much younger to remember how much water to give: "Two shakes are doing the trick, any more is making dirt thick, a little for growing, so soon after sowing." It was a silly rhyme, a child's rhyme, but one she thought of every time she gardened. Her light mood carried her to her feet in an instant. She had seen a watering can around here somewhere when she had first arrived. A quick scan of the edge of the garden confirmed that, the well-cared item sitting near the east corner. As she made her way over, she chanced another glance at the gyphon in his relaxed state, a timid smile hovering on her lips and an offer not far behind.
"I-if you are wanting, my grandmother is always sending too much treats for me.. I am happy to be sharing the next time it is happening." She checked the can inside, and, satisfied with the water level, began lightly sprinkling the rows they had just planted. A moment of reflection had her adding on hurriedly, "I-I am also happy to be sharing with your friends and g-ghoulfriend, if they are wanting to try also!" It was only the nice thing to do, after all - if the spin the bottle party was any clear indication (with the conversation today acting as evidence as well), the four were close knit. One should extend the offer to all, after all - it was a good rule to keep in mind.
"M-my grandmother's favorite is being skinnamon rolls.. they are very much good!" The poludnica gave the last portion of her side a light spritz, and reached the watering can over towards the gryphon so he could water the side of the garden he was sitting near. "I am hoping you will find them to your liking." But the sun was already risen high in the sky, and she had already taken notice. "B-but I am being afraid I should be going." She tucked a stray piece of hair back into her head scarf and wheeled around to give Ren a small smile. "I am hoping we are meeting again. This was.. very much fun." As, even though she wouldn't admit it, it was also very much needed. With a much happier heart, she picked up the basket and, pausing to give Ren a brief wave, she made her way back to the school.
Oh, just wait until she told her minipets about today!
