Atheist and agnostic should probably be seperate. There is a pretty big difference. One believes in a god/gods (or something like that) and the other doesn't.
Most Christians think Jesus was white and even more don't know his real name. Most Christian holidays are just assimilated Pagan holidays with different names. Who's the heathen now biatches!?!?!?!?!?
I'm agnostic. >.<

And, personally, I'd say that Mormans could fit as "Other Protestant" or "Christian (Fundamentalist)," because they believe in Christ, even if their other beliefs are way different from other Christian denominations. And I split Catholic and Protestant up, because I've noticed a distinctly large number of Catholics in here; Like in the introduction thread. sweatdrop I was just curious.

Beware the Jabberwock Mcphee I was born and baptised catholic, but I'm not a church-goer, nor do I pray, and I don't think that I'm in need of any God.
I'd say I'm agnostic. Because I don't dislike God enough to be an athiest, I just don't really find that he's necessary for my life.
I've had a lot of issues with being gay, and believing in God, and certain members of my family have made that even more difficult.
"God can help you change."
Well, unless God can alter my chromosones to make me not gay, I don't think that'll work. gonk
Religion's always been something I would like to have, but I'd feel left out, if I ever started really putting my faith into God. It's a lot more complicated for me than just "There is no God." Atheist isn't hating God hun, Atheist is not believing in any higher power.
Agnostic is constantly questioning, like you may believe in a higher power but are not sure if it's just a natural force, a sentient being, a "God" etc. or you may not be sure if you believe in a higher power or not. Well, I know.
Just... More often than not, I find that people who call themselves athiests tend to have more animoscity towards God. Like... that God has done something to them, or something like that. I don't know.
Just speaking from my own experience, I suppose.

I'm Christian... Protestant, I think. But I don't really know much about Protestantism, except for a few basic things, so I think I'll just convert to non-denominational... ism, but still be a Christian. whee

Wow....those results are...really non-stereotypical... eek
I suppose I could have put either pagan or atheist, as I consider myself a secular pagan. A.k.a. tree-hugging atheist. xd I hold the planet that supports me in the highest regard, to me nothing is more sacred than the Earth. But I don't believe in any kind of "higher power," and I myself am the only goddess in my life, so atheist fits me.

Just speaking from my own experience, I suppose. That's because there are too many fools out there who don't know what they're talking about. >.< There are Christians who fall out of faith. They have problems in their life and decide that there can be no God because he wouldn't do that to them or that God hates them so they call themselves atheists... when in fact they continue to believe in God but despise him for their own faults. I wouldn't call that Athiesm, I'd call it Emo. 3nodding mrgreen

Sounds slightly like Satanism as well. ~nods~ Belief in oneself as the only higher power and the like.

As for more of what I believe besides that we do have a creater that made the world. I believe there is no heavan and hell that people think of,why? For one what would be the point of hell? When we die our spirits can't feel nothing, no pain, so what would they do? Well I guess what I believe is different then most.

I'm sorry, but this really bothers me: Catholics -cannot- be Pagans, or else all Christians are Pagans. Catholics were first; Peter was the first Pope, before the Protestants broke off all Christians were Catholics. What gives you the idea we would be Pagans? For one thing, even if you do not know the history of the Christian religion in any detail, Catholics believe in and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, right? Would that not, by definition, make them Christian? And I don't see where you are getting the idea that he is calling Catholics pagans. Also, the Greek alphabet does not have a letter for the 'j' sound, and the New Testament was written primarily in Greek. I don't know for sure, but I believe that Hebrew does, otherwise the translators of the Bible must have messed with a lot of things, since there are Joshuas and such in the Old Testament. Lastly, I'm curious as to what source says that his real name was Yashua, because I've never seen that anywhere. I haven't seen any proof against it either, but I'm just curious. And Jesus would have had an Arabic/Egyptian type of look to him; Israel is, like, right by Egypt, and is fairly close to Jordan too. Personally, I'd call them all Arabs, but I don't know if they would be offended.

Peter was the first Pope? I'm sorry I.Am. but even with my short tiem in a Catholic church, I never believed that. Can you please offer proof. Or somethign that woudl refute this: http://www.historicist.com/articles2/peter.htmSorry if its rather offensive to you, but it does give a clear, easy to understand responce. And I think it a bit...well...stupid to assume all christians to be pagan if the catholics are. The Catholics wern't first, there was a sociaty of christians that existed long before the Catholic church.
