((OOC)) Current In Tribe Happenings:
After teaching a few of his recruits how to survive, Kiroko has sent his potential tribe members out to scout the town. The tribe members were given one day to go out and explore on their own before reporting back to the Base.
It's now time to report back. Did your fox find anything? A friend? A cool gadget? A new place to get food? Come back to Base and share your info! (( End OOC)) It was almost time to start heading back. Kiroko let out a sigh as he gave his new mural one last long look. Sure, it was good, but there was something off about it. In some way, it just wasn't finished. The green male shook his head, knowing it was best to leave it now and come back to it later than to continue working and let it upset him. Besides, he wanted to be the first one back to the base so that he didn't miss anything.
He had to admit he was a bit worried about some of his tribe members. It was their first day out in the big city by themselves. Throughout the day, Kiroko had to keep reminding himself that each of them could take care of themselves or else they wouldn't have made it so far in the city to reach him. But still, he was worried. Shaking his head again, Kiroko dropped the paint brush he held in his mouth and began making his way back to the warehouse he called home. Marshall padded down warm sidewalk bobbing his head to the rhythm in his head. He had only been wondering this particular city for a day or two but it was his favorite one by far already. The tall buildings, the rushing people, and the intoxicating smells was just the right mix to make him feel at ease. Although, it was a little strange not seeing any other foxes around.
The tan fox had sought out the Phoenix Metropolis because he had heard word of a tribe of foxes forming here. But he was two days in and had yet to find even a trace of another fox. Oh well, he didn't let that bother him. There was way to much going on in the city to worry about rushing to find others. Although it would be nice.

Runaiu traveled beside the male, eyes flicking to glance at him. She had found him crawling under a fence, getting himself stuck, and than furiously claiming he was merely talking a rest. Sure, she believed that. It was time to report home. Home. What a strange concept. She had been a nomad all her life, and suddenly she settled down? If only her mate was here, or her children, but she was allowed to visit Tenshi. Tenshi had come before the tribe, she had joined after they mated. She was not going to ditch Tenshi for this tribe, but she wasn't going to ditch the tribe for Tenshi. Her babies had come before this tribe, and, startling enough, even one of her own sons was thinking of joining this tribe.
"Stop bickering, I'm only bringing you here to get yourself looked at." She hissed as the male began to ramble about male pride. She shot him a look that clearly told the youngster to shut his mouth before she made him. Jeez, she was just trying to be nice, look how it paid her.
Haru was annoyed. Okay, so his back was a little bruised, but it wasn't his fault! He had been crawling under that fence to get out of the city, and now this vixen appeared and not only saved his hind, but took away all pride he had but slipping under the fence like it was nothing, returning, and calling him a little boy. So what she was older? Didn't mean nothin'.
"I told you, I'm fine!"

[I'll add her picture later.. XP] Shaezelle wandered about the city alone. She knew it was about time she return, but she was looking for someone. A little human girl who had accidently left her doll on the street. Said doll was being held loosely between Shaezelle's teeth. Making sure not to puncture it, the vixen continued down the long sidewalk.
A glance at the sky told her it was too late, and Shaezelle doubted she would find the doll's owner in time. I suppose I could just bring it home with me, she thought, changing directions to head back home.
Nearing the base, she caught the scent of another, unfamiliar fox. And it was easy enough to spot him between the thinning crowd of humans. Curious, Shaezelle quickened her pace to catch up with the tan, heavily tattooed fox. "Hello there," she tried to greet him around the small doll in her mouth.

