Her eyebrows arched up, looking a little surprised herself. "My apologies Sir, with the rumors and gossip going around I assumed he had heard." Probably wasn't the best idea.
She didn't see Lucas at all other then a few moments this morning before going in. Still, Seth was correct, she should have at least made sure he knew.

Seth spoke to Lucas again, and Faleen once again fell silent, looking over at Lucas again.

Luke made a mental note to figure out the exact details of what had happened after the meeting; perhaps Faleen would be willing to elaborate. Judging from hers and Seth's reactions, she must have had a strong grasp of the story.

He continued to sit perfectly straight, his forearms loosely crossed in his lap. Seth's question was a broad one, and it took some consideration before he was sure how to respond. "I was involved for approximately 28 years. I could conceivably tell you a great deal, but I assume what you're interested in is more recent events. To the best of my knowledge, the current leader should be a man named Deimos, unless there has been another change in the command some time in the past several months." Which wasn't completely impossible, considering the circumstances under which he had parted from Galactic. Claire had seemed to indicate that the rebellion hadn't gone very well, though, and he couldn't imagine Deimos handing over his status for anything less than a bullet between his eyes.

Leaning back in his chair, Seth narrowed his eyes slightly in thought as he listened wordlessly. "That's right, he appeared in the last raid, along with what looked to be two executives or elites of his. What can you tell me about them, especially Deimos?"

Now this seemed to be worth his time after all. If he could glean a good bit of information from Lucas, it would make for a much more impressive report to Lucere.

She linked the face to the name that she had heard, Remembering the man who claimed to be the... Boss of Galactic.
She frowned, puzzled as she thought, why was the Galactic Boss out so much... he claimed he wanted to see Team Rocket Boss Lucere, she supposed that was a reason, its not like the filthy can come up to the HQ and knock on the door, but if he wanted to send a message, wouldn't any Agent do?
Boss Lucere... Sir, only shows himself about the base in very rare occasions, so the idea of going out on missions is not even a thought in the Rocket's heads. Not that he's not capable, Faleen is FULLY aware of this, it just wasn't his job, thats why he had underlings.

She glanced back over at Lucas when Seth explained what happened, and asked him for information.
from what Lucas has said already, he seemed to know quite a bit that Rocket could use, she only hoped he could share more that Seth could use. Anything to help Rocket.

"Deimos is a noisy, pretentious man who would brag about successfully preparing a sandwich if he happened to do so in your company," Luke replied with mild disdain. "However, there is no arguing that he is a genius. Mechanics and electronics alike, once he's through with it, it's flawlessly lethal, if not rather... eccentric in design. There is no question that he has a terrifying talent for the art." Had he been a proper member of the tech department, he might have had the opportunity to help assemble one of Deimos's creations, but his affiliation with the surveillance department had excluded him from the opportunity to do so.

"Of the two that were with him, one was without a doubt Commander Tethys. She is a constant companion to Deimos, but I don't know much of her beyond that. She is cold, remorseless, and quite possibly more loyal than anyone to Deimos's cause. As for the other..." he paused in consideration, "I would imagine it was likely Commander Orion. Compared against Tethys, he may as well be a complete opposite. He's a boisterous troublemaker, but there's no denying that he is skilled. Unfortunately I rarely had the opportunity to interact directly with the commanders, so much of what I know is hearsay." It had always bothered him how much the commanders kept to themselves, probably because being unaware of their activities meant the possibility for being unprepared for any surprises they may have felt inclined to drop. Luke hated surprises.

There was a grunt of irritation as Deimos' genius was again confirmed. Apparently the man was behaviorally an idiot, as Seth had thought, but was a mechanical genius. At least according to those who seemed to know him well enough. The fact that he managed to get through Seth's scrambler said something though. This did not bode well for the elite, and it annoyed him extensively.

"Tell me something I don't already know," Seth said with an impatient edge to his voice. Most of what Lucas had said, particularly about the commanders, he was already aware of. After all, he'd had a face to face encounter with Orion.

"What is Deimos' cause exactly? And how is he looking to achieve it? Also, why does he have his sights on us?"

Faleen kept her expressions carefully controlled, but the part she was rarely ever able to stop was the pink flush of her face, indicating that she was feeling a strong emotion about something.
In this case, it was frustration.

