  Eva: I'm just venting. But yeah, I keep forgetting about Stasis. I have to remind myself not be frugal with it anymore. In all the other game modes I didn't have much use for it cuz it was overkill on all but a few enemies.

Yeah, I only ever used stasis to keep the regenerator away.

I tell ya, I'm getting so tired of seeing the opening scenes I'm about ready to waste one of my saves just so I don't have to escape the hospital again.

I wish. emo I'm talking about that special necromorph that kept popping up and wouldn't die until you cremated him with the jet flames.
Does HC mode not let you die, or is it really that hard?

Oh, you're talking about the Hunter. I thought you were talking about something else. ninja
It's...not really harder, I would say. Just, you can't start a HC game in New Game+ mode so you don't have any of your good s**t, there's very little health and ammo, and there are no checkpoints so when you die you load back at your last save point. Oh yeah, and you can only save three times in the entire game.

I've rage quited three times now. Now I'm just getting paranoid cuz I'm a good ways into the game and I still haven't saved yet. I'm at the point just before you meet the Stalkers for the first time. I've got the game paused in front of a save station as if Isaac's contemplating it. xD

Finally saved, and just before the end of chapter 5. And boy am I glad I did. Got into a boss fight soon after and I couldn't hit the weak spot because a pipe had fallen and blocked my view. Obviously that resulted in my death. xD

Played DS2 online for the first time yesterday. Oh my god that was fun. Confusing at first but once you get a feel for the pace it gets really fun. > w<

Whoo, finally beat Hardcore this morning. Funny thing is I wasn't even really trying. Dad was on the computer so I thought I'd play until he wanted the TV back. Ended up not dying where I normally did. xd

Chapter 3. It's a lot like the first game was, with minor improvements to the slight annoyances the previous game had (doors no longer take forever to open, stomping now has a purpose and isn't cumbersome, etc.) Not having as much fun as I did in the first game though. Not exactly sure why.