Kiroko skillfully hopped through one of the lower open windows and landed on the warehouse floor without making a sound. A quick glance around told him that he was indeed the first one to return. He was early, as usual, so it didn't surprise him much. Kir wondered which of the others would be the first to return after him.
After a few moments of waiting around, the green male made his way up the broken staircase and onto the roof. Kiroko padded from one side to the next, scouting the surrounding area for any of his tribesmen. It wasn't long before his red eyes spotted Runaiu making her return. She was being accompanied by a male. Kiroko couldn't make out much of the male from where he was located though. Deciding that the others would return in time, Kir made his way back to the bottom of the warehouse so that he could greet Runaiu and the stranger she was with with they arrived.
Marshall had been gazing at the tall buildings around him and hadn't even noticed the colorful female until she spoke to him. He froze in mid-step, the music in his head coming to a halt as well, and stared at her. Nothing about her posture seemed to be hostile and her tone had sounded pleasent, even though it was a bit muffled by the doll she carried. Mars instantly relaxed, the music resuming in his mind as he walked a few steps closer to the vixen.
"Ello there, Miss." He greeted her cheerfully. "You wouldn't happen to know where I could find the Phoenix tribe would you?" His tail swayed behind him in time with the melody only he could hear.

Miramili stood next to some humans since vehicles were speeding down the road. Some of the younger ones touched her and stared. She leaned into the pets.
It was a good thing nobody looked down at her paws. There were gray splotches over them. She ran into a freshly poured cement corner when she went to get food. A cool, squishy feeling between her pads and she started to dance in it. She would have been caught. The music blasted out from one of the cars and she started bopping to the beat.
A glance at the sun, and she started off towards the base. At one corner the cart man was distracted and she grabbed a few links to bring back. It wasn't much for her first time alone here.

Shaezelle nodded enthusiastically at the fox's questions. Carefully placing the doll on the ground in front of her, she said, "Hello, my name's Shaezelle. I'm actually a member of Phoenix, and was heading home now. You could follow me there, if you want." She smiled, glad she met a fox today, and that she could help him out. She nodded in the direction of the base, and added, "It's just a few blocks away in that direction."
With that, she wrapped the doll up in her tail, and started leading the way.

Lin came quickly dashing the corner, a white bottle gripped tightly in her jaws as she looked over her shoulder to make sure the human she'd nabbed it from wasn't following. He'd been very adamant about the thing back...not her fault he'd left it in reach of her mouth.
Convinced she'd lost him and not led him to the entrance of the tribe, Lin darted through the open window and tumbled to her belly, panting as she let go of the bottle and let it roll away for the moment.
"Hey Kiroko," she panted out. "I found one of those bottles of medicine humans like to take. I think from the way it smelled that it's that one that made the mice I tested it on sleep. Figure it'd be good for new foxes around who're still jumpy about the city and can't sleep through all the noise."
Despite being in good shape, the shaman rolled over onto her back. "Ugghh that human was a nasty brute. Chased for me sixteen blocks." ((I'll add Romulus later~))

•I can survive the city• Name and image of fox: Tweak Position wanted: Shaman Why do you want to join: Tweak just isn't cut out for forest life. His hearing, sight, and smell are more sensitive than most, and so the quiet of the wild puts him on edge. He's got a good feel for the human world already, and knows a thing or two about drugs (the healing kind, just HAD to use that word).

Charis shifted his bag of supplies. It had been easy to swipe the side bag from a stall with a busy human. Then Chais had moved to another section of the city and sat in front of an open stall that food and looked from his sack to the food repeatedly. The human had been kind enough to slip some bread into the satchel and petted Charis. Playing meek Charis had accepted the petting and then moved to another stall out of sight of the previous one. He did this repeatedly. Not all the humans gave food. Some had even shooed him away, but there were always humans who would help. Some bought food and gave it to him after he spent time in front of a vendors stall and gotten nothing. Save the dry foods like bread many of the humans wrapped up the food so now Charis had a side bag full of wrapped sandwiches and other such goods. A few humans had even slipped some coins and some crumpled green paper into his bag. Charis had no idea what these were for but the others might so he shrugged it off. Shifting the bag for a moment with his paws Charis took a moment to stretch his wings in a back alley. It was time to head back to the others. The city was strange and confusing place but Charis realized that he could use the strange looks the humans gave him and their strange fascination with his feathers to beg food from them. I should probably be stealing it or doing something to show that I have skill, but I don’t like stealing and most humans tend to start watching as soon as I get within sight. The bag seller was a lucky rarity for me. Charis slid out of the alley and started back for the base.