It was clear that the Galactic team had a serious turn out of very elaborate machines and ships.
But to hear that the leader of Team Galactic was a mechanic like her... made her feel filthy.
It didn't help that Lucas put a lot of emphasis on how talented... genius at it he was, better then her... this bothered her, greatly.
she had to convince herself that all he had on her was age and funding... that was IT!

"His exact purpose was on a need-to-know basis, and I, evidently, never needed to know," he explained. "He made it clear - loudly and frequently - that his plans are far beyond anything the former leader Cyrus could have imagined, but he never made it very clear how this was true. The most he ever divulged was that he believes in his ability to create a perfect world." He paused to consider the next question. "I'm not sure he necessarily has his sights on us, as you say. The mission to the volcano was to collect a Ho-Oh, correct?" He had gleaned that much from rumor, and it fit nicely into the equation. "Deimos is collecting the legendaries. He intends to use them as a power source for a machine, but I never heard any elaboration on what this machine is or what it is meant to do. If the Ho-Oh was in fact at the volcano, that would explain why Galactic interfered. It's possible he has an interest in us due to Rocket's possession the legendary DNA that's used in cloning procedures, but that's nothing more than a personal theory."

Seth had similar thoughts to Faleen's. This whole affair and the fact that an idiot like Deimos was such a technical genius, was a slap in the face. It too bothered him and he had every intent to continue in improving his own skills and especially his security system. He would not allow Deimos to beat him, and refused to believe that the fool could be better than him.

It figured that Deimos' plans were well guarded, although Seth was perplexed on why Deimos' ultimate goal was so closely guarded. Aside from the fact that he wanted to create a perfect world... which was just sheer madness in itself.

What was interesting though, was this device that Lucas mentioned. Seth's brows raised in skeptical interest. "A machine that uses legendary Pokemon as a power source?" That was odd and simply unheard of. But it explained why they had crossed paths at the volcano. "He's tracking us somehow, letting us lead him to the legendaries. He's using us." His voice hinting at a deep seething rage. This was infuriating.

"Where is their base located?"
PostPosted: Thu Jan 27, 2011 8:00 pm

How in the world could there be a machine like that? He brow was furrowed this time when she heard this news, looking over to watch Lucus again, glancing over at Seth when he took in this answer.

When he asked where the base location of the Galactic were, she tilted her head in a sideways glance to Lucas.
If they were even in the same location... that would be awesome, though it seemed like it would be almost to good to be true, she wouldn't be surprised if they moved.

He nodded at Seth's words, though the next question brought a more dubious reply, "I cannot answer that in certainty. The Galactic base relocates on a fairly frequent basis. The longest time it ever stayed in one place was under Cyrus's hand, when it was stationed in Sinnoh's Veilstone City. They were in Almia when I parted from them, but that was months ago. They've surely relocated since then." Half of his response was introspective as he tried to pin down some idea of where Galactic might have settled. It was worrying to be so completely unaware of the enemy's movements, especially when they seemed to be targeting the Rockets.

Seth's fist slammed against his desk. "Dammit," he cursed. That figured, but it probably would have been too good to be true should Lucas have known the exact location of Team Galactic's base as well. This team was proving to be most annoying and a lot more organized and resourceful than he cared to admit. Still, Lucas had proven to be very useful with what knowledge he did have. This would help his report to the boss tremendously.

That was unfortunate news, Seth's frustration to it seemed appropriate.
Faleen had to wonder why they moved so much... it seemed like such a huge hassle, considering what all they would need to move! and inconspicuously?

"Sir?" she started, glancing up at Elite Seth, "Permission to state an inquiry?" she had a couple of questions that popped into her head, not sure how useful they would be, but she was curious enough about them.

Seth's reaction was understandable; it was a bit like dangling a treat in front of a Growlithe's nose and snatching it away when it moved to take it. Luke was equally frustrated, but he maintained a level expression and awaited the next question, casting a sidelong glance at Faleen when it became evident that she would be making the next query.

Seth turned his gaze to Faleen as she voiced her question. "Fine," he told her motioning for her to go ahead with whatever question she had. This situation was indeed frustrating, but he couldn't complain too much considering the information Lucas had provided.
