Ahhhhhhhhhh... Saar stepped out of the dark cave and onto the small ledge overlooking the valley. It was so nice here... Not at all like the first day he had came. Birds were singing, trees were all leaved out and green... Despite the cloud cover that would remain a constant, it was a most wonderful, crisp day. Being late winter, the air was still nippy, but that didn't darken the mood one bit. Grinning from ear to ear, Saar jumped off the ledge, which was high enough that kits would need help but low enough that adults had no issues, and wandered over to the spring to take a nice cool drink. As he drank, his mind started whirring. How was he to find members? It wasn't like foxes were just going to show up. But, he couldn't just leave his new tribe land, could he?
Sighing, his happy mood giving way to the puzzles, the big male trotted back to the cave entrance. Then he trotted to the mouth of the valley. "Now what?" He mused. The Modeity had told him to revive this tribe... He had to do something... Sighing again, Saar decided he would first survey the valley, see if anyone had, by chance, stayed there in the absence of the old failed tribe. Turning from the mouth, he padded off to look at all that Donar had given him.

The vixen laid huddled on a large tree branch. The night had been cold and she thought she would of made it to a cave, but it got dark before she got through the valley. Kemnebi climbed up the tree to stay warm and get out of the way of predators.
The morning arrived a little warmer then the night had, with birds singing and the smell of fresh dew. With a stretch, she jumped down to the ground and smiled. She didn't scent any other foxes around, at least she was happy no adults. Her mind was on kits and babies as she chased down breakfast.

Wow. Saar never realized how far back the valley went... But he was determined to patrol every inch of it for dangers and lurkers, and hopefully those lurkers would want to join him. After all, can't have a tribe with only the elder!
It wasn't long before he heard the screeching of birds, as if something was after them. Hm. Saar stopped and listened. Narrowing his eyes, he stealthily crept toward the direction the birds were coming from, and soon spotted a deep pelted vixen looking for breakfast. Smiling, Saar jumped up on a low tree branch, out of sight, to watch this vixen. First impression didn't look bad, and it was a good idea for him to study potential members before approaching them, he figured.

The silver haired vixen scented the slight wind. The birds calling her closer to their nests and she padded softly over to the trees. Her body twitched with the thought of one of the juicy birds for breakfast. It wouldn't be much, but it would be the easiest for her to catch.
With a quick leap she grabbed the bird closest to her. The wings smacked at her ears and face as she attempted to hold it down with her paws. Eyes closed, her paws found the bird and soon it was still.

Saar jumped from tree to tree and landed beside the vixen. "Bravo, bravo!" He cheered. This one would be a good hunter. He just had to hope she would join him!
Sweeping a low bow, the male introduced himself. "Welcome to the land of the Thunderclap Tribe." From his perch high up on the rock face, a little kit watched two adult foxes below him. One female, hunting, and the other... tracking her? What was up with that? The kit sniffed the air. Neither had the scent of malice about them... Carefully, he skidded down the rock, landing quietly on soft grass.
