He wasn't expecting the charge. When her body connected with his, it made him fall back, body going to the dirt while the wind escaped his lungs. Breathing was difficult and he, himself, was starting to get dizzy and woozy. Was he running out of steam so early? It wasn't fair! Surly Lalita had done more physical an activity than this fight?
Not true. When he, shakily, got to his paws, he saw her swaying as she tried to get to her paws. That's when he circled to her side and actually pushed himself under her and bucked. She would probably land on her side, wind knocked out of her again, and when she was, Lalita moved over to her and put a big, heavy paw on her body. His eyes watched her as he panted, licking his muzzle.
"Do you submit?"

Lungaia barely made it to her paws when she found herself again un-seated. The wind knocked from her lungs, she lay in the sand, looking up at him with slightly-amused eyes. Strange, how difficult it was to maintain a civil battle. Had she been playing for keeps, Lungaia had no doubt at all that the little whelp would be bleeding at her paws.
But she wasn't. And though her every instinct screamed at her to get up, to continue the fight, she also knew when she was fairly defeated in a sparring match. "Well enough, pup," she said, voice thickened by the rasp of hard breathing. "I surrender."

Huh. Guess Raggedy Ears there probably wasn't as tough as she looked! Or maybe she went too soft too long and got the price for it. Or . . . you know what, whatever. Match done!
"Winner be you of course~" KK chimed in as she trotted to the two and separated them. "Good fight and all that lovely stuff, my pair of Ls. Now I'm gonna ask you guys to go to S, which is for Spell, which is for Spellbinder, who's our healer, to get some nice old tending to before we yank ya out into the sun again, mkay? Mkay~"
