Winner glowered at his opponent, he had almost pulled this fight off despite the cheating - which he wouldn't forget anytime soon - but the world had conspired against him and here we was..a place he Winner should never be. "For now" He growled at the other wolf, mentally adding on 'but not for long'.
Of course Winner would wait until this Rua character least expected it before he retaliated..and he'd have to come up with something horrible and devious - much like he had tricked that silly Gullwing into having his pups just to torture Pumpkin. Good times that - and he was sure he could think up something equally as distressing for Rua.

Not that KK believed Winner was any sort of evil, though he certainly was not the most moral of wolves. She hoped that perhaps this loss against someone like Rua might temper his ego . . . Though upon approaching, the alpha saw a more-than-mischevious gleam in Winner's eyes, foreboding in the sunlight.
Boy, she was pretty thick to think losing against Sir Good-A-Lot would be a good thing for someone like Winner! KK chuckled under her breath.
"And Rua wins," she declared as neutrally as she could, nodding to him before addressing them once more. "You both go to to Spellbinder's nook for some rest - the second round'll be starting after midafternoon, and you both better be ready for a fight."
Indeed, she said "both". KK winked at Winner, then walked off.

Whatever her plan had been, however, it was going to be quickly ruined . . .
