The delicate hands that had removed his blindfold led up to a smiling, female face. Her brown eyes were set in a face that couldn't have been more than twenty years old.
"You'll be fine," she assured him softly. "Follow me, little one."
The two men who had started this thing seemed to have receded into the background, letting her take control. She took one of Jhovam's hand in her own and indicated that he should stand up.

Jhovam offered no resistance, and obeyed her orders immediately. He held her hand and tried to support his own weight, but stumbled heavily when getting out of the chair. Quickly, he tried to regain his composure, and managed to stand up tall. His demeanor would have convinced those who had no idea what was going on that Jhovam was drunk, or at least horribly mentally ill. Ygrashmak knew better.
Again, a watery, far-away voice brushed against Jhovam’s mind. ’JHOVAM! What is going on! Why is the bond muddled! What is wrong! Why do I feel numbness over our bond?! JHOVAM!’
Jhovam didn’t respond, and merely followed the woman. His mind was already clearing from the drug’s effects, but he did his best to conceal that fact. Even though the magic was horribly painful, it was helping him now.

The woman led him through a secret way in the room, one accessed through the back of a closet. She supported him when he seemed to list or stumble, treating him like a babe.
"Poor thing," she said as walked between pitch black corridors. She stopped, supporting him again as she opened a catch. Of course, she thought that he needed it, although his senses were cleared by then. "Rest in here, and I will get some one to tend to your needs."
------------- The two thugs had not followed them. In fact, they were busy getting said person. "Nej?" Leone ruffled as he stuck his head into a room, a room within the vicinity of Isabel and her familial quarters. "Fabel wants you. Her guest room."

The voice became clearer, and before Jhovam knew what happened, he was in the room listening to Ygrashmak. ‘That’s it, I’m coming over to you, Jhovam!’
Jhovam’s eyes opened wide as a force began pressing in his mind. He stumbled across the room and slumped onto the bed as his hands clutched at his head. He forgot about his drowsy act, and instead gritted his teeth in pain.
’Ygrashmak! No! Noo!’ The force pushed harder and harder in the bond, but without Jhovam, a switch didn’t occur. He didn’t forget his promise to the man that he wouldn’t try this too much, but the pain! It was horrible!

"Are you well?" the woman asked as she rushed to his side. Seeing his reaction, her first thought was that this boy must be allergic to what they had given him. "Leone! Nej!" she called out, hoping that her thugs had been swift in their orders. She had not expected to need the boy this badly.

“Gahhh – I’m – Fine –“ Jhovam’s eyes were shut tightly and his face contorted into a clear expression of pain. His hands now grabbed at his hair, clumping it in tight, sweaty grips. He moaned and flexed his neck muscles, and was in obvious agony.
‘Rashmak! Please – stop!’ Jhovam begged heavily to his dragon, hoping to feel the pain end. He was about to push back, but he knew that would break the mental glass separating him and his draconic friend. Nausea began swirling in his stomach, growing into an uncontrollable urge to vomit.
‘No, Jhovam! I have to get you out of there!’ With yet another mental attack on the barrier, Jhovam leaned over the bed (away from the mistress) and vomited heavily onto the ground. Chunky brown goo splashed across the floor, and Jhovam buckled over. His left hand stayed gripped on his head, but his right instinctively moved to cover his now painful stomach.

(ew!)
"Uhg!" she called out reflexively. Her carpet! "You are not FINE." Vomit in her guest room was not fine. A slave dying on her and ruining her perfect cover story was not fine.
Usually an independent, ambitious woman, Fabel put a hand over her mouth. She didn't know what to do, except to try not to vomit herself. "Neeeej...."
(Neeeeej!)