He had staked out the medicine place of the humans. It had taken him hours, watching, waiting, until one foolish human left a bag unattended for just a single minute. 'Course, it had only taken the fox a single second to nab it and run. By the time he heard faint shouting behind him, he was a several blocks away and out of sight.
"Hmm-ear-mmm..." In an alley way, he stopped and checked the contents. There was sticks he had seen on a human's broken bone that seemed to keep the bone straight; a few rolls of a thin, kind of wispy cloth that looked good for stopping blood, a couple rolls of a stretch-y cloth that was good for keeping strained joints still, some needle-things that made him shudder, and several bottles of pills. Sniffing the bottles one by one, he ticked off a couple pain relievers, a sleeping med, a med that he had taken once after a spicy dumpster-dive that cooled his flaming insides, and... Hm. This one... he didn't know. Spotting a curious rat, he quickly swiped up the thing and stuffed a crushed pill in its mouth, not bothering with 'proper ways'. The rat ran in circles for a second, then fell over dead. "Nope. -shoulder- Not a good one." Still, he figured he'd keep the bottle and take it to the tribe he was going to see.
Lin. That was who he was told to find. She was the shaman of the tribe of city foxes, she was the one he was to study under to improve his knowledge. Slinging the back over his back he began to weave through alleyways and streets, until finally he found a heavily marked-on building that smelled like fox. "This -tail- must be it! -neck-" He was excited, and hoped greatly that his findings were beneficial to the tribe. Taking a deep breath to steady his twitching muscles that seemed to go into hyper-drive when he was nervous, he padded along the side until he found the entrance.
"Hello, in there?" He called in a slightly lower than normal voice, unsure of how the tribe was on keeping hidden from the world, not just humans. "-ear- 'Name's Tweak. I'm here to -shoulder- see about a shaman position -shoulder-?"

Runaiu entered the ware-house soundlessly, however her companion kept bickering about how he was absolutely fine. The older vixen narrowed her eyes and suddenly tapped his back. The male let out a sharp hiss, shaking it off and glaring at her. With this, she padded up to the green Elder, Kiroko, and flicked her tail absently, shaking her head at him.
"Hello~" She greeted him with. "Sorry I am late, I went to see my mate and children, and when I returned I found this," She jabbed her tail at the male she had dragged along. "Stuck in a fence. He hurt himself a little in the process." She was tempted to call the kid...well.... kid, but held her tongue. She didn't need the little brat being riled up. One of the reasons she actually respected was Kiroko was he was about her age, maybe a month younger, and he didn't act like a idiot.
Haru pouted, flicking an ear. He heard voices, eyes flicking back. Did these foxes really live in human habitats? How, strange! He frowned, head lowering slightly. Stupid vixen, dragging him all the way out here like she was his mom! Hell, she had grabbed him by the scruff earlier and literally yanked him along. She must be a mom he guessed. A butt ugly one.
"I'm fine!"

