"Well your a very unique captain." She commented, he was only unique because she thought he would love the library and it's contents. "Call me Tosh, and what's with that kind of question? I joined because I can make a decision quickly with little drawbacks and if needed memorize something and recall it to the rest of the squad." She fiddled with her lip ring with her tounge on the inside.

Hokona Mayu 'I like you.... but______________________What kind of answer is that? Hokona thought grumpily and rolled his eyes at her response "Make quick decisions with little drawbacks? That doesn't answer my question. In fact....you practically danced around my question." he drawled slightly and began digging in his pockets again, pulling out an elongated pipe and slipping it between his lips "Why did you join my squad? Do you know what Squad One does? What do you know about the people you're going to be working alongside? That's what I want to know...not how you think you'll get away with making bad decisions." What exactly is the price to may.... I am of the Mitarowa Household.... Takuya Mitarowa " If I may sir." said Takuya starting his input. " Squad One acts quickly during emergencies. Quick decisions as well as actions are needed. We are able to learn of a situation, and mobilize before an official order is given. Also, we are to act as model Shinigami" said Takuya. Now he wasn't trying to step all over Toshika, it was just that he answered what he felt was correct. " The people I am working with are you our Esteemed Captain. Your Lieutenant is Imai Katashi along with myself and Toshika Melan here." said Takuya.

Toshika was about to answer when Takuya did instead and it was no use saying the exact same thing he did. "Ya...that...thanks Takuya." She felt stupid with the way she said that.

Hokona Mayu 'I like you.... but______________________Hokona leaned his head back to look at the boy as he spoke, one foot tapping the air in a rhythm "Mmm...that's a better answer but its almost identical to the rhetoric I wrote to get people to join." he said, his face looking oddly....frumpy. A strange look to say the least "I actually wanted your PERSONAL opinion of why you joined this squad." he took the cigarette out of his lips and sat up straighter "How bout I give you guys a base, an example of what I'm looking for." he began digging in his pockets again, pausing to wonder why he kept everything in his pockets before continuing. Hokona's face brightened as he found what he was looking for and brought out several Go pieces. He began rubbing them together "I was adopted by the previous Captain-Commander who loved to play Go. We would play for hours together, just him and I. He is the reason I allowed myself to be groomed for my position." he began juggling the stones, grinning at the two "I love this squad. I love the Society. I love everything about this place because it gives me a purpose. A reason to enjoy waking up in the morning. That is why I am here." he stopped juggling and held the stones hidden in his hands and leaned forward "Now. Personally...why did you join this squad?" I hate you too..........................................

His eyes did not look up to scan the area, but he could sense the spiritual presence of some recruits in the area as well as the Soutaichou. Earlier, Katashi had to leave the Kido lesson due to some... Personal business. He hardly had the time to say anything to the Captain about this issue, and thus he felt remarkably out of place returning. While Katashi didn't feel like even bothering himself with the details of what had happened, it had been some old business which he had needed to attend to at that exact moment. Maybe a Fukutaichou with a past wasn't the best candidate, but any and all who knew Katashi knew that he was devoted. He would die before he abandoned his position as a the Vice-Captain of the First Division. "I apologize for earlier, Soutaichou." he said flatly, still without looking up. When it was appropriate, Katashi would raise his head. But not a moment earlier. I think it's just the opposite.

 Toshika Melan Guess she would dodge his question again, a second time since the vice had come. She looked back down to the captain. "The vice? Oh..." She looked surprised, she was sure their positions were the exact opposite! "Run run little mouse, go to your pathetic house!"

 Takuya Mitarowa " Its a pleasure to meet you sir." said Takuya with a bow. " To answer your question. I joined your squad because of the nobility it possess. I come from a noble household and for me to not act as such would displease my father. I've also joined your squad because there are important people I wish to protect. Seeing as though the 1st Division is the fastest to pick up on situation, this would be perfect. That is..if you allow me to stay." said Takuya with another bow. There were various people he had to protect. His household since he was the heir to it. His sick mother. The unfortunate brother. And those who couldn't defend themselves.

The Fukutaichou, Imai Katashi." he stood and walked past Imai with a grumble "Straighten up already and greet the rest of the squad!" he knelt by a patch of daises and ran his hand over them. He was slightly put out by Tosh's reaction but it couldn't be helped...he was small, bad tempered and Friggin illiteracy...Its not my fault reading wasn't required for servants! And MY Soutaichou didn't bother to teach me... he thought, his face going stormy and the air around him became heavy with rieatsu. Hokona glanced over his shoulder at Takuya as he spoke and nodded in slight approval, the heaviness dispersing as he stood "That...is a good answer. And I'm not going to kick anyone out...we need shinigami before we can even begin to perform our duty correctly." I hate you too..........................................

Toshika Melan "Sorry captain, I didn't mean to say it that way." She listened to Takuya. He had a good reason and she would never say hers. Mostly she wanted the ability to have access to higher learning, more knowledge and more to see. More respect too, even if it called attention. "Run run little mouse, go to your pathetic house!"