((I ARE A SLOW TYPER. ;_;
Ah, I'll just assume Nej followed the thugs over there then or something? ^^;; Sorry, I'm a bit stumped since this is my first RP post here. ;_; Sosorry.))
Nej jumped to attention upon being addressed, nodding. He took a brief moment before he responded, and when he spoke "Yes, yes, I'll be there quickly." Because, how else was he supposed to be there? Slowly? Hardly proper conduct. Mentally, Nej shook his head at himself and quickly made his way out the door and into the hallway. He proceeded at a brisk pace, knowing well the path he had to travel.
And then, once he was in earshot, he heard the cry of a woman he immediately recognized as Mistress Fabel.
"Leone! Nej!"
Nej's steps sped quickly into a sprint to the door, his breath and his heart rate quickening. Not long after he placed his hand on the doorknob, he heard a splatter and the barest whiff of the stench of what was obviously vomit. Ah!
He pressed the door open, and when he spoke, hesitantly and stuttering, his voice squeaked ever so slightly. "Ah, M-Mistress F-Fabel?"

Jhovam moaned heavily as he gripped his stomach. “I – I’m sorry m-mistress. I didn’t mean to . . .” Moaning again, he slumped to his side, lying on the bed. Pain wracked his body, but for a moment, he could breathe. ‘Ygrashmak . . . please . . .’
Ygrashmak hesitated heavily. He knew Jhovam was in danger, and he must protect his human. After all, he is tied to the mortal form of a slaveboy. They must protect eachother.
‘Jhovam . . . I’m sorry.’ With doubt, he forced the switch again. He had to do this; his gut told him to.

"Come in, come in!" Fabel told Nej with a glimmer of hope in her eye. "But close the door behind you!"
For some reason, Jhovam was apologizing on the bed. Apologizing for what?
A flash of light tore Fabel's eyes away from Nej. Jhovam was no longer in the room, but some strange...beast. The air around her took on an unreal quality. She could barely focus on the details of this giant lizard, on one of her beds that she sometimes slept in, lashing its tail like it meant to leap on either one of them.
Fabel did not feel well at all. "C-close the door."

Indeed, there was some new, fantastic creature where Jhovam was.
For someone who was watching, Jhovam thrashed slightly before pausing. His eyelids burst wide open, but there was no iris or pupil. A white, somewhat luminous expance replaced his eyes, and Jhovam’s body gave a mighty lurch. A web of silvery light surrounded the slave boy, encasing him in a luminous cocoon. From that cocoon burst a great beast in the place of the teenager.
This creature rose up tall, and glared down at the two people in the room. He appeared to be lizard-like, and was encased in scales that appeared to be either pure platinum, silver, or steel. He had a majestic, silver parchment-like frill running down his sinewy neck, along his back, and down to the top of his snake-like tail. Two large, white-silver wings fanned out of their shoulder blades, each one making the figure seem larger than before. Two eyes of white-mercury-blue glared down at the people, and then a deep and booming voice spoke inside the two mortal’s minds.
What say you in your defense?

Nej closed the door upon his first order, a little stunned to have found this situation on the otherside of the door. Shortly afterwards, the flash of light, and the sudden appearance of the great silver beast. Nej's breath stuck in his throat, but he managed to rush to Mistress Fabel's side, placing himself between her and the large beast.
Beast, beast... No, no, dragon?
Oh you've got to be kidding me.
Nej sucked in his breath quickly, not expecting the Bronze dragon to speak so suddenly. The voice was steely and with perhaps a bit of a hiss, seperating it easily from the booming Silver's. He recognized this one easily. Nonriavi?
A Silver, Nej. I suggest... not getting in his way. Yes, that is probably the best course of action.

Fabel let Nej come between her and the dragon. She'd heard from Isabel earlier that one had appeared on the compound earlier in the day, but she had hardly believed it. And even so, she hadn't imagined that they could literally appear out of nowhere.
"Be careful!" she suggested, sincerely concerned for the slave in her charge, and for Jhovam, wherever he might be. "Stay still, or it might attack."
That statement summed up all Fabel knew about dangerous animals.
For now, she hardly even registered that the dragon had spoken. Fabel felt disconnected from reality, and willed herself not to pass out.