Kiroko took his time descending the stairs and crossing the main floor of warehouse. He was expecting Runaiu and her guest to come waltzing in through the side door and was surprised to hear hurried footsteps aimed for the low window. Kiroko turned from the broken door to the window just in time to see Lin hurtling through it. He was at her side instantly, checking to see if she was alright. Seeing that his mate was fine, Kiroko smiled and licked her cheek.
"Welcome back, Lin." He said, letting her catch her breath. The green male picked up the white bottle and trotted over to the tribes medicine cabinet, which was really just two low shelves, as he listened to Lin talk. "'Sa gewd idea." Kiroko said around the bottle in his mouth as he jumped on a stool to reach the shelves. Even though Lin said she thought it was sleep medicine, Kiroko placed the bottle on the 'Unsure' shelf until Lin had time to test it. It wasn't that he didn't trust her judgement, he trusted her completely, but it was better to be safe than sorry when it came to these sorts of things.
"Sixteen blocks? I'm impressed. Most foxes would have given up after 6." Kir said with a smile as he returned to Lin's side. He was about to compliment her further but Runaiu and her guest had arrived.
"Welcome back, Runaiu. You're not late at all, right on time actually." Kiroko greeted the vixen and raised an eye to the younger males protest. "How is your family doing?" He asked Runaiu as he inspected the male she brought in. The stranger didn't seem to be too badly hurt, maybe a few scratches and some bruising. Nevertheless, Kir sent him to Lin to be inspected.
"Hello there." Kiroko said, addressing the male. "I am Kiroko, head of the Phoenix Tribe. Since you're fine, it shouldn't be a problem for my tribes shaman to take a look at your back, correct?" He paused and nodded his head towards Lin. "This is Lin, our shaman. Shower her your injury just to be on the safe side."
Kiroko turned from the group as he caught a whiff of an unfamiliar scent that was followed by an unfamiliar voice. There didn't seem to be any other member of his tribe accompanying the new fox. So that meant that foxes could now find this place on their own? The thought put a little of Kiroko's worries to rest and brought a smile to his face.
"Come in, Tweak." Kiroko said in response to the voice who wished to hold a position in his tribe. Speaking of which, Shaezelle, Miramili, and Charis still hadn't returned yet. The males red eyes turned to the windows, hoping to catch a glance of them. He not only hoped that they returned soon and safely, but that at least one of them was carrying food.
So this vixen was a member of Phoenix? Sweet. Perhaps it wouldn't be so hard to find this tribe after all. And now that he had found the tribe, or rather the tribe had found him, he didn't have to worry about getting lost or being alone anymore.
"Awesome." Marshall said as trotted to Shaezelle's side. "Name's Marshall but most foxes call me Mars for short." He paused and looked at her. "So, what's with the doll?" As they began walking, Marshall paid much more attention to his surroundings so that he'd be able to find his way back to where ever they were going again.

Tweak slipped inside the old warehouse, instantly scanning the foxes inside. None of them he knew, though he had seen a few of them skittering around the city from time to time. One fox that looked a bit out of place was padding from a big green male over to a little green female, who began checking him over as soon as he got close, so Tweak was able to identify the Elder-to-be and the shaman he was to study under. Though he knew the bag should go to the shaman, Tweak figured it was best to address the head honcho... Kiroko, was his name?
"Elder," he padded up to the male. "I've -ear- brought some things from a human -shoulder- medicine building, some fool left this -ear- whole bag just laying around. I've -ear- identified a few things, but this...-tail-" He pulled out the bottle that held the pills that killed the rat, setting it in front of him so he could talk. "I don't know what -tail- this is, but when -ear- I gave a half crushed up to -ear- a rat, it went dead." He was pretty sure it wasn't safe for a fox to take, but, then again, it could be something strong and he had overdosed the squeaker. Wouldn't be the first time, rats were quite a bit smaller than foxes.

Mira skirted around some people as she made her way closer to the base. She really didn't want to bring a two leg to the tribe. She ducked around a beat up car and headed for the entrance.
She heard voices as she stepped in, one that was not familiar at all, but seemed to be welcomed so far. "I'm back and I got some food," she called out. Unsure of the reaction about food, the vixen braced herself as she padded towards the group that was there.

Charis continued on his path back to the base. He saw a white vixen that had green legs. Miramili if he remembered her name right. She had cement on her feet and was headed into the base before he could say anything to her. He followed cautiously hearing voices coming from within. ”Ah hello?” The sidebag he stole bounced against his side as he moved. There was a large group of foxes in the base so Charis nodded to them and moved off to the side with his bag of food. He didn’t really want to speak and interrupt what was going on. I haven't seen some of these foxes before are they new?
