Angra - Arising ThunderMetal of various kinds are stereotyped all across the world as "angry people moshing to angry music" Ahhh... I was never into mosh pits myself (Nor do I fancy the people who do karate moves in them... really, what is wrong with you? Where is your head?) The music is angry, but that's not the point. The point is that everyone has felt angry at one point in their life. In metal, we see a kind of carebear. A very evil carebear that will kick your a**, but a carebear nonetheless.... not an emo carebear, quite the opposite.... a grateful carebear. A carebear with guns, one who stands up for what he believes in and who he cares for. You see, metal is a message, and a feeling as well. Whether it's metaphors of overcoming the obstacles in our lives, or the talent it takes to play the feeling of our soul. We are warriors, you see? We endure the pain, not break down to it. Stand now. Angra shows this a great deal.
Do not underestimate this, for everyone in their life feels sorrow at one point. It takes more courage the cry, than stuff it. Here you see that metal is in fact truly about being yourself. Be all you can be as a person and never accept limitations.
