Obadias smiled at her admittance that she was selfish too, and nuzzled her cheek, returning the affection gestures. "We'll just be selfish together, shall we?" he mused, with a deep chuckle. He enjoyed having this opportunity to socialize one on one, as it rarely happened in a harem situation, though he tried to make sure he had time with each of his banu, and his cubs, on their own so they did not feel lost in a group.
He watched as she spread out on the ground, a warm smile on his face as he gazed at her. He had never thought of other species as attractive or really beautiful until he had met Mihika, but he could certainly appreciate the beauty in a leopard now that he had seen her. "Best to take advantage of the quiet moments to really soak it in," he chuckled. "The cubs might be up soon and they'll be little time for sunbathing, I fear." Cubs were so...energetic. Had he been like that as a cub? He truly couldn't remember.

"That'll work." Whispered the leopardess with a smile. It was times like this when she really could let go of the roguelands. Though secretly her dreams tended to become phantoms of the past, of the roguelands. Mihika shook her head and looked back to Obadias. Her life was here now with him. She had willingly accepted that and was content.
"That's so true." She laughed, "I wish I had even some of their energy." Her eyes closed and the leopardess let out a sigh. She loved her cubs dearly. No matter how much of a surprise they were, she never would take it back.

Obadias chuckled, nodding his head in agreement with her words. He wished he had the cubs energy too. It woudl certainly come in handy, but since he slept only a few hours a night, that was nearly impossible for the almost constantly exhausted male. He sat down with a soft sigh, next to Mihika. He lowered his head, and licked her cheek affectionately as she sprawled out with her eyes closed.
"Had you thought of having a family before?" He asked, testing the waters a little bit. He knew the cubs had come as a surprise, but...did she want a big family? Obadias hoped she did. He had always wanted a huge family, though he'd never been interested in a huge harem. Parvana and Mihika were the females he loved, and he didn't see any need to add to that unnecessarily - unless one of them began to feel the strain of tending the den, in which case, he would have to add to them, so as to not exhaust them fully.

Mihika's tail flicked against the lion affectionately. Yawning she blinked up at him and laughed, "Don't I already have one?" She teased before looking away thoughtfully, "Before my cubs, I never really imagined myself as a mother. But now -" She smiled over at him affectionately, "I wouldn't mind to go for round two with the one I love. If that was what you mean."
Laughing softly the leopard rolled over on her side, "The question is do you want a family?" Her smile faltered as another idea came to her. What if he didn't mean cubs though? Mihika looked back to the sky and took a deep breath. She knew how this pride worked and sharing Obadias with Parvana was okay with her now. But another female? She hoped it was cubs instead. Though the leopardess had to admit that whatever made Obadias happy would work out. Definitely.

Obadias stifled a smile at her teasing, though he had to agree that she was right. They did already have a family, but he was thinking of...something different then what they had. He perked up as she mentioned not minding going for a 'round two' with cubs. He had known that her first litter had been unexpected, and he was amazed at her ability to adjust, to a new pride - a new mate and unexpected cubs, but they idea of having more little ones...it was a pleasing idea. He had always wanted a big family.
"Yes," he said swiftly at her question, gazing at her with a soft and loving expression. "I had always wanted a large family, even when I was younger. This pride tends to have large families, and mine was no different." He peered at her, and lent down to lick at cheek. "And I like the idea of having my family, with you and Parvana." He had always thought of Mihika's first litter as his own sons and daughters, but it would be different with cubs of his own. They'd be blood, and he would be able to give his mother grand-cubs by his blood, legitimately.

Mihika laughed at his eagernes before nodding, "The opposite of me, I suppose." She answered honestly, "If my first litter had not come as a surprise, I probably would have never had them." She sighed before smiling up at him, "Not that I'm worried about being a mother anymore, mind you. It was just a scary thing at the time. I didn't want them to end up alone like...like I had been." She nuzzled him and couldn't help but to tease. "Guess I have to help that idea get started then, don't I?"
Really though the thought of cubs made her happy. She loved her cubs that she had now, but the thought of actually having cubs fathered by Obadias made her heart jump. Quietly she looked up at him with a gaze full of love and smiled.

Obadias wasn't really surprised by her comments, though he was a little sad to think that a female who was so beautiful ,and so gentle, might not have become a mother if not for a fling. "Then I am even more glad that they came along," he told her gently, "because you are a wonderful mother, and deserve a loving family." He gave a chuckle, and teased lightly, "no one is ever alone in the Ukuucha'wafalme," he told her, with a playful wink and another loving nuzzle.
"And, you know, no matter what happens, you and your cubs will always have me." Obadias was a loyal creature, and he would stick by his banu. Blood was not important when it came to the cubs, and even if Mihika and Obadias never had cubs of their own, he would always consider her first litter his own, but the idea of their family growing - of a den full of love and cubs, was a wonderful thought. Obadias gazed back down at Mihika, his eyes mirroring hers, and a gentle grin on his face, imagining their future together.
